Chapter 8 I'm A Vampire

It had been a month since Jonathan had gone missing, and I had locked myself in my room. After he vanished, I had no desire to accomplish anything because I felt such a strong connection with him.

I decided to go to the club and get drunk because I was certain he would come to my rescue.

'If I get myself into trouble, Jonathan will undoubtedly come to save me.' I smiled like a mad person, thinking this because I had finally thought of a crazy way to get Jonathan back. At that time, I was willing to go to any length to get him back in my life.

I reached the club as planned and immediately began drinking. My head began to spin, everything became blurry, and I left the club.

I was waddling down the deserted roads, looking for trouble for myself. It was late at night, and there was no one around.

I noticed a jeep approaching, and inside were two men who looked like goons and were completely wasted. When I saw them, a grin flashed on my face because I could finally get myself into trouble.

Jonathan would undoubtedly arrive, I was hundred percent sure. My heart was telling me that he would certainly come, that’s why I was willing to put myself in terrible danger without any fear.

When I came in front of their jeep, the driver immediately applied the brakes.

I felt like killing them as they ogled me shamelessly, but I composed myself by taking a deep breath and clutching my hands. "I have to get home because my car broke down," I asked for the lift indirectly, knowing they would take advantage of my state. I'd gone completely insane.

They exchanged smirks as they looked at each other. I knew it was extremely dangerous for me, but I was confident that Jonathan would show up. I had no idea when I had become so daring. I was astounded by myself.

"What's the harm, madam? We'll drop you off at home safely, so come sit." The other man asked me to sit beside him in the backseat, and despite knowing their evil intentions, I sat with him without thinking about the consequences. They both smiled evilly at each other.

"Can you please tell me where you're taking me?" I inquired because they were driving through a dense forest.

"How is Jonathan going to come here and save me?" I wondered, nervously fiddling with my fingers, and my heart began to pound with fright.

“Shit! Why did I have to get myself into such trouble? What am I going to do now?" I murmured, sweating because I was terrified.

"Don't play dumb, little doll; you know what we want from you. We will safely drop you off at home after our work?" The man next to me spoke in an evil tone, rubbing his hand on my thigh and leering at me. Another man halted the jeep in the middle of the forest. Fear gripped me as I gulped the lumps down my throat.

"Take her out. I think this is the right place and right time." The man driving the car ordered him to get me out of the car, and the other man dragged me out by seizing my wrist. I was trembling with fear because I knew I had gotten myself into huge trouble.

"Leave me alone; I'm not that kind of girl." I tried to push them, but they were stronger than me, and I was completely wasted. He shoved me to the ground, and I fell.

“Fuck! It hurts." I muttered as my forehead hit the rough ground.

"Hold her hands, first I'll fuck her." When one of them spoke, I felt a shiver of fear run down my spine. I frantically kicked my legs to save myself as the other man grabbed my wrists and harshly pinned both of my hands above my head.

‘No, no, I'm not going to let them touch me; I have to do something.’ My mind was telling me to do something, but my heart was still hoping that Jonathan would come to my rescue.

The other man began to open his shirt, staring at me with lustful eyes and smiling evilly. I was constantly kicking my legs and struggling to get up.

They laughed devilishly at each other, scaring me even more. My eyes were filled with horror as I stared at them.

The man came above me, tore the sleeves of my top, and began harshly kissing my neck. I squeezed my eyes shut and tears streamed down my cheeks. His touch disgusted me. I was terrified; they were going to rape me, and it was all my fault.

Then, without thinking, I kicked the man's crotch three times in a row, causing him to collapse for a few minutes. He yelp in pain, clutching his crotch, and the other man followed him, leaving my hands. I hurled sand in their eyes and quickly stood up before fleeing.

I'd been running through the dense forest for nearly fifteen minutes, and they were both chasing me. I was breathing heavily and my legs were in excruciating pain, but I was still running to save my life from the two animals. I knew they wouldn't leave me if they caught me. I would perish, but I wouldn't let them touch me again.

After a few minutes, I arrived at the cliff, and they grinned evilly at each other because I had no choice but to jump down the cliff.

"You have no choice but to come here now." The man said this, and they both burst out laughing. I clenched my fists in rage and glared at them. Before dying, I wanted to kill these fucking bastards with my own hands.

I chuckled. “What do you think, I had no choice but to come to you? Then let me tell you that you are both mistaken." They exchanged confused glances as I spoke in attitude and smirked.

I shut my eyes. "Jonathan, I wish I could see you before I die," I murmured and jumped down the cliff, arms splayed.

I saw my death from so close and knew I was going to die, but then I felt someone holding my hand in the middle of my fall. I opened my eyes to see Jonathan standing on the mountain, clutching my hand tightly. It felt like a dream, and I looked at him in disbelief.

We both gazed deeply into each other's eyes, forgetting about the rest of the world. My lips curved in a contented smile as he proved my heart right by protecting me. I was on cloud nine.

I saw him after a month, which seemed like an eternity to me. If it was a dream, I wanted it to last forever.

He yanked me up and quickly hung me behind him. "Hold me tightly." I tightly wrapped my arms around his neck and legs around his waist as he instructed me in hushed tones. I buried my face in his back and took a deep breath as if I had finally regained my breath after hugging him. He was as cold as ice, and I felt incredible to hold him in this manner.

His mere presence was enough to satisfy my soul.

He began climbing the mountain as quickly as an animal. I was taken aback and couldn't believe it had happened in real life. We arrived at the top of the hill in ten seconds. He made me stand on the ground, and I stared at him, perplexed.

'What was it? How did he do it? What is he? A normal human being can’t climb the mountain as he did.' I thought, still staring at him, mystified.

"Who are you? How did you do-” Before I could say anything, he shushed me by placing his slender finger on my lips and moving dangerously close to my face.

"I'm a vampire." My eyes widened in astonishment as he finally revealed his real identity to me. I honestly thought I was dreaming because I couldn't believe vampires existed in the real world. I never imagined that the person I crazily love would be a vampire.
