The Dinner – Bloody Supreme! - 6
Aubrianne Ivanov
Another thing that was bothering Christen was Aubrianne's Aura. Her Aura was too potent. One thing she knew was that she had never met a wolf quite like her before.
Not to mention the way her younger son's weaker wolf keeps behaving. Like she was bloody supreme.
Then she thought sarcastically, 'Of...f*cking...course, let me guess, I am sure she was some special kind of f*cking breed too. Yes, more things to sit and listen to my husband gloat about. Yippee, I am so excited.'
Aubrianne's mother was a witch, after all, and HER husband is a wolf.
Goddess, everything about this was annoying the life out of Christen.
Or was all this because of the fact that she was married to a man who could not move on from a dead woman?
When Theo came home from his trip, he was overjoyed to find his daughter, but he went into a deep depression at the news that her mother was dead.
In the auditorium that day, Theo had secretly hoped he would see her. That was before talking to Aubrianne, only to find out that Athalia was dead.
Nevertheless, Christen had sat back and watched her husband mourn another woman while she celebrated the news that the woman was no more.
She had thought this would finally be the end of it, but by the looks of things, she was beginning to wonder if he would ever see her as his wife and start acting like it.
Things were a lot better when his father was around. That man used to keep him in line.
"What kind of wolf do you have?" Christen, seemingly, asked out of nowhere.
She suddenly needed to know. She was curious, and besides, if that was something to gloat about, then they might as well get all the gloating and doting out in one night.
Before Aubrianne could answer, "I am sorry, what now?" Theo said sternly, clearing his throat. Suddenly, his jaw ticked three times.
Theo would not let anyone with cruel intentions come near her. He did not want the truth about Aubrianne's wolf getting out because the scum of the earth would come out of their rotting holes for a chance at redemption.
Claiming the prized white wolf. Not even his wife!
And Theo was not stupid to not notice his wife's behavior the past year, and a jealous woman is a dangerous woman. He was not saying she would do anything. All he was doing was taking precautions.
"Oh, honey, it's just that the power emanating from her is unnatural for a wolf that only recently had her first shift," Christen spoke with her voice in a soothing and caring tone, almost like she was cooing.
This was the second time her power was brought up tonight; Aubrianne was shocked because she had learned from her mother's diary with Jada's help, of course, that it helped dampen her powers.
So her Aura would be less potent.
This is why Aubrianne was surprised to hear this from Christen. She had assumed by looking at Tobias that his wolf was simply weaker.
She also wanted to know if her father told Christen everything because she knew it was her first shift. But her latter question was soon answered when her father said this.
"That's the Alpha in her, and she just might be the strongest one yet, her father's daughter indeed." Theo gushed.
And on cue, Aubrianne turned to red-hot chili pepper. She smiled from ear to ear. "Dad? Stop!" She knew what he said was only half the truth but could not help it.
"Oh, I see," Christen answered, but somehow she did not buy it. Well, her wolf did not! Her wolf Dove had said something about Divine, and Christen had locked her away.
She'd be damned if she had to listen to her wolf faun over Aubrianne as well. I shall not!
Aubrianne blushed, then sighed, realizing her father did not even trust his wife with the information of her being a white wolf.
But goodness gracious, he was only praising her the entire dinner. Aubrianne panicked as the thought formed in her mind. Now they would hate her more than ever.
Now that she was thinking about it, she had been getting looks from the eldest and Christen. Timothy's eyes were clear as day, showing Aubrianne he was annoyed and did not want to be there.
However, Christen was a little better at putting on a show.
"Where did Dad go? Did you see?" Daniela asked Daniel, suddenly rising from her chair. She would use the opportunity to find him and check on him.
Daniela also wanted to find out what was going on with him tonight. He looked...
She could not quite put her fingers on it.
"Oh, he'd stepped out to handle a call for me." Theo instantly spoke up, catching Daniela's and Daniel's chatter. "He would be back shortly."
"Oh, ok." Daniela sat back down. Well, in that case, she would not disturb him.
Theo had wondered how many times Ivan covered for him with his dad. It was nothing for him to do the same, plus he was happy that Ivan was enjoying himself. He was always so tense and work-driven.
But he knew that was a coping mechanism when Ivan had lost his wife, one that never changed.
Theo amusingly thought, well, now he might be getting more requests from Ivan for time off, then wondered how good of an idea this was, to begin with, on second thought.
Mr. Ivan Grey...
When Ivan had first seen Jada earlier, his heart thundered. She was captivating, still glowed radiantly in his eyes, and looked sophisticated tonight.
He wanted to rip off that sundress she wore and explore every inch of that perfect body of hers. Ivan also wondered if she wore panties, as he knew she had a knack for not wearing any.
Goddess, how was he going to function through this dinner?
It was like being tortured live for the world to see. Especially how Jada had eaten those croissants, taking it all in her mouth in one go. He was amused at her behavior and turned on at the same time.
The way her lips puckered, or her eyes rolled back in her head at something that tasted delicious, the little moans his wolf hearing picked up that he knew all too well. Even though it was a softer moan.
She was all he could think of.
Ivan had continuously watched her throughout the dinner as it was difficult to look away, and she had stolen some glances at him, too, which he was pleased about.
When she had gotten up and excused herself, he had almost flown off his seat to run behind her; it was taking every bit of strength that he had to at least sit still for a few minutes.
Ivan did not know how long he had managed to hold out for, but he knew he could not wait another minute to simply touch her, hold her, squeeze her voluptuous curves, and round a$$.
Goddess, those thick legs, he quickly thought of pulling out his phone, giving the appearance that it was a simple call, and the next thing he knew, he was pelting down the corridor sniffing out her scent like a mad bloodhound.
Ivan found her outside, in the empty pool house. "What are you doing all the way out here?" He asked curiously.
"Praying to the Goddess that you will come find me," she purred one second, and they were on each other the next.
Jada was eager for this since she saw him walk in, looking dashingly and handsomely rugged with his fresh haircut, beard, and mustache marked and trimmed perfectly.
And it was doing some things to her lower region.
The way his eyes smiled as they had stolen one too many glances her way, but if he was not concerned, then she should not be.
Jada had no choice but to stuff her face in an attempt to keep her mind busy, keeping it off Ivan's thick meat pounding into her and instead focusing on the mouth-watering treats.
Then she breathed a sigh of relief when Aubrianne asked to eat and talk because her pastries were finished, and she did not want to dive into her meal before everyone else.
When the fifth course came out, Jada was stuffed and could not go on anymore, leaving her mind open to Ivan's meat again.
That was her last straw. F*ck it. She would go to the bathroom and hope to the Divine Moon Goddess that her meat found her.
She had decided to roam out the back door that Theo showed them. She figured it must lead to one of the many houses or amenities on this property she saw on their drive in.
Jada knew deep down she was getting attached, but was it more than the d1ck?
Without that, would she still be this way, roaming the vast yard of a strange property at night, looking for a secluded spot to get her rocks off with Ivan, or constantly thinking about him so often when he was not around her?
