Chapter 90 Nightmares
Olivia stared at the woman standing in front of her, her arrogance could be seen even in her eyes. The way she spoke didn't sit well with Olivia.
“Don't talk to me like that,” Olivia confronted her head in. The anger flashing in her eyes was something she couldn't suppress.
“That's enough now, leave,” surprisingly, Pedro came in between and said to the lady, the lady didn't seem to like the idea of being kicked out. Olivia watched the two and knew the lady was the same one in the picture. Did this mean she was Pedro's girlfriend?
“Ouch,” she hissed in pain, raising her hand and blood was coming out from her palm. Immediately, Pedro turned around and saw what was happening.
“Dammit,” Olivia muttered, ignoring the agony she was going through. There was a broken glass which slit her palm when she tried to pick up the things.
“How can you be so careless… don't move,” Pedro said, stopping her from doing anything? Olivia ignored him and attempted to stand when he scooped her into his arms, surprising not just her but the lady. Olivia had a small glimpse of the lady and her expression was deadly.
“I'm okay, I can take care of it” she muttered when Pedro placed her on the mattress and adjusted her comfortably.
“Don't move your hand,” he remarked and walked away, heading to the bathroom. The entire time, Olivia was thinking, Pedro was never this caring or gentle. Just to think he didn't look so pleased finding her in his room, but now he was acting all gentle.
“Who do you think you are… this is my room, not yours… Now get out!” The lady checked forward and said when Pedro disappeared into the bathroom. Olivia looked at her with a lazy expression.
“You are the imposter here… I don't care who you are, and I'm not leaving from here,” Olivia remarked nonchalantly and leaned back to the pillows. The woman was fuming in rage, her heavy breathing was enough to murder anyone.
“I see… it seems he has given his little sluts so much freedom… how pathetic you are,” the lady remarked sarcastically, Olivia didn't reply but kept quiet “I'm only saying this once, get your ass out of this room bitch!” The lady growled, grabbing Olivia's bleeding hand, and was about to drag her out of bed.
“That's enough, Corina, get the fuck out!” Pedro's deep, angry voice made both women turn toward the bathroom. Olivia winced in pain when the woman tightened the grip on her bleeding hand.
“Really?” Corina said in disbelief as she stepped backwards, her eyes shone with hate directed at Olivia.
“Is she so important as me… she should be the one to leave not me,”
“Get out,” Pedro ordered coldly, giving nothing away, after a long staring contest which dripped holes if it could. The lady stormed away and left the room with a loud bang on the door. Looking up, Olivia saw Pedro holding a first aid box.
“I can do it myself,” she didn't want any help from him. The fact that he came back with some bitch who talked anyhow to her triggered some nerves.
“Don't be stubborn, you're hurt,” he muttered and grabbed her hand gently, Olivia averted her eyes from him, she couldn't stand him one bit. After he was done tending to her and bandaging her hand. He placed the first aid box away and discarded the used cotton.
“Who is she?” The first question after a while, Olivia kept her head turned away as she waited for a reply.
“No one,” the man replied right away, Olivia didn't buy the answer and hence turned to look at him.
“Where do I stand in this?” She muttered, glancing up at him, trying to find the answer in her eyes. Pedro had his head lowered, something about him was off. Olivia tilted her head and her eyes fell on the photos of the lady and Pedro scattered on the floor. The content already gave her the answer. She was about to leave when Pedro shoved her down.
“If you hate sharing, trust me, I despise it…” Olivia muttered, reaching for his face, her hand was bandaged yet with lightness, and she used her thumb to caress his beard. Their eyes locked.
“I'm crazy, can you stay with me,” Pedro murmured, his words barely heard, however, Olivia heard him loud and clear? His eyes seemed desperate, as if searching for something. “Whatever happens from now on don't leave me… ever,” he whispered and connected their foreheads, his breathing had increased so much that even the hand on her face had turned cold. Olivia felt him trembling. What was happening to him?
“Is everything okay, what's going on here,” she asked, trying to pry him off her, but the man ended up snuggling against her chest burying his face deep. Olivia was rendered speechless. The man was acting strange.
“D-don't… don't leave me,” he kept mumbling as his grip on her tightened, by now Olivia was a hundred percent certain something serious was going on. Pedro was a strange man, a few minutes ago he was angry seeing her. But he was acting like a scaredy-cat.
It didn't take long before the man in her arms fell asleep. Olivia managed to make him lie on the left side of the bed. Adjusted a few pillows so he could be comfortable.
“Your world is mysterious,” she muttered after taking off his jacket, shoes and covering him up. Olivia exhaled and decided to leave the man, however just as she was about to go, he grabbed her hand stopping her from going. His grip tightened, Olivia scanned his face and he was sweating, shivering and tossing.
“No, don't… I… I won't… I can't…leave me,” the man was mumbling in his sleep and fidgeting, kicking his legs. Olivia grew worried and climbed back on the bed.
“Pedro, what's wrong?” She tried to wake him up, but unfortunately, he was just tossing and kicking while saying gibberish.
“Stop it… I can't rape her… Stop it now… leave me,” The man kept saying and shouted startling Olivia, by now her hands were shaking as she watched Pedro, he was having a nightmare.
“Shh,” Olivia muttered while caressing his face wiping away the liquid dripping down. He didn't stop until after some time passed. He relaxed and went still.
“Nightmare or…” Olivia was utterly confused, the strength to leave left her as she sat there watching over Pedro. Sometimes she wondered what exactly was going on. Only if she had a clue, at least she would try to figure something out.

“You two think I'll spare him, or have you forgotten what I can do,” Corina said shrewdly, her cat-like eyes darted from Zane then to Gabby. The kitchen had become hot from tension.
“Corina, times have changed… you better keep yourself in check… no one is afraid of you, “Gabby snarled, glaring at her. A sarcastic laugh came from Corina, who detached herself from the kitchen counter she was leaning on and straightened up.
“You all better watch it, or have you forgotten, huh… I might have been in prison but please keep in mind who your master is… because I can be very unforgiving,” she said, glaring at them. Zane kept quiet, however the way his nails dug on the steel knife he was hiding would frighten anyone.
“No one fears you, don't you dare hurt him or…”
“Or else what huh, I'm his doctor aren't I… the woman who can keep him under control and destroy him completely… if I want I'll make sure he goes completely crazy and murder all of you!” She cut Zane off with a slam of her hand on the table. Zane was fuming in anger and so was Gabby, but both men kept their anger in check.
“A pathetic doctor you mean, haven't you damaged him enough… What more do you want to achieve?” Zane said, hating the sight of her, he felt nausea looking at her.
“He's mine, I came for him because our love story is incomplete,” Corina smirked proudly with a click of her tongue.
“He doesn't want you, I'm sure you saw the woman whom he cares for upstairs … sorry to break it to you… but you have no place here,”
“That little bitch, get rid of her or else… all of you will have to watch him do the worst thing here… Zane, don't you forget what my mom did for you and him… you should be thankful I'm even being nice here,” Corina said coldly, her eyes dripping with venom as she picked up an apple from the basket before tossing it back. Corina left the kitchen leaving the men angered. Zane punched the nearest thing to him while Gabby sat down helplessly. Corina was Pedro's old psychologist, not just that but much more. Zane hated the day she would get out of jail knowing she was bad news. Having her around was dangerous to Pedro's mental health.
"Where are you going?" Gabby asked when Zane slammed the knife on the counter and was about to leave.
"To Talk to Olivia," saying that Zane left.
