Still had the nerve!
Aubrianne Ivanov
"Wait, WHAT NOW, RON IS HERE?" Jada yelled. She did not mean to, but she could not believe she had not gotten the opportunity to make him suffer.
Aubrianne sighed and relaxed on the couch, watching Jada as she was not fazed by Jada's outburst. She knew it was directed at Ron and not her. Jada wanted to get her hands on him badly, and now Aubrianne understood precisely what Jada was capable of.
Or at least what she had the power to do!
"Yes, he is. He came at me in the bathroom..."
Jada was rummaging through her bag rather aggressively, looking for her phone, when she flew up and off the couch, her hands flailing, "WHAT?"
"Jada, please calm down. I am ok." Aubrianne pleads as Jada is getting worked up.
"I can't, Aubrianne. He almost KILLED you under MY watch." Jada's voice cracked while she paced, her face contorted in a grimace as she rubbed her temples as if rubbing away a painful memory.
She quickly became enraged again, and now Aubrianne realized how much Jada had been hiding from her, or maybe it was because she had turned into her wolf and her senses were different.
But an angry Jada had a fire-red hue that glowed brightly around her! Aubrianne had seen Jada angry many times, and never once had she seen this aura, this ray.
Aubrianne knew Jada would not calm down until she saw that Aubrianne was ok.
"He followed you here, Aubrianne," Jada said, sounding like she was putting two and two together to get four.
"Ok, look, can't you see?" Aubrianne got up and spun, untieing her robe for Jada's sake. She showed Jada, then allowed Jada to inspect her closely so Jada could relax.
"He did not harm me," Aubrianne confirms.
"Again!" That was all Jada said.
Aubrianne now thought she should have rethought her decision to tell only Jada, especially knowing how Jada felt about Ron. But Jada was her person, plus she needed to tell someone, right?
And it certainly would not be her father, Daniel, or even Mr. Grey.
Ergo Aubrianne further reassured Jada some more, "Kirrah had arrived in the washroom not long after, so he was interrupted. Nothing happened ok, and he ran away. Besides, Leia is not worried about Ron right now anyway."
"Yes, I am sure he did like the f**king coward he is. He truly is a bastard!" Jada sneered.
Calming down and sitting next to Aubrianne again on the couch, Jada looked at her and regarded her for a few seconds as she formulated a plan, then finally said, "I am going to call John."
It was her duty to protect Aubrianne, and it was also Shawn's. She had already failed once. She won't do it again. She grabbed her bag with her phone and walked outside with a murderous glint in her eyes and that pulsing red glow following her.
Jada did not want Aubrianne to see her like that.
Ten minutes later, Jada returned. No hue.
She had simply told Aubrianne that Shawn was on his way and that he should be there by Sunday after he made his preparations. He needs to be here with you, Aubrianne, by your side as your wolf protector. She had said, leaving no room for discussion.
Aubrianne had asked her about John, and she had said John would come into play when we get the bastard.
Aubrianne thought for a moment, then relented. She knew Shawn would eventually need to be by her side. The thought of both of them uplifting their lives because of her.
Jada was already here because of her. It turned out. It weighed on her. That is why she procrastinated on that matter concerning Shawn!
Shawn's wolf was probably acting up now that he knew and would be antsy about getting to her.
Nevertheless, she thought, gosh, enough of this! Now that she had dampened the mood with Ron, Aubrianne, desperately needing to leave Ron behind her and not get Jada all riled up again, plus Shawn, now uplifting his life for her, stared the conversation back at Daniel.
She felt it would be a welcome distraction for Jada and herself. She was willing to get back on that track when she wanted to get off of it earlier.
"Ok, so moving on, to answer your earlier question, there is nothing going on between Daniel and me, nor will there ever be anything between us except our imprint.." pausing to be dramatic, she hurried on with, "Only if I decide to throw myself at him again."
She laughed at Jada's shocked facial expression. Her mouth hung open, wide-eyed.
"Gosh, I am kidding. I would not be throwing myself at Daniel, Jada, you know me!" Aubrianne laughs.
"Well, girl!" Jada had touched her chest, and her facial expression said, 'Girl, are you mad? We don't run down, men.'
While she actually said, "I wanted to know what the hell was going on with you, that you would throw yourself at him again after he rejected your advances!"
But a blush graced her features as she recalled how she was in the middle of threatening Mr. Grey at the club for the D before he had rammed into her so good.
That f*cker still had the nerve to try and refuse her!
Jada almost moaned out loud at the thought of how the D had felt at that particular moment and how her pvssy could not get enough!
"You are surely right. I was just kidding, so how were your night and day, missy?" Aubrianne says, winking her eyes, obviously observing her friend's features, like what raunchy thought Jada just had?
"Oh goodness, don't do that. You look crazy!" Jada responded to Aubrianne's wide-eyed eyebrows going up and down look as she tried to pull off a smirk simultaneously.
They giggled, and Jada jumped right in, filling Aubrianne in on all the events, and Aubrianne was relieved that the distraction worked. Her friend was no longer stressing about Ron.
Jada was now eagerly sharing the tea on her and Mr. Grey's sexcapades that Aubrianne was relaxing, living vicariously through Jada right now.
They had at least two hours to relax before preparing for the dinner quickly approaching. And just like that, Aubrianne's nerves slowly crept in about that dinner.
Regardless, Aubrianne had clung to Jada's every word, trying to focus on all Jada's antics, so her mind would not wander and stress too much about dinner.
Leia had offered her words of encouragement throughout, letting her know that they would be fine, that their father loved them, and that he got their back.
And that Aubrianne could agree with. Since the night her dad left, he had been calling and checking up on her every day, and today, when she had spoken to him while eating, he had reassured her that everything would be fine and that she should not worry.
Aubrianne was terrified. She did not know how her father's family would respond to her. This dinner was all about her. She would be the center of attention.
She had thought about her spoilt brothers and their reaction, and then his wife, Aubrianne, wondered if the wife would accept her into their family.
However, she would prepare herself for the worst as she always does in situations she is about to face that scare her.
She always prepares for the worst-case scenarios off the bat, overthinking and rethinking everything so she would not be surprised should things go haywire.
Jada was always against that. She believed Aubrianne worked herself up too much, and the end result? Yea, it was always for nothing.
So this time, Aubrianne had not brought up her anxiety about meeting the family, and she did not plan on doing so. For once, she wanted to be there for Jada.
The way Jada always supported her, and she did not want to bring down the mood again! Because right now, Jada was gushing over Mr. Grey. She was really enjoying herself there.
"Ivan," Jada had corrected herself and blushed like a mad woman! Jada did not know if he had enjoyed her screaming Ivan last night or if he felt Mr. Grey was getting too formal, but he suddenly requested she starts calling him by his first name, Ivan.
Aubrianne was also happy when Jada mentioned she was thinking about putting down roots and finally opening up her small business.
Jada thought it was time she finally opened up her One Stop beauty boutique, and Aubrianne was thrilled and so proud. She knew how hard Jada worked and saved to accomplish her dreams.
Jada had been planning this for a few years; she had gone to college and studied business before Aubrianne majored in Accounting.
Jada had graduated with honors, which is why she was so strict regarding Aubrianne and her education...
