Nicholas POV

I felt that we were wasting precious time talking about the past when I could be looking for Ravi and...and my brother.

I have a brother... And I am praying that he doesn't turn into a douchebag and takes me in. We both have no one else in this world and I am really hoping that he would let it be a part of his life.

After I was hoping that we would start a new life away from the memories of the people that made our lives toxic... Is what I would say to my brother Adrian after we get him out from wherever he was taken to.

"Victor, we need to talk about this later because now we should be looking for a way to find them. "

"Yeah you are right... May we can check out where the accident took place. "

I tilted my head in confusion, "why? "

"Well maybe Ravi left a clause or something. " He said, rubbing his jaw.

"I don't understand. "

"What I am trying to say is that usually when Ravi somehow manages to get kidnapped, he always leaves a clue or something that can help us find him. "

What the hell, "I am sorry but are you in any way trying to say that Ravi getting kidnapped is a normal thing? " i said, eyes wide at that things i am hearing about my future fuck partner.

He chuckles, "yeah that right but know that Ravi is not a chef and a flower boy... He is more than that, I mean even Bennett find's it hard to beat Ravi in a fight when training. "

My jaw dropped, "He..He fight's with Benny? "

"Yep, he does."

I wanted to reply but I got cut off by my ringtone.

"Hello, Nicholas speaking, who is this?"

"Did you even check your caller ID?"

"Hey Benny what's up?" I asked.

"What is up is that we are at your house bro and you are not here....where are you?" He questioned.

I sighed and slouched. "Bennett, a lot has happened since the last time we spoke. "

"Niko we just spoke early this morning so what the hell could happen within that time? "

"Alot my dear brother. " I sighed and rubbed my face.

I heard the sound of shuffling and laughed as I imagined Benny shoving everyone into his large truck.

"Alright man where are you?, me and the guys are coming over. "

"I am at Victor's house. " I said, pouring myself another drink.

He laughed. "Victor asin Victor my Boss?"

"Yeah bro, your Boss. "

"So you guys are on a first name basis."

"Yeah after my soon to be father in law." I knew Benny was gonna blow his top off after I said that but I didn't give him a chance to say shit because I hung up immediately.

"Soon to be father in law eeh. "

I cleared my throat nervously. "I...I was just kid_"

He chuckled. "Save yourself the stress boy, I was the way you were looking at each other at the airport today. " He smirked at my shocked face, "I know a thing or two about instant attraction, Nicholas. I might be old but not blind besides I like you....Just don't hurt my boy. "

"Umm OK sir. "

"Good. I am assuming we are about to have more guests right? "

"Yes, Benny and a few of our friends are coming over. " I answered.

"I don't want this to reach the ear of the public Nicholas. "

"Don't worry Victor, they can help us , I mean I have a friend that is a tech wizard and can help us track Marcus... I have a hunch that he has something to do with this. "

He nodded. "You might actually be right because for a while now Marcus has been quiet and off grid....Or it might have been Adam."

"Who is that? "

He answers with a dazed and tired look, "My friend, personal pilot and driver... He was really close to us, especially Ravi but as fate would have it, he was working for Marcus at that time but as of recently he had become a lone wolf. I know something happened between him and Marcus if he was willing to help Adrian find Marcus. "

"I am starting to get the feeling that this story has more twist than a spring. "

"It definitely does son but i need to clean up before Bennett arrives. "

"Yeah you do that because you really do need a shower, no offense. "

He chuckles. "Non taken. " He says walking out.

I am so hungry, maybe I should have got home to rest but if I had done that I wouldn't have confronted or rather Nate confronted me on the whole O'dara's case. There is something more going on between Nate and his father, I mean I get why he would want to betray his father but why so easily. He has your daughter and he is so willing to risk her life just because he had an epiphany.

Or maybe I am just reading more meaning into it, I thought, walking down the stairs and into the kitchen. I should probably get something to eat before I get bombarded with questions from Benny.

The doorbell rang and Victor came down just in time to open the door better because I wasn't going to stand up at all. A man needs to rest... I am starting to feel the jet lag.

"Good evening sir. " Greeted Benny.

"Welcome and no more formalities. "

"Hey guys what_...what's he going here guys?" I asked. I wasn't expecting to see Nate so soon after the strange conversation in the office.

"Don't get your pantoes in a twist Niko... He says he had something that helped us find Ravi and I think we should listen to him. " Benny says.

I signaled Benny that I need to talk to him privately.

"Benny, I'm not sure we should be trusting this guy. "

"Calm down Niko, look I get why you are paranoid over his involvement but to think of his situation in this. "

"I am trying to think about it. In fact I am always thinking about it and I still don't understand why he would want to jeopardize his daughter's position in this. " It ickys me that I somehow don't have an answer to Nate's recent change in behavior, I mean we are talking about the safety of his daughter here.

"Niko, come on, just give him a chance to prove himself. He might actually be useful to us. "

I shook my head and sighed. Maybe I can give him a chance and then see how it goes but I pray that this decision doesn't come back and bite our ass.

"Alright, fine, I guess we could give him a chance... For now that is if he doesn't fuck it up. "

"Great, now come on Niko, the food is getting cold. "

Oh nice, they brought food...we should have just started with the food before this private meeting.

We got back to the guys to find them and an empty pizza box laying around. How far do they eat? I mean we were only gone for about 15 minutes....oh wow, that's enough time to finish two boxes of pizza and apparently a pack of red bull... My favorite.

"Well damn, I never knew you guys are gluttons. " I said I would go over to join them.

Jimmy laughed. "That is something that will never change. " he said and handed me a beer, "your favorite...i still remember. "

"Thanks bro. "

After a few moments of silence, I decided to speak up. We have no time to play games or beat around the bush, There lives are more asteak every second that we wasted. So I fill the guys in on what has been happening since today and the other past activities of Marcus including the death of my mother and the involvement of Marcus and Sonia. And they were shocked, I mean who wouldn't be.

"Yeah and that's about it for now... So guys willing to help. "

"Oh most definitely, we wouldn't leave you alone in your time of need Nicholas... You have suffered enough. " Peter said.

Nalee nodded in response. "He is right, you know, we are friends for life... You left but you still came back and that's what counts. "

"Yeah we are a ride or die baby!. " Anti said and we laughed. I regret leaving these guys behind, that is the only thing I regret walking out of that horrible life.

"And I can also contribute to helping find Ravi and Adrian...right?" Nate said, wincing with sallow features on. Now that I look at him, he doesn't seem to look tense as he always used to, he looks like he is just trying to get by and damn it if that doesn't make me happy. What can I say... I'm a menace to society.

"How? " I asked.

"Well Samuel O'dara is not a man to play around with, he is manipulative, greedy and ready to do whatever it takes to be on top... Which is why he has business with the person that you are looking for. Marcus Rain."

Oh damn... I swear, the story has more twists than a curly fry.
