Celestial Bonds
Natalia lets out a breath of fresh air seeing Khalil walking through the door, although he doesn’t look amused at all.
“Who are you?” He demands with his deep roaring voice. His over protectiveness forcing his wolf to come forward, sorta.
Amillia doesn’t flinch as most people would, instead she turns around and stands tall. After a moment of assessing the one person in the room she doesn’t recognize she states, “Amillia Black, and you are?”
The shock that ran through Khalil showed on his face only for a slight moment. That’s what Amillia had expected to happen. Shock. It’s no surprise, after all, as far as anyone from their world knows she’s dead. Just disappeared into the night sky over seven years ago never to be seen again… Until now.
“That’s not possible,” he states.
“It’s very possible because here I am,” then she turns to Natalia, “that’s my sister also so are you a friend or a foe?”
A valid questions considering that Amillia can tell that Natalia is feeling more comfortable and safe with this man in the room, whereas before she had felt anxious and nervous. But then again, this man she had just seen with Cole, and he’s most definitely a foe. If his intentions are to hurt Natalia in any way then Amillia is going to have no other choice than to end his life. No questions asked.
Natalia takes in a sharp breath. Sister, but how is that possible? She doesn’t have any family, if she did then why had she spent her whole life in foster care, going through the system, or on the streets and caring for herself. If she has family then why doesn’t she remember ever having any, this woman doesn’t look that much older than she is herself, there’s no way they’re sisters. Natalia would have remembered. But then again, would she? All of this is making her head spin.
Just then the door burst open again forcing the four already in the foyer closer together. The man who talks to much and none other than Cole Wyatt himself walks into the room.
The look on Cole’s face is priceless when his eyes land on Amillia. She can’t help the smirk that appears on her face. Anger, pure rage, is showing through and he isn’t even bothering to cover it up. The blood vessel in the top of his head is turning purple and about to pop it’s bulging so much.
Cole turns to the bulkier, taller man to his left. “I warned you about this girl staying in your house! Now look who she’s done and brought here. Do you have any clue who this woman is?!” His voice is no where near being calm at this point.
Amillia smiles. The man beside Cole looks as if he is seeing a ghost standing in front of him, his face pale. Amillia hasn’t any idea who this man is, but she does love the reaction that she’s getting from these people. It’s actually very amusing. It’s very obvious that it’s clear to the other man beside Cole who Amillia is, and he’s scared.
As she looks around, gauging her options she notices how close the four of them are. Welp, she thinks to herself, guess we gonna find out friend or foe back at the house then. Natalia had made her way to stand beside Khalil and is touching his arm, Jayven on her other side, and Amillia beside Jayven. Convenient, very convenient.
Amillia nudges Jayven to touch Natalia and then speaks, “Well, ya know, it has been a lovely evening and while I would LOVE to stick around and catch up with ya Cole, ya know, I can’t really though. Time to go.” She grans Jayven after seeing him connect with Natalia who’s connected to Khalil, and they are all sucked into a breathtaking darkness.
The last thing they could hear is Cole’s angry growl and curses as the darkened coldness sucks their breath away.
(3rd Person – Past)
It didn’t take long for Erik to become friends with Amillia. All he had to do was wait for his father to be gone away at work. Normally when Cole leaves for work he is gone for days, sometimes weeks, and occasionally months. Sneaking out and doing as they please came quit easy during these points in time. It was no problem at all for Erik to be able to sneak over to Gloria’s house and into the attic where Amillia stays, all the time.
Erik and Amillia started to spend a lot of time together, sometimes Erik would stay at Gloria’s house in the attic with Amillia. They both searched through all the books they could, and Erik would even help Amillia to practice her magic.
Gloria always taught everyone about herbs and nature and how to use all of that stuff, but as far as actual the practicing of magic, using spells, honing on the gifts they were given, Gloria would act as if Amillia was insane anytime she even attempted to bring all of that up. Practicing and caring for the self is just as important as caring for and tending to the outside, and the magics are a well built-in part of their inside. That’s what Isabella, Amillia’s mom, always taught her children. Gloria used to have the same attitude, but ever since everything that happened, she’s changed.
For four years the two of them hid their friendship and their knowledge from everyone. From what they had gathered, there is a prophecy, (there’s always a prophecy), but one which states that the darkness will start to overtake all of the worlds, in attempts to become all consuming. Enemies will know no bound. Then something about the four of the third (generation, it’s presumed), will rise above all and the end will near and along with it the beginning of the destruction of the darkness.
Considering that the only education they get is what they teach themselves and what Gloria teaches them, plus the fact that they are both barely teens, Amillia being twelve and Erik being fourteen, they done the best that they could to try to decipher as much as they can of the grimoires and other books. Especially the one with the prophecy. Amillia, and her sisters, are the third generation of the majka bozica, so the assumption is that this prophecy is about them, the four girls of the third generation created by mother goddess. They both know that there’s a lot more to all this than what they can figure out at the moment and that a lot of whatever the fates, or destiny, or whomever, has in store they’re going to have to learn the hard way.
All good things much come to an end though, and after four years of friendship Cole found out about Erik and Amillia’s developing relationship. Cole was already pissed off due to having to return home early from work. Joseph and Taylor had decided to enter into an ethereal bond with each other, and the ones who control the Wyatt family found out. Then came to light the revelation of Erik and Amillia’s blooming relationship, and the bosses became irked. After all, they had demanded that he find out all he can about this Amillia girl and what all she knows, not allow his family to merge with theirs. So, Cole decided what better way than to use his own son for his own personal gain?
