I love you

The doctor came and checked her. He said, "She is fine. We will observe her for a day. Then she can leave." Rose saw that Ash smiled. She loved his smile. Although she did not see him smile often, whenever he smiled her, heart skipped a beat. She was looking at him and moved her hand. Ash came to her. He asked, "What is it?" Rose tried to talk but coughed. Ash gently pulled her and made her sit. Then he urged her to drink water. She drank the water.

Rose said, "What happened to Alina? Is she alive?"

"No," Ash said.

Rose nodded. Rose wanted to ask more when she saw Ash was watching her. Rose asked, "What are you looking at?"

"You"

"Why?"

"Yes, why. Why did you save me? The bullet could kill you if it moved to the left. You would have died." Ash asked

"I don't care if I die," Rose said.

Ash's eyes got big. He said, "What do you mean?"

"I... I want to save you, that are all," Rose said. She looked down at her hand. She was looking at the cannula as if it was the most mysterious thing in the world.

"Rose, look at me," Ash commanded.

Rose slowly looked up. Ash touched her chin with two fingers and said, "What do you mean you don't care."

"Nothing. What I meant was I was trying to protect you."

"Even if it means for you to die?"

"Yes," Rose said.

"Are you stupid?" Ash asked.

Now Rose got angry. She said, "I am. I am stupid to save a pig like you."

Ash wanted to say more but Rose pushed his hand and moved far away from Ash. At least she tried to. But with her injured hand, she couldn't move an inch. Ash saw it and wanted to laugh. But he knew if he did then she would be angrier. And it was not good for her health. So he said something unexpected.

"I LOVE YOU"

Rose looked at him. She was dumbfounded by the sudden confession.

She said, "Pardon."

"I love you, Rose," this time Ash said firmly.

The pink shade was visible on Rose's cheeks. She was blushing. She asked, "Are you an idiot?"

Ash understood that she was mocking her and he readily agreed. He nodded and said, "Yes, I am crazily in love with you."

Rose laughed. Rose's shoulder hurt but she laughed.

"Okay, Okay, my Romeo, I understand that you love me," Rose said in between laughter.

Ash smiled.

"You look beautiful when you laugh," Rose said.

He felt like déjà vu. Then he remembered that when they went on their first date he said Rose looked beautiful when she smiled. Moreover, he asked her to keep smiling.

Ash said, "Copy cat."

Rose touched Ash's head. And said, "Ash, we must find happiness. We must know how to forgive each other. We must laugh truly. And for that, we must take some time."

Ash did not say anything. He knew what Rose meant by this. He knew they were in a toxic relationship. And to move on and have a better life they must break free from it.

"We will talk about it after we finish what we started," Ash said.

"Okay," Rose agreed. Then there was a knock. Ash said, "Come in."

Roy came inside.

"How are you, Rose?" Roy asked.

Rose felt hurt from it. All the time Roy called her sister-in-law. So when he called her Rose she felt hurt. But she pushed it aside. Because she was grateful, that Roy did not curse on her. Instead, he was polite.

"I am fine, Roy. How is Bella?"

Roy suddenly became awkward. Rose saw it and smiled in her mind. She had a feeling that this couple would soon fall for each other. Yes, it is true it will take some time but Rose wished them to be happy. They deserve it more than her.

"She is fine, just mood swings. She was moody in the morning. Only mom can precipitate her," Roy said.

"Bella must have been like your mother. She doesn't warm up to strangers."

"Yes, she was like that with me," even unknown to Roy, his voice carried sadness.

Ash also noticed it and looked at Rose. Both of them communicate through their eyes. Both knew that Roy and Bella would come to find happiness in each other. Ash slapped the back of Roy's and said, "Come on, don't be sad. She will warm up to you soon"

Roy blushed. It was amusing to see the boy blushing. But he looked cute.

Rose laughed hard and said, "My God, my shoulder hurts."

Ash immediately came near Rose and asked, "Should I call the doctor?"

"No need, it happened because I was laughing."

"Then stop laughing."

"How could I? When two boys are acting cute."

"When did I act cute?" Ash asked.

Rose laughed more to see his confusion. However, she stopped.

Ash sighed to see her behavior and said, "Childish"

Roy said, "Guys can I say something? Why when you two are together you totally forgot about me."

Ash whispered, "You will find out soon."

Roy asked, "Did you say something?"

"Nothing," Ash replied.

"Okay then, we has to go," Roy said.

Ash looked at the clock and said, "Yes it's time."

Rose remembered tonight they planned to attest Leo. Then she remembered that video. She said, "Ash, I have a video. There Leo raped a girl and later he killed her. I have it on my laptop. I mailed you but you did not check it. So I called you."

Ash said, "Really, then we can get him life improvements even the capital punishment which is a death sentence."

Rose nodded. He deserved it. Rose remembered the video. It almost made her puked. Ash opened his phone and checked the video. He said, "With this, we seal the deal with Leo."

Roy nodded.

"But we still need to catch him during drug dealing. Only it can hit John's company." Ash said.

Rose agreed with it. She said, "I didn't try to find my mother's location through her. Should I ask for help?"

"No, we don't know for sure who she is. Although she is your friend, right now we cannot trust anyone." Ash said.

"Yes, it can be dangerous. We need to be cautious," Roy said.

"Okay. I will wait for the good news," Rose agreed.

Then Ash and Roy discussed their plan. It was simple. Since they already informed the police, all they need to do is get Leo in that area and the police will do the rest.

They have the evidence to put Leo behind the bar but they need to pull John down. And for that Leo needs to be caught during the action.

They planned out and called the police. Then they call Leo. Leo said everything is prepared. They are ready to go. Ash got ready. Rose saw him and called, "Ash."

Ash looked at her. Ash saw anxiety in Rose's eyes. He came near her and kissed her forehead. He said, "Everything will be alright. I will save your mother."

"I know you can, but I want you to be safe too."

"I will be. I promise," Ash said.

Rose hugged him with all her strength. Then Roy came in and said, "Let's go."

Ash removed Rose's hand gently and said, "Wait for me."

"I will be waiting," Rose said.

After that, Ash and Roy left the hospital.

Rose prayed that everything would be okay. She prayed for their success.
