Mario and Calvin are Same?
"Does your leg still hurt?" asked Samanta while gently massaging Aurora's feet.
Once at home, Aurora immediately called Samanta to meet her in the room. According to Aurora, currently there is no one who can help massage the soles of her feet which are so painful because of the sprains.
If only Mario was still at home, maybe her husband would help with the massage. Never mind having a sprain, seeing that Aurora was a little tired, Mario would definitely come and give her a massage without being asked.
"It's better, Samanta. Thank you, you can go on with your work."
Samantha nodded. Slowly rose from his seat.
"If only Mr. Mario was at home, he would be the one who would be bothered to see you sprained like you are now," muttered the woman. "I remember, when madam used to complain about being tired, your husband was willing to eat late to make sure you could sleep well first."
Aurora smiled weakly. Actually, what Samanta said was true. If Mario was around, Aurora's life would be more orderly and comfortable. The man did not let Aurora get tired or complain of pain. Aurora even prepared all of Aurora's needs.
"It's okay, Samanta. You don't need to bring it up or remember it. After all, it was Mario who decided to leave this house, right? So I don't think you need to regret that. Instead of talking about Mario, it's better to help me to tidy up the suitcases in the walk-in closet."
Aurora then pointed to the small black suitcase that Mario had previously worn on a business trip a few days ago. He forgot yesterday to ask Samanta to tidy it up.
"It must be work clothes or leftovers, Mario. You just have to check, Samanta. If they're clean, put them back in the cupboard."
Samantha nodded obediently. That second immediately carried out what Aurora assigned. He knew that his mistress really didn't like to see her room messy.
Upon checking the contents of the suitcase, Samanta found some clean clothes. What caught his attention, there was a pair of medium-sized dolls along with chocolates and a greeting card that seemed to have been bought by Mario for Aurora.
Samanta rushed to take out the doll. Turned around, then walked over to Aurora who was sitting watching television.
"Madam, this seems to be for you."
Aurora turned. Seeing what Samanta was holding, his forehead immediately wrinkled deeply.
"Teddy Bears?"
"Yes madam. I found it in your husband's suitcase. It seems he bought this for you on purpose. The price tag is still on the back."
Samanta then handed the two dolls to Aurora. Letting her mistress see for herself what she had just discovered.
"I also found other objects besides dolls, madam," said Samanta later. The next second she handed him two chocolate bars and a greeting card wrapped in a pink envelope. "All this seems to have been prepared for you."
Aurora was silent. He tried to digest while looking at the items he had just received one by one.
"In fact, on the night of Mr. Mario's arrival, he also brought you a box of Cheesecakes, madam," continued Samanta again.
"You mean, the Cheesecake I've been eating the last few nights, it was Mario who brought it?"
Samantha nodded.
"Yes, madam. I was the one who put it in the refrigerator that night."
"I think Sophia bought it for me."
"No. Your husband bought it."
Again, Aurora was silenced. After Samanta left his room, he quickly opened the envelope containing the greeting card. Read it slowly, for the sake of understanding what is written there.
Aurora.
I hope you like the things I bought this time. There is a pair of Teddy Bear dolls that you can use when your favorite doll is being washed. I also bought some of your favorite chocolates.
I'm aware that your taste hasn't changed one bit.
I hope you are happy to receive it.
YourTeddy
Mario
Aurora was shocked. He repeatedly read and tried to understand the words Mario had written in the letter.
"What does Mario mean by writing that my tastes haven't changed? Does he know all my tastes? But where did they come from?"
For a moment, Aurora was silent again. A few minutes later, he muttered again.
"But it's weird, Mario can tell about my favorite Teddy Bear, chocolate, even my favorite cheesecake." Then not long after saying that, Aurora's eyes went wild. "Could it be that the secret admirers who have been sending me food and various kinds of gifts at the office and at home are Mario?"
At that moment Aurora massaged her temples. Suddenly his head throbbed with pain. Dizzy also thought about this. Even if it was Mario who sent all the parcels, he would know where this man's favorite item came from.
"I have to find out about this. I'm sure there's something wrong with Mario."
***
Mario has been away from home for almost a week. Tonight, when she was about to sleep, for some reason, Aurora suddenly thought of her husband.
While rubbing her aching stomach and waist, Aurora remembers how every night before going to sleep Mario never gets tired of massaging or rubbing his back until he falls asleep. Never once did Mario forget the ritual. Even her husband wouldn't stop until Aurora was completely asleep.
To be honest, even though she has a sense of pride, Aurora can't help but admit that it feels like something is missing within her after a few days of her husband's departure. There is no one else to help cover or even kiss the forehead when going to sleep.
"Oh my gosh, did I really miss Mario?" muttered Aurora. Right after those words came out, a small kick was felt on the skin of his stomach. As if hearing what he said, baby Aurora gave her response.
"Why? You miss your Papa too? I'm sure you miss it because no one caresses and greets you like they usually do, right?" asked Aurora while stroking her belly. "Don't get your hopes up. Your daddy won't be coming home any time soon. Maybe you can see him after he's born."
