Chapter 14

Ravi's POV

A few days after dad called me I decided that it was time to go back to work. I mean nothing new is really happening.... For now that is.

I want to give Adrian sometime to get himself together before I continue my interrogation but I can't leave him here alone.

"Adrian, would you like to come to work with me today? "

"Ahhh I don't think it's best to go out today."

I frowned, "and why is that?"

"No-Nothing just saying. "

"Uhmm ok but I am still going to work today, you can stay if you want."

"No! I mean I would come with you. "

"Uhmm... Ok. " I said warily "well we should go get ready. "

"Ok." he said rushing to his room

Weird I thought.

After my shower, I dressed in a black mum jean, black T-shirt, few rings on my fingers, a black but cute ankle boot and packed my wild curls in a high bun and was already done waiting for Adrian to finish.

I felt a vibration in my pocket from my phone,"Ravi Duncan, who is speaking please?" I waited to hear from the caller but there was no response.

"Hello.... Is anyone there?" I am getting freaked out by the moment, I just hear the sound of someone breathing very close to the speaker if I might add.

"Ravi, who are you talking to?" Adrian said

"Hmm no one I think. " I didn't want to bother him by telling him about the weird call which literally turned more weird than it already was because as soon as Adrian got into the room, they hung up.

"You sure." he insisted

"Yeah..... I'm sure." I hesitated "hey how about we go get you a phone and a laptop before we go to work." I think this is the right time to get a new phone and laptop because this strange call just gave me chills and goosebumps.

"Uhmm.... I thought we're going next week to get them." he said tilting his head.

"Yeah we were but I changed my mind." I said already walking out the door.

"Why the sudden change of mind."

"Nothing, I just didn't want to leave you idle, OK?"

I'm 100 percent sure he didn't believe a word that I just said but that's ok..... As far as he doesn't continue questioning me.

"Ok if you say so. "

"I do now let's go. "

We arrived at the strange looking store.... I swear everything is looking and sounding weird to me today. The store was located in a town in Washington I haven't heard off before which is crazy because I know this fucking state like the back of my hand anyways..... The store itself looked deserted and I mean deserted because no one was in sight which was again you know..... weird.

The grass was overgrown which is fucking irritating, the paint which i think was white was now peeling out and the root looked like it would fall on my head if I dared to step a foot in the store.

"Uhmm Ravi, I don't know about you but this place is looking really shady to me." Adrian said warily.

Well it looks like I am not the only one, "I know babe but they have the best of everything that we might need, ok?" I was spitting shit and we both know it.

Eyeing me warily, "yeah sure if you insist. "

"Ok let's go in because I'm sure any minute now, someone is going to approach us; i'm sure we look fucking weird just sitting in a car in front a strange looking store." I said going out.

"Ughh if you insist. "

"Yes I do, now get your damn butt off my real leather seat and out of my car. " I sassed.

Hands up and comes down, "Ok Ok calm down boss baby. "

"Real mature Andy, real mature."

We walked in and let me tell you the store looks as shady as ever and the big guy upstairs knew that if not for dad, I wouldn't be cut dead here. We got to the front desk but there was no one there, "hello is anyone there?" I say looking at the door behind the counter.

"Ravi there definitely no one, can we just go please." he begging

"Calm down Adrian, let's just wait for a little while."

"A little while you say.... Maybe just maybe this collapsing root could actually collapse on us in that just a little while." he says eyes wide.

Ok now he is just being dramatic I thought rolling my eyes, "don't be so dramatic Adrian."

"Ok fine." he said, breathing in and out.

"How about we go look at what's behind that do-" a loud crashing sound cut me off.

"What was that?" I said

"How the hell I'm I supposed to answer that Ravi. " he whispered

"Ok if you don't know, can you please stop death gripping my arm, you are cutting off my blood flow."

"Oh sorry." he said, letting my poor arm go.

"Hello, can I help you? "

"Ahhh! ``We screamed, we are so screwed.

She whined, "ouch my ear. "

"Oh sorry we screamed so loudly, you just scared us." I answer with my heart beating so fucking fast.

"Apology accepted,now what can I do for you two?"

She looks weird. I thought tilting my head to the side..... Well not in a bad bad way, just a not so normal way besides I don't care even to be precise.

"Well we came to see Harper. " I said

"And why do I want to see her? "

"Well you see my dad was the one who directed us to this place..... We need new tech."

"Who the hell is your father?" she scowled.

I am starting to get pissed off with these questions she is throwing at me, "Secretary Victor. "

"You are his son."

That's right captain obviously I wanted to roll my eyes, "yes I am."

"Ok then..... My name's Harper." She said, "Now follow me."

We followed her to the creepy back door behind the counter.... Wait, come to think of it, Adrian hasn't said anything since the giant woman scared the crap out of us.

"Adrian are you ok?" I said turning to him.

"Yeah Yeah I'm ok I think but I do need to change my underwear..... Cuz I might have peed a little. " he sniffed.

I pressed my lips together, not sure how I was going to reply to that, "ok bro ok.... Let just get this done then we can get you a change of undies, ok? "

He nodded.

"Ok now that you are done with your princess conversation, can move on now." she said tilted her head to the side.

Rude I thought, rolling my eyes, "yes, please show us what you have."

"This way then." she said taking us to another room which was bigger than the other one we were in.

"Harper, I was just wondering how you met my father and what your relationship is with him?.... If I may ask, that is." I explain further by rubbing my neck.

"Well that is something that you will have to ask your father." she said smiling.

"Ok." I narrowed my eyes in suspicion.

She showed us different laptops and phones. I didn't even waste any time going through them;I just picked the fast and expensive ones. I mean I wasn't going to use a slow and cheap one.

"Ok so that is everything we will need.....thanks for helping and scaring us half to death." I smiled at him.

"The pleasure is all mine. " she smiled.

I was being sarcastic, "come on Adrian, we need to go."

We left the store, got in and drove off but as I was driving I couldn't help but notice a black car sitting just at the curb..... Huh weird maybe the owner needs new tech too I thought as I brushed it off.

Adams' POV

That bitch!

Oh I'm so gonna kill that fucker. That fucker Adrian had the guts to even think that he can betray me huh.

He betrayed me...Even if I was going to do the same thing eventually. I mean I seriously can't believe that he believed me when I told him that I was going to help him find that fucker Marcus, I for one was just trying to kill two birds with one stone; get Marcus and get a new sex slave with a little worth.

I can't imagine how the thought of crossing me crossed his mind after all the promises of breaking all the 206 bones in his body.

I will deal with him later: for now he is no longer on my mind, my eyes have caught a worthy sex doll.

I swear that boy is gonna make me a lot of money with his killer curves and sweet looks when I start selling him out. God even thinking about his body is giving me a fucking hardon.

I can't believe it took me this long to see how sexy that boy is..... Damn.

I'm gonna make him mine with or without his consent but I need to get him first before that fucker Marcus gets him and maybe I will be the one to test that boy's hole before any other person I thought as I drove out from the curbside.
