Hidden desires

Ashlyn's POV

The night had become darker and the smoke that had risen from the fallen walls of Dunbar smothered away.

We headed back to Glasgow. I had heard Lucifer talking to Kill about rebuilding the city in the coming months and then making it a residence for the less privileged.

I wondered why he did not just kill the warlord king alone and let the people live if he still wanted the city to stand. Was he afraid that they'll form a coup and try to eliminate him?

With Lucifer, no one could understand how he thinks.

He was seated beside me in the carriage later on as the coach rode away and the smell of death still hanging in the air. Looking outside the carriage, I saw the scavengers of both the night and day circling the air. This was their moment.

I stared down at my hand and saw the fairly burnt flesh and I sighed again hoping it will heal soon.

When we crossed the borders of the Royal Mile, Lucifer commanded we stopped and rest.

My heart gladdened at the sound of that and when the horse was pulled to a stop, I gingerly stepped out of the carriage and stretched. My behind was already complaining of the long tiresome journey back to the pack house.

I walked past the battalion and many had shifted back into humans and wore only kilts. A few were still in their lycan form.

I saw the women they had taken for themselves and I wondered how these men would look in their eyes. How would these women look at them after watching their husbands, children, brothers, and sisters fall by their swords?

In one way or the other, we were all prisoners with different ranks and battling with our demons.

As I walked deeper into the forest, I was suddenly pulled back by a strong hand that had my back placed on the nearest tree. I gasped and stared into the dark eyes of Lucifer.

"You should not wander too far into the forest, you might become prey to one of the predators lurking around." He said lowly as his eyes traveled down to my heaving chest. His tone underlies his anger. What was he so angry about? I did all that he requested.

"Is there any more injustice to suffer that I cannot bear? when the darkest of all predators has chosen me as his prey and claimed me as his bounty?" I asked him with daring eyes.

Why do I always seem to get a rush of boldness around him? which also gets quenched the moment he gets angry at me?

Why was my whole emotion of fear and courage revolving around him?

"You accept that you're my prey and with that knowledge, let a man who wasn't me touch you." His eyes darkened as he begin to say those words as his fingers traced my arm in fiery anger.

I swallowed. "You told me to use all of my feminine charms if possible and as you often say, you're my master and I must obey you. I obeyed your orders master." I said, ending my words in a sarcastic note which I did not expect.

He stared at me with a darkened expression and I had no doubt I had struck a nerve again.

Lucifer's POV

I knew she was sarcastic but I could not think straight in giving her punishment for what she did. My thoughts were clouded with images of another man holding her and touching her.

I was furious the moment I saw his face buried in her bosom and when I had seen him looking at her bare arse that only I had seen, I was driven with madness and that was the main reason why I had his manhood cut off.

I frowned at her instead. "I did not say you should let him touch your body wanton." I hissed.

"What is a wanton supposed to think when she's being told to use her feminine charm?" She asked me, her breath hitched when I slid my hand behind her back.

I lowered my head to the crony of her neck unable to resist the scent her body possessed. Here I was breaking my own rule and I could not help it.

"Your body is mine and mine alone," I whispered in her ears.

She pushed me away and I could see hurt and confusion in her eyes. "Is that all you want of me, my body? You do not see me in any other way?" She vented out.

I stared at her. "What are you talking about? What else do I want from you if not your body?" I asked her and she looked away.

"Pardon my outburst," She said and turned to walk away. I pulled her back to me and her breasts flattened on my chest as her eyes stared into mine.

"I'm afraid if I do, I will not get what I desire," I said to her. I was burning with a need for her. With her, I was insatiable.

"And what is it that you so desire?" She had no clue how sexy and seductive her voice sounded when she said uttered those words and she did so, so innocently without any effort to it.

Words needed not to be said again. I could easily have her right on the spot but I was against it. Not at the earshot of a battalion of Lycans and their prisoners.

All I could do was kiss her a lot. Indulging in the sweetness her mouth possessed till I could breathe no more.

Ashlyn's POV

And by dawn, we arrived back at the pack house. The Lycans all growled in the excitement that the warriors who had gone to battle returned safely and with spoils too.

As they all celebrated their victory, I slipped away from them and retired into my room and heaved in relief that I was finally away from the gathering of height dominators.

I slipped out of my dress and tossed aside the corset and slipped off my undergarments and wasted no time relaxing in the cool water filled in the bathtub.

I sighed. I needed this. My mind flashed back to last night in the woods and I slapped my head. Why did I say those words out loud to him? Why? He has never shown any sign that he wanted something else from me, why would I think of asking him that? I let the soapy water drain and let it get filled up again and relaxed in it.

I should understand by now that my body was what he only wanted. What men only wanted and Eli had done the same in a pretense of love. Lucifer was bold enough to say it.

I'd never be loved in the way I want. I'll only be a wanton, a tool in the hands of men.

"I did not have to come stressing myself to get rid of your clothes, you simply eased my struggle."

I heard the unmistakable voice of Lucifer and my shut eyes flew open. He stood before me and lowered at the bathtub rim and removed his boots.

He turned his attention to me as he traced circles with his finger along the lines of my breast. "I believe we have an unfinished business as of last night." He said to me, his gaze unwavering from the rise and fall of my breast.

"Forgive me but I do not recall any of it," I said to him.

He smirked with a devilish twinkle in his eyes. "Inna few minutes, you'll do." He said and with that stripped himself naked and I looked away.

He chuckled as he got into the bathtub with me. "No need to look away, you've seen me plenty of times. You're yet to have the privilege to touch it nor own it." He said and I felt the full weight of his body on me.

He forced me to look at him and then crushed his lips on mine delving deep into it. My lips were still slightly swollen from his nonstop kiss of last night and here he was again capturing them with his the shocking part of it all is my body always responded despite being violated.

His hands roamed around my body, sending fiery sparks and igniting waves of ecstasy inside of me. I was not spared from his torturous lips too as they feasted on my breasts and neck. The water was an added aphrodisiac and my body begged for more.

For the first time in being bedded by Lucifer, he was not the rough, ruthless, and dominating master I knew. He was still dominating but he was dominating as a lover.

He turned over and pulled me onto him and clasped his hand tightly around me as he aided me in rocking back and forth on him. He made me the aggressor and I was an amateur in it. I was an amateur in everything only following his command.
