Chapter 92 What his heart wants
“I'm so sorry, I didn't think the garden would be in such a bad state,” Luciano said apologetically and helped Olivia sit. He thought it would make dinner with her private and romantic. He had made reservations at the most exclusive restaurant. Unfortunately, they said some man bought the entire thing.
And now they had to get inside the restaurant, the restaurant had two outlets. The second floor had nicely arranged tables, one could see what was going on down. Luciano chose the one below. He said it was more peaceful. Hence, they took a table which was more suitable for the occasion. Far away from the noise and the rest of the people having their meals.
“It's okay,” Olivia said, adjusting herself comfortably. It was difficult to believe that the man before her did all the bad things to her family.
“Here you go, what will you have,” the waiter serving them said after serving them some appetizers. Luciano didn't know what he wanted and hence glanced at Olivia, who picked up the menu.
“I'll have what she'll have?” He said with his most charming smile, he didn't even look at the menu but placed it back on the table and waited for Livia to decide. Only Olivia felt like the first time he took her on a date. Even ordering food, he always asked for his opinion.
“Anything is fine,” she didn't feel so good, especially when she hated Luciano, and he was acting all lovey and Dovey. Nothing would bring back the d times, although that feeling. That tiny part of her still recalled the beautiful moments she spent with him.
“Please get us the best your restaurant can offer,” Luciano said to the waiter, who nodded and walked away. “So, it's been a while… I…”
“You shouldn't have done what you did in the elevator,” Olivia cut him off and said coldly, taking a sip of the champagne, her gaze was cold and distant. Luciano adjusted comfortably in his seat and stared at her.
“I have zero regrets, Livia… I did what my heart wanted… I want you, Livia, just give me a chance to show you how much you've become special to me,” Luciano said in his heartfelt speech, extending his arm, he reached for Olivia's hand which she placed on the table. A familiar sensation between them was undeniably strong. Rising from his chair, he leaned forward, ignoring the people around them, and cupped her face. Olivia was still seated. Tension was rising between them, her heart was thumping loudly.
“Luciano, I think this was a bad idea… you said…”
“I don't care what you think of me.” Luciano cut her off with a kiss, cupping her face. He pulled her closer to take more of her. Olivia knew this was a bad idea, and hence pushed him away before things got worse.
“I shouldn't have come here,” picking up her purse, Olivia rose to her feet and was about to leave.
“Please don't…” she stopped, but not by Luciano's words. But what she was seeing was happening right before her eyes.
“What?” She was in disbelief, seeing Pedro with Corina sitting together like a couple from across the large room. It was a little hidden, with him sitting in his lap shaking herself was the bitch he brought to the house. Anger boiled within her. The way she was playing with his face and hair and arms shamelessly.
“Are you okay,” Luciano stood beside her, following her gaze. He saw what was happening. Not sure why, but he felt overwhelmed.
“Umm, maybe we should go somewhere…” Luciano stuttered, glancing over at Olivia. She looked hurt and disappointed, the anger in her eyes was something familiar, but he chose to take her away. To protect his date from Pedro.
“No… on second thought, let's have a blast… I'm hungry… we came here for dinner right,” Olivia blurted out, turning to look at him, the smile plastered on her face had Luciano wondering why she was suddenly acting lively.
“If it's no…”
“Come sit… and tell me more about yourself,” she dragged him to his chair and shoved him down. To make things more interesting, she dragged her chair from its original position and placed it closer to Luciano.
“You don't look okay?”
“I don't care, let's eat,” Olivia waved him off just as the waiter brought them dinner.

“Stop it now,” Pedro said and shoved Corina off his lap; she nearly fell but grabbed the edge of the table for support. Anger boiled within her as she sat back in her chair.
“Things were never like this between us… I was your favorite…,” Corina was irritated. She spent four good years in prison for him, and now she came out, and he was cutting her out, “no matter how many women you invite to your bed… I'm the only one who takes the pain away, I'm the only one who knows what your heart desires, not her”
“Things have changed… Do you think your little family is still in charge… your bitch of a mother still runs this business?” Pedro asked, glaring at her. His aura and demeanor were frightening, his devilish expression would frighten anyone, but not her. Crossing her legs elegantly. Corina played with her straw and took a sip of her cocktail.
“Is this about that bitch, that little slut who doesn't even come close to what I have, “Corina spat out bitterly, he never came to visit her while in prison? He was neglecting her, and all thanks to a new toy he found.
“Watch what you say, I'm only keeping your little brother alive just for the sake of it,” Pedro wanted with a deadly glare. Corina rolled her eyes in annoyance and ate her food.
“She will never want you, Pedro, I'm the only woman who understands you… I'm the only one since we were little who knows the pain you go through,” Corina muttered, leaning towards him, only a table separated her from him “like I always said, no one in this world cares about you as I do… even Olivia will never love you… she'll betray you and leave you just like they all do,” she added and cupped his face. Her sharp eyes bore into his “I'm the only woman Pedro, if you think I'm lying… then see for yourself,” saying that she turned his head, moved a little to the left and guided him to see what was happening. Pedro's gaze fell on the familiar woman from afar. Dressed in a beautiful dress.
“Is that her ex-lover… the man you are trying so hard to protect her from… they are kissing now, next she's going to have sex with…” Corina didn't even finish her sentence when Pedro used a lot of strength and pushed her away, Corina lost balance and ended up falling on the floor.
“How dare she!” Pedro growled, kicking away the table such that everything on it shattered to the floor. The bottles and plates and everything splashed all over, getting people's attention, including Luciano and Olivia, who soon realized where they were. “How dare she!” Anger boiled within Pedro as he took out his gun. The people seated close scattered away, seeing the raging man.
Corina was angry that he got jealous and possessive towards another woman, but she knew the outcome would be music to her ears.
“How dare you!” In long strides, Pedro reached where Luciano and Olivia were. Luciano shoved Olivia behind him and came face to face with Pedro.
“Stop it now… get the hell away!” Olivia yelled, irritated with Pedro.
“Shoot me if you dare… but she's mine," Luciano remarked coldly, his eyes shone with rage as he kept a protective arm on Olivia.
Olivia feared for her life seeing an angry insane Pedro, he was likely to do something crazy.
