Chaos
The same day. Same time. Inside a tree.
"Now have you had your fill? Have you, witch?!!!"
Prium cried, her voice almost cracking. She didn't care. She was already used to screaming and shouting and snapping at the always indifferent Ayla.
"These three days you've held me against my will. You'll pay for it. Believe me, you sincerely will."
She threatened again. Ayla as usual didn't say a word. She was also used to the noise and bickering. She didn't have the strength neither did she want to hurt Prium. After all, Prium was her mistress.
"I command you to stop walking right now!!!"
Prium screamed again as Ayla slackened her pace, her back to Prium. She was just few metres away from the tree.
Ayla, unknown to Prium was walking to the portal of the tree to open it for the both of them. But she didn't want Prium to know. So, she didn't tell the restless mistress about it.
Ayla had one more punishment for her. When Prium finds out about it, she would know to be patient for the rest of her life.
"Turn to me!"
Prium barked again as Ayla turned. The former's eyes were rude and quickening, while the latter, mild and persuasive.
"Do you think you can just play me? You think you can just do whatever the fuck you want? Hell no! You want to deceive me like you did the previous days? Walk to the tree, put my hope up, then return again? Knowing that as your dog I would follow you, eh?"
Ayla didn't say a thing. She only stared indifferently at Prium. Of course the latter was beautiful, but her beauty would be more reserved if she could tame her temperament.
"Answer me. I'm talking to you! Don't just stand there like what is used to support the pillar of a house."
Ayla then said,
"I do not know which of your questions ought to be answered. When I think of answering one, you bring up another, and then I'm made a puppet. So, I'd rather be mute than out-work my brain. But better still, if you choose your question properly again, I'll see to it."
Prium fastened unto Ayla and reached out her hand to see if she could now touch her. Ah! Bless goodness. Her hand didn't go through Ayla, she could touch her.
"Now this is all good. It seems like you're defenseless now. Now we'll see how far you can go being all cheeky."
Ayla still didn't say a thing. Prium shot again,
"I will ask for the last time. When will I leave this shithole of a place? And wait. Be certain you choose your words properly now or I would be left with no choice but to make a punching bag of you."
Ayla's face flushed into a demanding stare, as though she was expecting whatever her mistress would do.
"I should go now."
Ayla said instead.
"Go where?"
Prium grabbed her by the left shoulder, ready to smack her. You could tell that, Ayla's next reply would determine her fate.
"To keep my hope up again. You must be a joker. "
Ayla scoffed and replied,
"Couldn't say more. You're more of the joker than I thought."
Prium's face at that were red with the shot of rage. She lost it as she threw the back of her other hand towards Ayla's cheek in rage.
But she missed. She couldn't say precisely how. Yet she saw Ayla standing, and her other hand still holding Ayla's shoulder.
Prium scoffed and gawped,
"You're at it again, coward. Always confiding in this worthless magic."
Ayla scoffed again, there was this recent ray of peace settling in her cheeks,
"If my magic is worthless, then how about you, mistress. Arrogant and helpless. At least, those arrogant people I've met have the power and what it takes to survive independently. But you're a beggar with no choice and manner."
She shook herself free of Prium's hold and turned her back. She back to walk towards the portal again.
Prium stood there stupefied as though a thunderbolt had just hit her. She couldn't fathom neither comprehend what had just happened. But there was one certain thing she could do.
"Wait for me if you have the guts. I'll kill you today. Dollophead. I'll make you pay for talking to your mistress in such manner."
She kept shouting, hurrying to catch up with the indifferent Ayla, who didn't even spare her the luxury of looking back.
Prium wouldn't stop. She was almost unto Ayla as the latter got to the portal of the tree. She got to Ayla and reached her hand out to grab her. She grabbed Ayla on the shoulder from behind, but as Ayla turned to shake herself free of her grasp, the both of them went into the air and fell down few metres away from the portal.
Ayla was lying on Prium as the latter tried to stand up. Ayla wanted to figure out what just happened, of course she knew too well that Prium had only mouth but no magic. But then, Prium pushed her away from her and stood up first.
She rushed to climb on Ayla to start beating her, thinking Ayla was the cause of the havoc.
"Now you have it it b--"
She couldn't complete the words nor her action as they both had the castle crashing down, and breaking into particles, liquidating. By some force or pressure none of them could see.
"Aynea."
Ayla muttered standing up after hurling Prium away from her.
"I'll kill you bitch."
She heard Prium cuss as the latter struggled to stand on her feet. She didn't pay an attention to Prium. Instead, she began to hurry towards the portal again.
But then again, Prium had stood up and was running behind her to catch up with her and make her pay.
But twas rather too late for that. The earth was beginning to quake and crack as the whole place was thrown into a complete chaos.
Somehow, Ayla managed to get to the portal before the creep could get to her. But again she was knocked back by a strong wave and current which seemed to had coursed from the portal, and had grown fiercer.
Prium also had been thrown away by the wave, but she landed in the pool. She started screaming. Ayla, now weak, crawled her to the pool to help her mistress out.
But as soon as Prium grabbed her hand, she pulled Ayla into the pool and climbed out of the pool.
Then suddenly, the whole place was plunged into a great gloom which could be felt. And the world seemed to end.
