Never Forgive You
"Tristan, can you calm down a bit?"
Sophia tried very hard to calm Tristan who looked confused and had been pacing back and forth like someone who was confused. The man is currently involved in conversation with Mario, Raphael, and also Alexius. The four of them had a discussion, discussing Aurora's departure, which had not been detected for two days and where she was.
Tristan has mobilized the best people. However, on the second day of the woman's departure, the results were still nil. Maybe we have to wait a few moments before finally Aurora's whereabouts can be slowly found.
"How can I be calm, Sophia. We all don't even know Aurora's condition right now. Is she healthy? Is she living in a decent place? Have she eaten? Are her needs met?"
"Oh come on, Tristan," said Raphael in a tone of protest. "Please don't think about it, son. You're making Papa even more worried. Papa is even trying to think as positively as possible about Aurora's current state."
Sophia who was sitting immediately chuckled. What did he say. The attitude that Tristan showed actually made people around him worried and hopeful.
"I told you, Tristan. Try to calm yourself like what Mario did. With a panic like now, you're only making the others more anxious," Sophia protested while trying to give understanding.
"All right," said Tristan. "I apologize." Then Tristan's gaze turned to Alexius who seemed busy checking something on the tablet he was holding. "Keep checking all the surveillance cameras recording Aurora's departure, Alexius. Find out quickly where she went."
Alexius looked up then nodded. It didn't take long for the man to convey the additional information he had just received. Thankfully, even though it is slow, there is still significant progress.
"According to the investigation, Mrs. Aurora was taken away to the airport, sir."
"Airport?"
All the people who were there were shocked and shocked. Even simultaneously saying the same thing as if unsure of what Alexius had just said.
"Yes, sir. There is a surveillance camera that records the journey of the car that Mrs. Aurora was in to enter the airport area. If I may conclude, it seems that Mrs. Aurora left London."
Mario, who listened to Alexius' explanation, became even more excited. Trying to guess, is it true that his father was the mastermind behind his wife's departure.
"In that case, expand Alexius' search. I don't want to know, anyway Aurora should be found soon. At the very least, we should all know the city, country, or destination she's visiting."
Alexis nodded in understanding. After receiving the order, he rushed to carry out the task given. Meanwhile, Tristan, Mario, and Raphael returned to the discussion. Trying to set a strategy to be able to find Aurora as soon as possible.
In a different place, Diana immediately approached James, who at that time had just returned from a business trip. In her husband's study, she arrived impatiently, then without further ado immediately questioned what Mario had discussed with her yesterday.
"Your work is all done?" Diana asked as she walked closer. Then, handing over a cup of lemon tea that she made specifically to give to her husband.
"That's it, honey. I've handled all the work well. Maybe, in the next two weeks I'll be traveling again."
Diana nodded. Pulling a chair, deliberately sat right in front of James so he could freely see his husband's face.
"Yesterday my son stopped by and looked for your whereabouts," said Diana, starting a serious conversation. His face was made as relaxed as possible. Hoping that the rod that he slowly threw, was caught and returned by James.
"Oh, huh? It's amazing that Calvin came and suddenly looked for me."
Since deciding to get married and have a family of his own, Mario rarely visits his parents. The man only occasionally stopped by when he felt homesick or wanted to talk about something he considered important or serious.
In fact, when he had a fight and decided to temporarily separate from Aurora, his parents didn't even know. For Mario, if possible, all the problems he is experiencing do not need to be known by his parents, let alone intervene in solving them.
"Maybe he misses you, honey," Diana said. "If I pay attention, it looks like there is something important that your child wants to ask and discuss."
James just nodded. Not really taking seriously what his wife just said.
"Then let it be. If it's really important, Calvin will definitely come back to see me."
Diana was silent for a few moments. Deliberately watching James in silence, to then rebuke her husband before deciding to leave the room.
"Honey, I know you more than anything else. Is there something big you're hiding from me right now?"
James who had been busy writing then looked up. Lifting his face, for the sake of staring deeply at Diana who was now transfixed looking at him.
"Something big how do you mean?"
Diana then smiled.
"Oh, come on. We've been married for 28 years. We've even known each other for 35 years. I know and know perfectly well that you're hiding something from me."
James then laughed. It seemed that he wanted to hide everything as neatly as possible, but in the end his wife had to find out.
"I'm not hiding anything from you, baby."
"I know you're being dishonest, James."
"Diana ... please."
"I should be the one begging you. Were you involved in something that made your son dizzy like he is now?"
"I-I just ----"
"For God's sake, James," Diana cut in immediately. "You yourself asked me never to interfere in Calvin's household affairs. But, why are you the one who broke your promise now? Besides, did you know that your son came yesterday with such a sad face? Really, what have you done without my knowledge?" ?"
After being bombarded with questions, James could only remain silent. There was not the slightest intention on his part to tell what really happened. Or maybe not yet.
"Trust me, Diana. What I am doing right now is for the good of your son. For the good of our child. I have even considered everything very carefully."
Diana then took a deep breath. Seeing how James tried to convince him, it made it difficult for him to dig up a lot of information.
"So you don't want to say a word about what's really going on right now? Calvin even comes in so frustrated. And you? You caused all of this? For God's sake, James, don't be like this."
"Diana ... please. It's not that I don't want to tell you all of this."
"Then what's the name?"
"Not yet," said James trying to convince. "I promise I'll tell you everything. For now, you just need to trust me. Trust even what I'm doing right now is for the good of all of us."
Diana just kept throwing her husband's gaze. Trying to believe and participate in the game that her husband is planning.
"If anything happens to my son or grandson, you are the first to take responsibility, James. Remember! I will never forgive you."
