8. Luca
"We should go eat something if you are better now! And then we can stay home and watch tv if you do not want to go to the pack anymore. Whatever you choose, it will be ok for me."
"I want to go, but do you think they will like me? Or they will fear me too because I'm a hybrid?"
"Oh, Amaya! They will adore you! I'm sure of this." Leon said and got up, holding his hand out for me to take.
I looked at him for a second, and they took me, giving him a small smile.
"Thank you, Leon!"
"Always!" That was all he said before leading me downstairs.
"I made some eggs and bacon for us."
"Bacon? I never had that before."
"Here, try it!" He said and offered me a plate with some meat fille on it.
I grab one and bite hesitantly as I didn't know if I would like it.
"Mmm... so good! I want more! Please?"
He starts laughing and passes me all of it! This bacon was so yummy!
"So? How far is your pack, Leon?"
"We will do like an hour in wolf form and more than double in human form. So, I was thinking of taking the first option. Besides, it would be best if you bonded with your wolf. This is a great opportunity for you to do that."
"Ok! I agree. Should we go?" I ask, more excited than Ivy, who kept jumping up and down.
"Mm... eat more, and then we can go! Ah! Don't forget to grab some spare clothes. You know, just to put them on after you shift back. Not that you don't have a nice... a nice body... but... Just take some," He said, blushing a bit.
I checked and nodded my head, making him blush harder.
"You are so sweet, Leon! Thank you!"
He nods his head and gets up.
After we cleaned everything, I went to my room and picked up some clothes from the wardrobe.
"You ready?" I hear Leon ask from behind me As soon as I get back down the stairs.
"Uh? Oh, yeah! As ready as I can be." I said with a large smile on my face.
We shift in our beautiful wolves and start running through the forest. It feels so good.
I'm feeling so free.
Ivy asked me for control, and I gave it to her without hesitation. I know now that I can trust her with my life. We were one, a body with two souls.
A hare jumps in front of us, and she starts running after him playfully. Hitting him with the paw and letting him get up, but without hurting him. I found out that wolves won't kill for fun. They only kill the prey they need to survive.
Leon's wolf, Lix, barks at us a few times, letting Ivy know she was going in the wrong direction.
She barks back at him and jumps over him. I knew she wanted to play, so I let her.
Lix was now behind, trying to catch up with us.
So I pushed harder and went way ahead.
We couldn't see him, but we didn't stop. This feels too good.
Looking back for Lix, we didn't notice the wall in front of us. So the impact was pretty painful.
Getting up and shaking the leaves and dirt from my fur, I lifted my head to see that the wall wasn't a wall. A large brown wolf was bearing his canines at me. I do the same from instinct, and I get in a fighting position.
A moment later, another five wolves arrived. They were now surrounding me, all growling and pacing back and forth, ready to attack.
The brown wolf came closer and started sniffing the air, then suddenly shifted. I didn't look away from his naked body as I couldn't let him take advantage of me being shy. Besides, I already learned that nudity is something normal in this world.
"Who are you? Why did you smell like my brother?" The man asked.
I look at him as confused as a wolf could look. My head leans to the side, and I stop growling.
'What is he talking about?' I ask Ivy and try to figure out what he was saying. Then I noticed emerald green eyes.
He might be Leon's brother.
Just then, a familiar voice filled the air.
"Brother! I see you have already met Ivy and Amaya!" Leon shouts, coming from behind a tree.
"Leon? Brother! Is so good to see you here! Mom will be so happy!"
The men hug each other, and the other wolves nod their heads slightly before taking off.
"Amaya! You can shift!" Leon said, and I looked at him without moving.
"I mean, you can get behind that tree and shift," he said, chuckling, pointing to a big tree.
I run there and shift them and put on my clothes before getting back to them.
"Mm... hi?" I said to Leon's brother.
"Hi! You must be Amaya! I'm Luca! Nice to see my brother found his mate! But why didn't you mark her, Leon! I could have hurt her!" Luca said, hitting Leon in the shoulder.
"Mm...she is not my mate, Luca! She is just a friend. A special friend." Leon said, scratching the back of his head and looking at me apologetically.
"Oh... I'm so sorry then! Please, forgive me, Amaya! I thought..."
"No worries, Luca! Nice to meet you tho!" I said with a smile.
"I like your friend, brother! Mom will be so crazy about her! Now come on! Everyone will be so happy to see you back! Are you planning to stay this time?"
"I don't know, Luca! I still need to find her, my mate!"
"I understand! Come, Amaya! You need to meet Alpha Ricci. He is the Alpha King and the best Alpha that you will ever meet!"
"Mm... ok! Let's meet the Alpha, then!" I said, grabbing their hands.
'I'm starting to like this world better than mine, Ivy!'