Instead of being calm, the baby in Aurora's stomach grew even more excited. As if spinning and then kicking, making Aurora feel pain.
"Oh my gosh. You're so grumpy," he muttered while enduring the pain. "Please stop kicking like this."
Aurora waited for a moment. But the baby in her stomach is always moving.
"I promise, if you want to calm down a little, I will take you to meet your father in the near future. How about it? Do you want to listen to what your mother has to say?"
Wonderful.
As if understanding what Aurora said, the baby in Aurora's stomach gave another reaction. Even those who had been actively moving around, slowly calmed down.
Aurora even surprised herself to see this incident. Not long ago, Aurora's face turned into a grimace. Does that mean after this he has to keep his promise to meet Mario?
The next day, while at the office, Aurora stole glances several times when Mario passed by. Even when the man was in his room, Aurora really wanted to reprimand him. But because the prestige is too high, he failed to do that.
Until the afternoon came when it was time to go home from work, Aurora, who was walking past Mario's room, from outside accidentally heard her husband being engaged in a telephone conversation with someone.
Intrigued, Aurora tried to eavesdrop again. I don't know, after a few days of separation from Mario, she turned into a person who always wanted to know whatever her husband was doing. As if there is self-satisfaction if he can find out what activities Mario will do.
That's why, while making sure the surroundings were safe, Aurora put her ear to the door. Trying very hard to hear the conversation Mario is having on his phone call.
"So you want to pick me up at the office now? No problem. I'm home early today too. But I haven't showered and all that, Claudia. Is that okay?"
"Ah, I see. Where do you want to take me to eat?"
"Uxbridge? But it's about an hour from my apartment anyway. Isn't that too far?"
"No ... no ... tonight I have nothing at all. So it doesn't matter if you want to take me out to eat wherever it is. Besides, there is also something I want to give you."
"Yes, I have specially prepared it. You can pick it up when you stop by my apartment later."
"All right. Then, I'll get ready first. Just let me know when you get to the front."
Believing Mario had ended his call, Aurora hurried off. Instead of going down to the lobby, the woman actually backtracked to her room. Once inside, he peeked from behind the curtain. Waiting for a while while watching first until finally Mario came out of his room then stepped into the elevator.
After making sure that her husband was already on the ground floor of the building, it was Aurora's turn to follow. Once she reached the bottom, Aurora didn't rush to step out. He chose to wait while watching Mario who seemed to be sitting alone in the lobby. Maybe about five minutes of waiting, before he could see Mario coming out, then walked towards the black range rover that seemed to be waiting for him in front.
Making sure Mario's shadow had disappeared far from sight, it was Aurora's turn to walk towards her car. Once inside, he ordered the driver to immediately drive him away.
Approximately 15 minutes drive, Aurora finally arrived at one of the luxury apartments located in central London. Instead of asking the driver to follow Mario where he was going, he instead decided to stop by the apartment where his husband had lived all this time. Aurora thought, there was one thing she really needed to make sure and now was the right time to prove what she was thinking.
After all, it wasn't difficult for Aurora to go to her husband's apartment unit. After getting married, Mario had invited her to visit there a few times just to have a look before Aurora finally decided to stay at Tristan's house instead of his apartment.
Mario had previously given Aurora an access card to enter the lift and her apartment unit. Even though she had refused, at that time Aurora still kept it. And now? The access card that Mario once gave him is finally useful.
After getting out of the elevator, Aurora walked down the corridor until she finally arrived at her husband's apartment unit. Standing in front of the door for a moment, Aurora tried to remember the combination number to open the door in front of her.
At first, Aurora entered Mario's birth date, but that failed. It didn't take long for her to think about entering her birthday, and voila. The door to Mario's apartment unit finally opened.
Sneaking in, Aurora immediately closed the door and then turned on the light. Look around while noticing the rows of items neatly arranged there.
For a man who lives alone, Aurora admits that Mario is a very neat and clean person. Also, when living together, it was Mario who was more painstaking in tidying up and arranging things in the room.
Walking to every corner of the room, Aurora, who was curious, immediately glanced at her husband's bedroom door. Somehow, like there is an urge that asks to get in there immediately.
Been to this apartment several times, Aurora has not once entered Mario's room. That's why, now he is very curious. Not to mention that there isn't much time here either.
So with full confidence Aurora opened the door to Mario's room. He turned on the light again and looked around in all directions. Aurora slowly stepped. While his eyes were looking here and there, until soon his brown beads found several objects that caught his attention.
Aurora rushes closer. Approaching the glass cabinet which is located not far from the television. Opening the cupboard slowly, in order to be able to take a pink couple frame that he seems to know.
After successfully removing the frame from the cupboard, Aurora saw the photo object that was there. Paying close attention, then before long he was aghast while muttering in shock.
"Gosh this is a picture of me and Calvin at school farewell, right? But how come it's here?
A few seconds passed just like that. It wasn't long before Aurora spoke softly again.
"Could it be that Mario is the Calvin I've been looking for?"
