The Dinner – No Time! – 7
Aubrianne Ivanov
Jada and Ivan were hungrily kissing and attacking each other. Jada had done her thing, and her dress lay neatly on the sofa while being careful not to rip Ivan's clothes off.
She remained in her brassiere.
Ivan's hand slid up her thighs and palms her heat, quickly slipping a finger in, and his body trembled with need at the feel of her wet, dripping c*nt as her juices ran down his fingers "Goddess, so wet for me." he groaned into the kiss as if strained and in pain as his shaft hardened in his pants.
His length was straining against his zipper and dying to be released to find its way into her depths.
Soon enough, they were a panting and moaning mess, carrying on like they had been away from each other's presence for years. There was no time for foreplay. Ivan was in Jada in an instant.
At the dinner table...
The group was all laughing and chatting away loudly. Aubrianne was a bit more relaxed as a good ten minutes had passed, and her father had eased up on the praises to her utmost relief.
Daniel had also taken his opportunity to scoot over closer to Aubrianne into Jada's vacant seat, "Hey, is Jada ok?" Daniel asked, just as a way of starting the conversation and the fact that he was now in her seat.
Aubrianne already guessed as it did not take a genius to figure it out. Ivan followed Jada. She knew the two would not be returning soon, at least not for the next twenty minutes, and she had wondered if her father also knew because she loved how he handled Daniela.
Now she was about to do the same with Daniel, "She complained about stomach aches. I think she ate too much. Did you see her getting down on those croissants?"
Everyone saw the way Jada was getting down on those croissants. Even Daniel and his features turned to one of understanding.
Daniel wanted a moment to talk to Aubrianne to tell her all he had not gotten the chance to do this morning when she was asleep. He knew now certainly was not the time amongst all these sharpened ears.
But he can definitely ask for some quiet time with her.
"What a night, huh?" Daniel asked.
'Seriously? Just shoot me now.' Cassius drawls.
'Would you shut up? I got this now, so you can stop your whining.' Daniel shut back. Cassius had been on Daniels's case since they arrived and even told him he should have switched his and Jada's names.
But Daniel did not take the bait because Mr. Thornton would obviously have known as this entire dinner was his doing.
Aubrianne sighed audibly, "Oh, that bad, huh?" Daniel spoke up before she answered.
Aubrianne knew right now she could not speak on how she truly felt about the night with these wolves around her and their heightened abilities like hers.
"It's alright. A little nervous, but better." Aubrianne beat around the bush in her answer.
Saying a lot and saying nothing at the same time.
Daniel reaches out and offers comfort, "It's the first time breaking the ice; I am sure the next would be much better."
Aubrianne could not see herself sitting through another one of these anytime soon. "You think?" But she did not mean for it to sound as sarcastic as it came out.
Daniel needed to talk to her but knew she was here to meet her father's family. He smiled, "Hey, I wanted to talk to you tonight, ok? When you get a chance, come find me?"
As such, he would continue to bide his time until she had a free moment away from her father.
And now he is sure he would reject his mate when he found her. It was not a matter of if he would anymore.
He was ready, his mind made up, no doubt.
"Hey everyone, can I have your attention for a brief moment," Theo spoke, his eyes sliding across those present, all except Jada and Ivan.
"Just a reminder that the invitations for the ball two weeks from tomorrow will be going out on Monday." Theo turned to address Kirrah and Brody next.
"Kirrah and Brody, ensure two guards are with Aubrianne at all times from Monday. When that invitation goes out, it will quickly become national news that I have a daughter, so if someone has gone completely insane and attempts to hit me where it hurts, let's be prepared."
"And what about your boys?" Christen spoke up. She had finally had it.
Theo watched her incredulously, eyebrows shut up, eyes surprised, while saying, "They have been with me for years, and no one has made any attempts on their lives to get to me. Why would they start now?"
"But.." Christen wanted to argue further, but Theo cut her off, "Besides, this is only because of the attention this ball would draw to Aubrianne, as it is about HER."
Theo decides to subtly remind his wife precisely who this was about. It was about Aubrianne and not Christen.
He then returned to his meal as if nothing had happened!
This party was already planned about two months after Theo met her. He needed something to keep him grounded and help him cope with having to leave her for a year.
And help with his grief.
Of course, he would have some adjustments to make as specific themes and décor have been played out by now, he needed a fresh take, but the steps were already mapped out for him perfectly.
"Hey, I am not feeling too good. I think I ate too much," Jada came up and spoke to Aubrianne, lightly clutching her stomach. However, it was as if she said it for the table to hear her.
Just loud enough for a wolf. Of course, Aubrianne reacted as she would if that was actually the case, "Oh no, do you need anything? How are you feeling now?" She sat up in her chair, turning her body to face her, concern written all over her features and body language.
Shaking her head side to side, Jada said, "No, there was, like, stuff for that in the washroom." Jada recalled seeing a small pharmacy in there.
Everything one might need for pain or upset stomach, muscle aches, cough, congestion, or fever. She even spotted that tiny drug used to help cut someone's diarrhea.
"Damn, hope you feel better,' Daniel inserted.
And as Jada took her seat, things returned to as they were before Theo's instructions. More chattering, and now Daniel, Aubrianne, and Jada were chatting when, ten minutes later, Mr. Grey walked in as if he was just wrapping up a phone call and ended it.
Daniela smiled warmly at her father, and as he returned to his seat, she asked him if he was ok. Daniela and her wolf Sephora also felt that their father acted a bit strange tonight.
They just could not quite put their fingers on it.
Sephora was the one who had brought it up first. Both Daniela and her wolf had bounced off ideas from each other as to what it could be.
Sephora felt like he was seeing someone. But she shut that thought down as it came because she had not smelled any female on him.
But, like, since when he sang loudly in the shower, his step had a particular pep to it, and tonight he had taken extra care with his grooming and getting ready.
That was the act to spike their curiosity; their dad was always a particular man regarding his clothing and accessories. However, he was never the type to stand in front of a mirror, checking himself out for more than half an hour.
When getting ready for this dinner, she glanced at him, checking himself out. She finished showering and got ready, then came back to check on him, and there he was, still checking himself out.
Flexing his body, strutting like a pea cock, what the f*ck was going on with Dad?
She stood there and watched him for six minutes before he noticed.
Her father was so caught up in checking himself out that he did not even sense her presence. What was all this about?
Did he have a date after this dinner? So maybe it was a woman!
Nevertheless, Ivan had assured Daniela that he was alright and not to worry, while Theo now looked at Daniel, Aubrianne, and Jada, but his eyes stayed between Daniel and Aubrianne, "Don't they look like a beautiful couple?"
Mr. Thornton asked Ivan, gesturing to Daniel and Aubrianne. "You know, if there is any man I would want my daughter with, it would be you, Daniel; too bad you are not her mate."
"Although fear not, my boy, I would not be making the same threats my father did to me, putting such pressure on Aubrianne to choose her mate. That decision is all up to her." Theo paused for a moment, letting that sink in.
