The twist, then a turn.
Inside a tree.
"Now that all the work is done, what stays you yet, Ayla?"
Prium shot at the indifferent Ayla. All Vulcan did was supplant his rude and mean stare on Prium. After all he had done to her and made her seen for herself, she yet wouldn't leave and would keep constituting the nuisances she thought she had her grasp on?
"You don't get to choose who stays or leave, Prium. You might as well leave if you're tired of being here."
Vulcan found his words, but Prium seemed like a rock which bounced back whatever got to her. She didn't seem beaten nor moved. She said,
"Was only saying, she should leave and go and call her mistress, afterall she is a slave all along."
Vulcan slapped her and she was so shocked. She didn't expect it. Like when a rollercoaster which seemed to had been mute, out of nowhere, from behind you knocked you out.
"Say one more thing about her and you would get another. Gone are the days where you get the respect. You've gnawed at it and insulted my patience. I wouldn't have you address anyone here in such manner ever again."
Prium stood up immediately and stomped off, probably trying to snap out of the shock of what had just happened.
"I think you were too harsh on her."
"Shut up if you don't know what you have to say."
Vulcan snapped at Ayla too and looked away. Ayla smiled instead and looked in the other direction towards the now castle, Prium had walked into.
"What's funny?"
Vulcan asked glaring at her. She shook her head and tried to fight the laughter back. Vulcan was only but more pissed about it all.
He looked away from her trying to hold back his rage. Even he couldn't explain what had gotten a hold of him. He wished he could explain.
They were seated under a tree. You want to wonder, a tree in a tree.
The state of the property in the tree was growing bigger and bigger. It seemed as though the natural order was at their favor, or say, the magical order.
Twas now a castle which was surrounded by a lawn of green pastures. There was a great tree before the castle, which grew stripped leaves. Behind the tree was a po, which ended few metres away from the portal.
Under the tree was a long wooden bench on which the three had seated earlier, close enough to one another before there was a twist supplanted by the slap.
"It's not safe in here anymore."
Ayla said finally, severing the silence. Vulcan looked at her and snapped,
"Didn't I tell you to shut up?"
Ayla's eyebrows twitched at her. Her face was void of the smile. She looked finally away from Vulcan, after tracing the indifference fueled by rage lingering in his face.
She stood up eventually and started to undress, standing in the opposite direction he was looking towards.
She slipped her gown down her body gently and began to walk towards the pool. Then suddenly, there was a creaking of the door of the castle and out of it, came Prium running towards Ayla.
Ayla stood there wondering what was going to happen, but that didn't get to Prium. She got to Ayla instead and pushed her into the pool, chanting,
"Whore!!! Ain't it because of you that he slapped me? Now you want to seduce him?"
Prium was standing at the edge of the pool and kept her face keen on Ayla who was trying to regain her consciousness and float.
But unknown to Prium, Vulcan was creeping on her! As soon as he got to her, she seemed to notice but she was rather too slow to prevent the incoming.
He pushed her, but not from behind since she had turned slightly. He pushed her on the left boob as she fell into the pool.
Though he which he could undo what had been done but he did enjoy the result of his action. He manned up to the action, as Prium struggled to keep her head up in the water.
"That serves you right? Why do you feel so obstinate? Why are you so obstinate? We have a lot of things to handle and you both are fighting over me? You should be kidding."
He shook his head and stomped off their presence. He began to hurry towards the castle.
Prium turned and looked back at Ayla in the water. She began to swim towards the edge to climb out. Ayla was coming behind her too.
After both climbed out, they walked towards the castle. Though Prium was still drenched, but twas pretty easy for Ayla to use magic to dry herself and even change her gown.
Don't expect Prium to ask Ayla's favor on that, we all know he wouldn't. Ayla followed Prium from behind in close proximity.
But before they could even get to the door, they had seen Vulcan walking out with a bag in his left hand.
"What are you doing father?"
Prium hurried to him but he snapped,
"Halt. Do not make the mistake of coming closer to me. Else you would have another round of the slap. And mind you, your father is dead. Didn't you say that?"
He scoffed, enjoying the defeated expression Prium wore. He walked off the stairs which led into the castle and stood tall, holding the two in his gaze,
"Let me start by making myself so clear about this. I do not fancy either of you in whichever manner you think. I do not feel drawn to either of you sexually. So you could actually wake up from the dream."
He paused and began to walk, then he stopped again,
"And since the both of you had proven to me up to this extent that you're but children, I can't keep nursing the nuances anymore. Since you can't live together in peace, I'll leave."
"No, father please."
Prium pleaded but Vulcan didn't stop. He kept walking towards the portal. He shot over his head,
"Anyone of you who wants to keep her life shouldn't bother to look for me."
He said and got to the portal,
"Do you even know how to go out?"
Prium scorned but he didn't reply. Prium was few steps behind him, she had been walking to catch up, pleading. But Prium on the other hand remained at that same spot; before the castle.
Vulcan looked back for the last time then walked through the portal after the observing the mental rite.
Prium stood there wishing twas a dream. Why the fuck had she even left the village in the first place? What else now?! Live with this bitch.
The thoughts nauseated her.
