Chapter 91 Familiar kiss
“So she can come as she wants, right?” Olivia asked Zane in amusement. She was thankful to Pedro for letting Sydney know about her. She was worried he would lock her up like Solange, but he surprised her.
“She's at my place, if you don't mind,” Zane said while leaning against the closet door and watching Olivia packing clothes in a small bag.
“Good but don't take advantage of her, please Zane,” she pleaded in between chuckles, knowing how horny Zane was. The man just chuckled and lowered to pick up a small house key which dropped from Olivia's purse.
“May I know why the lady is packing her clothes,” Zane asked, scanning the key. Olivia stopped what she was doing and placed the bag on the couch.
“Well, this place is horrible… I'm taking him somewhere,” Olivia said with a light exhale, she was exhausted from working out a few moments ago. Zane came looking for her, asking when she'd be meeting Sydney. But with the issues going on, she preferred to keep Sydney away
“Why, I may know?” Zane asked, wondering why Olivia was being nice, with Corina around. He feared what would happen.
“I feel like I owe him, I can't be selfish, Zane…” it was difficult to overlook the fact that something was wrong with Pedro. Not to make the issue big, however, she felt obliged and wanted to help.
“Corina is a psychologist… I'm sure."
“Was she involved with him intimately,” Olivia although the truth was bitter to know? The pictures she saw in Pedro's room were enough to tell her everything. The woman's behavior added to her suspicions.
“We thought she was the one to help Pedro overcome everything he went through… she was a doctor back then, despite being a student and young… she was patient with Pedro,” Zane explained, although he had no right to tell Pedro's childhood to Olivia. He still felt obliged to explain the issue to Corina. Olivia was insecure, knowing her real relationship with Pedro had taken a huge turn.
“Zane what was his childhood like… I want to know because all this isn't normal,” with what she noticed, Pedro needed help. No wonder he never allowed her in his bedroom. To know he also never spent full nights with her. The last time they slept together, he left in the middle of the night. She wanted to ask why but dropped the idea.
“I can't say anything, but let's just say Antonia contributed to it… all you should know is the Garcias need to suffer tenfold… “
“Then why did he wait for so long huh… he's powerful and can get rid of them,” it was a question which bothered her greatly, to know a powerful man like Pedro would just snap his fingers to end the Garcias. But with the looks of things he seemed to be stalling.
“Let's just say, he's bound by a promise, his mom made him promise not to stain his hands with blood,” Zane said, lowering his gaze. Everything was a mess in Pedro's life. He wanted revenge against the Garcias but every time he stopped knowing he promised his mom not to stain his hands with blood.
Olivia was keen to know more. But Zane refused to talk, after a while, Zane left the room and Olivia went back to packing.
So much for dealing with mafias. The man had issues. Olivia was done with her packing when she received a message from someone unexpected.
Narrowing her eyes, it was from Luciano requesting for them to meet. The man begged and said he wanted to ask for forgiveness. Olivia didn't know what to do, but after thinking about it. She decided to meet him. That way she would know exactly how he was suffering with Antonia acting like a lunatic and Solange missing. She was certain that Luciano was suffering.
“And where are you going?” Ira asked as soon as a beautifully dressed Olivia descended the stairs. “Woah, the lady looks dashing… does the prince know that you are going out?” This time Gabby said, laughing mischievously.
“I called him, apparently his phone is off… I'm going out,” Olivia already tried calling Pedro, but the man was not answering, according to Zane. Pedro was out on some business work.
“When he comes back, tell him to wait for me… we have somewhere to go,” she said, walking away. Ira just shrugged and decided to have some rest.

“You don't know, Lu, are you for real… is this a joke to you?” Antonia shouted angrily at her son. Luciano had gotten out of hand. His wife was missing, everyone was worried about Solange's disappearance. Even her father was threatening the Garcias if his daughter wasn't found.
“She never tells me anything… mom, I have to go now,” Luciano said while attempting to wear his wristwatch. He had a date, not sure if he could call it that. However, he was happy to know Livia agreed to meet him.
“What's wrong with you, Lu, she's your wife… the mother of your child, for goodness's sake!” Antonia yelled, feeling frustrated, her son was being a pain in the neck. Solange was missing, no one knew where she was. Her father is already working with the police to find his daughter.
“I don't care what happens to that woman… don't bother me, Antonia,” Luciano had no time for them, hence took his coat and left the mansion. He has had enough of his mom ordering him around.
His goal now was getting Livia, knowing her more. This was his last opportunity to convince her that what he felt for her wasn't just a one-time thing. But the connection was too strong and familiar. He couldn't neglect the fact that he kissed her in the elevator. He felt a longing, a certain calmness he had never felt for any other woman apart from Olivia. Why did kissing Livia Gonzalez feel like he was kissing Olivia? Luciano was confused, but he was going to get answers. And when he arrived at the restaurant where he asked to meet her. The manager received him.
“Is everything done?”Luciano asked while getting out of the car and adjusting his coat. The manager closed the door and nodded with a low bow.
“This way sir,” the manager guided him down the path leading to an exclusive garden.
Just as, Luciano disappeared. A black SUV drove through the driveway and stopped at the entrance. The car door opened and Corina walked out dressed in a black dress.
“You owe me Pedro… at least I deserve this dinner don't I?” She said seductively when Pedro held her hand and helped her step out gracefully. Pedro didn't utter a word but led her towards the entrance of the restaurant. He just hoped Olivia wouldn't be upset. She told him she had a surprise, but unfortunately, he had to turn it down for Corina.
