Chapter 51 Saw a ghost
“Get away… get away!” Antonia was like a mad woman once she excluded the bathroom from fright and started throwing things around her room…breaking stuff and shouting for help.
She didn't stop until the bedroom door opened and Bianca and Alfredo, who heard the noises, rushed in.
“Mom! Stop it now!” Alfredo held his mom, stopping her from breaking things around. Bianca called for the servants to help them… Antonia didn't stop shouting and protesting, even when she was shoved on the bed. The two doctors attending to Luciano rushed in to see what was happening.
“She… I saw her… she was there… She came” Antonia kept saying.
“Mom stop it… please just like down” Alfredo coaxed, not sure what happened to his mom for her to go crazy so suddenly. She was fine a while ago, so now what.
“Get out already!” Antonia shouted at the doctors and servants to leave. Out of fear, they stormed out of the room, leaving Bianca and Alfredo sitting on the bed beside their mother.
“Mom, what's all this, huh?” Bianca was annoyed over her mom's behavior, she was acting as if she had seen an impossible ghost. Antonia was breathing heavily as if she had been running a marathon.
She was sweating and trembling so much that Bianca and Alfredo exchanged questionable glances at each other.
“S-she's there… I saw her… Alfredo… go and check…blood…b-blood everywhere,” Antonia kept mumbling gibberish, shaking her head as she dragged her legs on the bed and crossed her arms around.
“Mom, what's there?” Bianca asked, placing her hand on her mom's lap. She was so cold, trembling even to her touch.
“Mom, what's going on?” Alfredo asked softly, he had never seen his mom so frightened before. The state she was in was something they both were worried about.
“The bathroom… Olivia… she's there” Antonia blurted out and buried her face in her plans…both Bianca and Alfredo stared at her in disbelief. Of all things.
“Is this a prank… mom, what's wrong with you!” Bianca nearly yelled, feeling irritated with her mom,” Freddy, please check… I don't believe this, “Bianca added, not sure why Antonia would play a prank there. She caused a huge scare.
“Sure,” Alfredo mumbled and left the bed. He was frightened when he heard screaming. He thought something had happened to her. Alfredo walked inside the bathroom. Antonia and Bianca decided to follow him.
“I'm certain this is just a prank mom… what's with you,” Bianca glared at Antonia, now standing close to the door and nervously peeking inside. Bianca rolled her eyes in annoyance and watched as Alfredo inspected the entire bathroom. There was no blood, no broken glass, and certainly not Olivia.
Antonia was perplexed, dumbstruck as she stood there. Felt her knees weakening. The lights were on, shifting her gaze towards the shower glass door. There was nothing. The water in the tub was just ordinary. Turning to the mirror on the wall. Antonia lost her balance. It was the same.
She recalled breaking it in a fit of rage, but how come.
“There's nothing here… mom, you should rest” Alfredo came back and said.
Bianca dragged her mom back to the bed and carefully made her down.
“She… she was there…believe me… I-i saw blood… blood everywhere” Antonia said, trying to get out of bed when Alfredo hugged her. “No get away… she was there… you need to believe me”
“Mom, that's enough, okay” Alfredo muttered, coaxing his mom to calm down.
“Here, drink some water” Bianca handed Alfredo a glass of water, so he could give Antonia. What was happening, Bianca glanced towards the bathroom and then back to her mom. Something was wrong somewhere.

Olivia stood before Luciano's bed. Her eyes narrowed into slits as she scanned the man helplessly lying in bed.
He looked pathetic and connected with various machines. He was nothing but a dead man.
The room was empty. With everyone panicking over Antonia. She decided to pay him a visit.
Closing the door behind her, she walked around the room. This was Luciano's old room. She recalled the last time. She came to visit him, and they shared their first kiss here.
Olivia dragged herself until she was standing by the bed,
“You must be happy… what did you achieve, huh?” Olivia muttered, doing everything she could not break down. It was gut-wrenching that she felt as if her heart had been ripped out of her chest. It was nothing like a slap in the face.
With each step, she bled slowly. The need to die was there. To escape her agony, unfortunately, she couldn't. She lived again, and now she was standing before the man who dragged the knife into her belly and threw her off the cliff.
“Killing our child… your very own unborn child” Olivia yelled through gritted teeth. Tears rained down her face, her heart clenched tightly as she grabbed the edge of the bed for support. This wasn't the time to shed tears.
“Not to worry… very soon I'll dry all of you crazy… by the time I'm done with you… you'll be begging me for mercy,” Olivia said, weeping her tears. The sharp look in her eyes would pierce through someone's soul. The hatred she harbored for them was something she couldn't explain.
“Medication,” Olivia muttered and picked up the various small bottles on the table containing medicine…both liquid and tablets.
Without wasting time. She dug inside her backpack and retrieved similar bottles and replaced them.
“You won't die so easily… I'll make sure you die a painful death” Olivia spat out and turned to leave when suddenly, the doorknob twisted.
“Oh no,” she muttered, knowing full well someone was coming. Olivia rushed towards the window. And hid behind the curtains. With ease, she tugged at a gun Ira had given her earlier just in case and waited.
The door opened. Olivia could see who just walked in, and it was a nurse.
“So how is he?” Solange walked in wearing a long nightgown. Olivia knew she was Luciano's wife.
“Ma'am, sir is still unconscious” the nurse replied and started administering medicine to Luciano.
“Careful… he's my husband,” Solange said and sat in the bed. Olivia smirked inwardly because the nurse didn't notice anything with the medicine she was giving Luciano. But now she needed to get out.
Ira was waiting for her outside the mansion. If she took longer. Ira might be worried. The nurse left, but Solange was still there, arranging Luciano's room.
What to do?
In such a case, Gabby had to show up and distract Solange.