There’s only two times a year that a celestial bond can be made in their world. The goddess made it this way when she created the worlds. Gives her daughters time to realize if the person they have brought here is truly who they would want to be with. This year the Wyatt’s decided to keep watch and see if she would show up for a meeting. Majka bozica hasn’t shown up on her anticipated date to her daughters since the Wyatt family moved into the clearing, except for this time.
Majka bozica seemed to be holding a grudge against her brother, Chamunda, who decided to volunteer the Wyatt family to move into the clearing and “help” the Black family due to the darkness growing and gaining more power. It’s not that bog rata i bitke meant any ill will by lending a hand, he honestly assumed that since things were starting to get worse that backup may come in handy, and who better to aid in protecting everything they all hold dear than the family created from his own image?
Tonight, is different for some reason, and the Wyatts were aware of that fact.
Back home Cole enters his huge mansion to find his three youngest children sleeping while the eldest seem to be missing. This automatically sends Cole into a range, while bog rata i bitke encouraged for his creations to get along with those of his sisters, they had been forbidden too by the bosses that are behind the scenes. The one’s controlling the picture that bog rata i bitke doesn’t know exist.
Anger coursing through his veins, Cole doesn’t even hesitate before walking into his other son, Michael’s, room and yanking him out of bed. Michael is the third oldest, but only by a few seconds, he is the twin to the eldest girl Elizabeth, but for some reason the girls weren’t held as responsible for stuff as the boys were. They seemed to always get a free pass. Michael, however, wasn’t normally punished as severely as Joseph and Erik though.
“Where the hell are your brothers?” Cole demands in the deeply rooted angry voice while holding his son up by his throat.
Michael, having not seen his brothers since they all went their own way for the night was stunned for a moment. Having just woke up the seriousness of the situation didn’t register and before thinking he spoke.
“I don’t know, I’m not their keeper.”
Oh, so very wrong he is. They are the keeper of each other. Ever since their mother disappeared… Died? It has been the responsibility of the children to fend and tend to themselves. Cole was never home enough to care for them, not that he would if he had been anyways, he didn’t actually give a rat’s ass about his kids, but he did enjoy making the bastards.
Cole’s fists connect with the side of Michael’s head, but before he could hit him again Erik intervened. For once he decided it’s time for someone to stand up to the bully, after all, Cole is always telling him and Joseph that it’s their responsibility to make sure the twins and Melody, the youngest, are cared for and stay alive. So, isn’t it his job to stand up to their father for them as well?
Erik tackled his father to the ground and punched him once before Cole threw him off of him. Both stood and faced each other.
“I’m here, what the hell do you want?” He spat at his father.
Cole went to attack Erik instead, but Erik was quicker and smaller than his dad, and although he didn’t actually know how to fight, any at all, he punched his father in the face, making his head turn slightly and an evil laugh emit from his mouth.
Shit, Erik thinks to himself. He’s well aware he’s done fucked up, but at least the attention is off of Michael now. If only Michael, Elizabeth, and Melody actually knew how many times Erik and Joseph have taken beatings just so that they wouldn’t have too. Erik braces himself, he’s well aware of what’s about to happen. He knows better than anyone of his father’s cruelty.
Blow after blow without mercy reigns down upon him until he’s barely able to move. Erik’s face looking completely different blood, broken, and swollen. Cole is furious at this time, and it doesn’t help that it’s almost one o’clock in the morning and Erik has just now appeared in the house. He knows good and well where his son had been. The only other place he could be at Gloria’s, and he doesn’t have any business and is forbidden to be over there or around them. Erik disobeyed the rules.
While still landing punches and kicks at Erik, Cole demands, “Where the fuck is Joseph at, you worthless waste of air?”
By now Erik is sure that he has a few ribs broken, his arm is broken, and he knows this because he can see the bone sticking out of his arm. His eyesight, breathing, and hearing are just barely functioning. Cole’s going to kill him, and he doesn’t even care that he’s doing this to his own son, his flesh and blood. Michael is frozen standing by his bed not knowing what to do. None of them are able to actually defeat their father, he’s well trained in the art of combat and war.
The problem is, Erik’s sick of his father and doesn’t actually care what happens to himself anymore. “I don’t know where he is, asshole.” Erik choked out along with some blood and he’s pretty sure maybe a piece of his lungs as well.
Wrong answer, another kick to the ribs and now Erik knows for sure there’s a few of them broken. The sound of them cracking could be heard all throughout the room.
He had lied to his father anyways. He knows good and well where his brother is and all about the secret that he has been keeping from their father for way too many years. Tonight, is one of the rare nights that a blue moon is appearing, which means that the mother goddess can come into this world and communicate with her favorite creation, the protectors, her guardians.
Joseph and Taylor had picked this night of all nights to decide that they want to be with one another forever and have asked for the mother goddess blessing and union. Unbreakable. There’s nothing that anyone, anywhere would be able to do to separate them unless the fates have different plans for them. It’s a way around their forbidden relationship.
This thought alone makes Erik laugh and seem like a crazy man, barely alive and laughing while at the same time tasting the bitter coppery salty taste of blood in his mouth.
“What the fuck is so funny?” Cole asks taking a moment to try to process his son acting so out of character. He doesn’t normally have to beat them to an inch of their lives for them to obey him, and now this being has the audacity to laugh at him as well.
Erik uses the wall to hold onto as he stands.
“What’s so funny? Someone like yourself doesn’t even know do you. Yet you call us the idiots,” Erik spat at his father. “Your precious first born has been seeing Taylor for about six years now, they’ve gone into the woods to ask majka bozica for their blessing and joining in a marital union so that you, or anyone, can’t do shit about them being together.”
Red. That’s all that Cole see’s is red. Blinded by range he continues to beat Erik until he’s unconscious.
