Lucifer's POV

I returned to the pack house with Kill. We had gone scouting the land in Edinburgh that the warlords had taken over.

We returned home late to analyze our research, their weak points, and their defense. We were yet to discover their strategies. From our angle, they were getting very prepared for what was coming and they could prove very difficult to subdue.

"Alpha," Sia said sweetly coming close to me.

"We'll discuss the warlords tomorrow Kill. Get some rest." I said to him.

He stared at me in surprise and then nodded. What baffled him was when I told him to rest. I was known in the pack not to give him or any of the warriors breathing space.

They had to work tirelessly including the servants too. Everyone was to work for the pack without rest.

"What is it, Sia? You do not have better things to do than disturb me?" I shot her an annoying look.

"Oh Lucifer, you should not say that to me." She said coming close to touch my arm.

I brushed her aside. "I only call for your services when I need you and right now I do not," I said to her walking towards the winery.

"You've been this way ever since that ugly duckling came into this house." She said, anger in her tone.

My protectiveness over my mate sprang up again. "Who the hell are you calling ugly?" I demanded in anger.

She stared at me in shock. I closed my eyes mentally cursing Steel for not holding me back from it. From the over-protectiveness that comes over me whenever someone says negative comments about her.

"Do not blame me, we're both slaves to this mate bond." Steel hissed in my head.

She looked away. I went towards her and ran my fingers along the lines of her neck.

"You're my number one mistress right?" I asked her staring at her.

She nodded. "And yet, I no longer exist in your eyes." She said and I could hear the hurt in her voice.

I tried my best not to roll my eyes but I did. I fancied women a lot. The beautiful ones mostly. The ones with all the curves and symmetry lining perfectly. I was not a one woman's man and she of all people should know that.

I had three mistresses including Ashlyn making it four living in the pack house. Let's not furthermore discuss my sexual escapades outside the pack house.

I did not need to woo a woman, they fell at my feet. Ashlyn was the only one I was forced to be my mistress.

I let go of her. Sometimes she irritated me with her words.

"Alpha," Roselia walked in as I poured myself a glass of vodka.

"Yes Roselia, I do not want dinner tonight," I said to her having a feeling that was why she showed up.

She nodded. "Okay milord, but I came for something else." She said and I turned around to stare at her and saw Sia glaring at her.

"What is it that you want? Speak." I said to her as I lowered the glass to my lips.

"Sia wasted food today." She said.

My brows furrowed immediately as I watched Sia from the rim of my glass.

"Give her the remnant of it," I said placing the glass down.

"I'm afraid milord, it's been swept into the waste basket. She poured it on Ashlyn milord." She said and the protectiveness came over me again making me squeeze the glass in my hand and it broke.

They both stared at me in shock. This time I could not hold myself.

I walked closer to Sia and grabbed her neck.

"You're doing this for the punishment right?" I asked her and she coughed with shock still on her face.

"You'll get the punishment. You will." I said pushing her away from me.

I turned to Roselia. "Take the food out of the waste basket and serve it to her," I said to Roselia and Sia stared at me in shock. Not what she expected.

"Vino!" I called out. "Vino!" I yelled in anger. He was one of the warriors.

He hastened towards me and lowered to one knee with his head bowed to the ground.

"Alpha," he said.

"Ensure that Sia here eats the food she wasted and once she's done, send her to my room," I ordered and walked away.

I walked into Ashlyn's room and found her standing at the window.

"I presume you should be in your mistress's room by now. What are you doing here?" She asked still without looking at me.

Was it jealousy I sensed in her voice?

"oh oh, someone's jealous." Steel said with a smirk.

I walked closer to her and snapped her from the window and she fell on my chest. This was not what I had in mind. I wanted to drag her out of the room but here she was close to me, her breasts flattened on my chest and her face tilted looking at me with piercing blue eyes in a pull I had initiated.

I stared at her and for a moment I felt soft. All of her emotions ran wild in my veins. In my head.

I shook away from it. "You're still my mistress too," I said to her and breaking the romantic intimacy between us and dragging her out of her room and into mine.

"What, what have I done now?" She inquired in perplexity. I've never allowed any of my mistresses in my room but today I was making an exception.

A small smirk tugged at the corners of my lips. I loved when she goes from a tigress to a mouse whenever she was around me. I advanced towards her and she backed away, retreating slowly from me.

"Please. I promise I did not do anything to Sia." She pleaded.

I hissed. "This is not your punishment but hers," I said to her.

"What?" She asked baffled.

Just at the right time, Vino returned with Sia. He dragged her in.

"At your command alpha." He said.

I retrieved a metal chain from my wardrobe. "Here," I said handing the chain over to him. "Lock her in these," I said to him. He took the chain from me and I saw her smirk at Ashlyn who looked away from her.

"On the chair," I said to Vino, who placed Sia on the chair and cuffed her to the desk. I saw a smile spreading to her lips and she quickly masked it.

I raised a brow. She had no idea what was about to happen.

I pulled Ashlyn closer to myself and then pushed her to the bed. She let out a gasp and muttered under her breath.

I unbuckled my belt as I lowered my breeches and turned to Sia who had a shocked expression on her face.

"This is your punishment Sia, watching me please myself with your rival," I said to her and she heaved as I gave her a wicked smile.

I did not care if she got turned on while watching. That was the whole reason for this. She would not even be able to touch herself. She'd twist in the torture and her hands would still be cuffed.

I turned to Ash who stared at me wide-eyed. What could I say? I was a man with many twists. I smirked as I crushed my lips on hers, forcing hers open to relish in the nectars her mouth possessed.
