A new arrival

Lucifer's POV

And she did make the most of it. Becoming the aggressor at a slow and steady pace. Taking every inch of my phallus into her mouth like it was hers. Teasing and stroking. Touching and Licking. I almost lost my head in it and dominate her but I refrained.

It felt like she had yearned for it all her life. Yearned to be loved in this manner. Something I will never be able to give.

I did not know why I had made love to her instead of having the usual disciplining sex I gave. Seeing her in the bathtub had sparked something. Something I could not explain or could I comprehend it.

And why I was still in the same position as her was baffling. It just felt right at the moment.

And with all cravings satisfied, I left her sound asleep on the bed.

It was a weird feeling for me and it stuck to my head refusing to get out.

"That was..." Steel began searching for the right word to say.

"Shut up," I said to him knowing what he wanted to say.

"I deserve to be heard. That was insane! Insanely good!" He yelled out.

Yeah and that was what I did not want to hear. I did not want to admit it to myself or it will get stuck and change everything. Change the way I view her, as a wanton. Change the way I tormented her, as a slave.

"I told you to shut up did I not?" I retorted at him.

He scoffed. "That's impossible. I'm Steel and I go quiet whenever I want." He fired back.

I rolled my eyes. I did not have an iota of strength to argue with him so I let him be. He was not my problem now.

Was this a trick from the moon goddess? Did she put a spell on me to do what I just did? Was she trying her possible best to ensure that what she willed is what will come to pass? What...

"Are you having a soft spot already?" Steel's voice penetrated my thoughts.

"What? goddamnit Steel, I'm not having any soft spots." I fired at him.

"I was only inquiring." He said.

"Are you?" I asked him.

"I am Steel and I want a werewolf as a mate, not a perky vampire." He said with an air of pride and then hissed.

"Tell the moon goddess to provide you one," I said to him and he growled and retreated.

"Madame Sofia Vergara from the French quarters has arrived alpha," Vino said to me.

I was seated in the study engulfed with a book when I leaned back and began reminiscing about the day I was brought into this world.

"Make her comfortable. I shall join you soon." I said to him. He nodded and walked away.

I smirked. It was a good thing Sofia was here. Every soft thought I have will be completely gone. I would not be distracted by thoughts of Ashlyn and the lovemaking hours ago.

A few minutes later I strode out of the study. I did not need to check a mirror before knowing I was good to go. I did not need to check if my hair was in a place like Kill often does.

I got into the living room and saw Sofia ever so gorgeous with her forever red lipstick on her lips and falling hair around her shoulders.

She got to her feet the instant she saw me with a huge smile on her face.

"Mi Amore," she said opening her arms wide for a hug.

"Have you forgotten so soon that I don't give hugs?" I asked raising a brow at her.

"Forgive me, Mon Cher," She said still smiling and wrapped her lips around mine pressing her thick and supple body closer to me.

Ashlyn's POV

For the first time, I had a sound sleep and when I woke up I realized he was gone just as usual. I held the sheet of the bed across my chest as I relived the moment that happened a few hours ago.

I had still behaved like a wanton when I could have easily let him go after the first lovemaking but I did not.

He acted differently from the man I have come to know. Was this a sign from above? Would I be treated like a human and not a lowlife?

And his change in demeanor, what did it mean? And why was I blushing so much? I felt my cheeks and realized I was flushed and feeling odd when I smiled.

Was this happiness stirring inside of me? I wondered. I shook my head. I should not let this get to me. This could be another of his tactics too but why could I not get the thought out of my head?

I lay flat on the bed covering my face with the sheets. What was wrong with me?

I groaned as I got out of bed. If I kept sitting here I would not be able to think properly. My thoughts will be jumbled with that of Lucifer.

I donned a simple gown and headed down the stairs hoping to discuss with Catriona.

I got into the living room and froze at the image I saw before me. Lucifer was locked in the arms of a different woman entirely. Someone she had not seen before and she held Lucifer passionately.

Her heart sank at the image. Why was she affected by this? Did she think because he spent a couple of moments in her arms loving her as the proper partner that he was..? She could not even finish her thoughts.

The kiss broke and he noticed my presence.

"Ashlyn," he said grinning. "Come say hello to Sofia." He said.

"Who's she?" Sofia said looking at me from head to toe. She was beautiful with an eloquent accent. She had wispy bangs of black hair and was clothed in a floral printed dress. Red pouty lips and jewel rings shining from her fingers. He wanted me to say hello to another one of his escapades?! I almost lost it but then thought, what if she wasn't?

What was I saying? I just caught them in a compromised position!

"My mistress," Lucifer said to her.

And my heart sank at the word. "Really?" Sofia exclaimed. "You've added another to your collection Mon Cher." She said smiling.

"What can I say? I cannot take my eyes off beautiful women." He said grinning and turning to me. "I remembered I said something." He said and I knew he wanted me to say my greetings to her.

"I'll pass," I said to him.

His eyes darkened in anger at my disobedience while Sofia laughed. "You've got a wild one Lucifer. You do not discipline her enough." She said and Lucifer glared at me murderously.

I swallowed.

"What did I say?" He demanded in that low menacing tone of his that strikes fear even in the hearts of the strongest.

I walked closer to Sofia and held her hands and placed a kiss on them.

"Welcome to the Nightwing pack house." I said to her and almost added sarcastically,' are you staying a short time or long? '

"Thank you." She said still clinging to Lucifer.

"Lucifer and I, we've come a long way together and we share a special bond." She said and I let go of her hand seething in anger. I did not ask her that.

"That's indeed pleasant I must say, if you'll excuse me, I have something that needs to be attended to," I said to her with a pretentious smile. I needed to be excused to steady my heart that was aching for what I did not understand.

"What's more important than standing before your Master?" She asked with a raised brow.

Who the bloody hell was this woman? Was she some sorta queen in this mistress thing to tell me what to do?

"He's occupied and does not need my services," I said to her and looked at Lucifer whose gaze was fixed on me also. He was still angry but masking it.

"That's right," She said resting her head on his shoulder. "I'll take care of him, you can leave." She said smiling and I could not tell if it was genuine or not but I turned to leave when Lucifer's voice stopped me.

"There's going to be a feast here tonight. A celebration of the downfall of the warlords. Prepare yourself." He said and I did not look back but walked away.

Oh, I'll prepare myself alright. A sudden plan formed in my head. I'll prepare myself and he'd be shocked by it. The mighty Lucifer Saunron the Helldog, king of mistresses will be brought to his knees tonight.
