The Truth
Mario kept looking at the watch that was wrapped around his wrist. Pray and hope that time will pass quickly.
Currently, he is on his way to Germany. After knowing where Aurora was, he decided to immediately follow and pick up his wife.
Several hours of air travel, the plane that Mario was on finally arrived. He rushed to do an inspection, then looked for someone who had promised to pick him up when he arrived in Germany.
"Calvin..." one of the men called as Mario came out of the arrivals terminal.
"Gerald," she scolded. "Thank you very much for bothering to pick me up."
"No problem," said the man with the dimples while helping to carry the bag that Mario had previously carried. "For you, I always have time, cousin. Besides, you rarely ask for my help."
He smiled. Then immediately get into the SUV that Gerald has prepared. Then ordered his cousin to immediately take him to the place where Aurora was.
Originally, Mario wanted to take care of everything himself. However, his mother suggested that he should contact Gerald, his eldest cousin, to help with all his needs while in Germany.
Of all the cousins in Germany, it was Gerald who happened to be the closest to Mario. Luckily the man had time and could help Mario to accompany him anywhere.
"So we're headed to your Papa's Santa Crush apartment?"
Mario nodded, then turned to Gerald who was driving his car.
"Yeah, take me there right now. There's someone I have to pick up right now."
Gerald didn't ask any further. From the start when Mario called, he immediately agreed without asking too many questions. Gerald understands and deliberately does not want to interfere in the personal affairs or privacy of his cousin. Along the way he even discussed other matters in order to lighten the mood so as not to get too tense.
"How's Auntie Diana? Is she all right?"
Mario nodded.
"My mom is fine. Even now she seems so focused and absorbed in her work. But, a few weeks ago, I saw she was also starting to get busy with her new hobby."
"Oh, yeah? What hobbies?"
"Take care of the flower garden behind the house. Do you remember the garden I made when I graduated from college?"
Gerald nodded.
"Sure. I even accompanied you to plant ornamental trees there."
"Yes, now the garden is functioning again. In fact, Mother has already bought countless kinds of flowers for her to take care of. The two of them were engrossed in talking all the way to the apartment. Until before they knew it, thirty minutes had passed. The car Mario was riding in finally arrived at one of the luxury complexes containing housing and apartments typical of the capital.
Arriving in front of the lobby, Mario quickly got out of the car, then took big steps towards the reception desk. Checked first, while talking something to the officer until finally he was given access to go to the unit he was referring to.
"You're not coming up?" he asked. He found that his cousin seemed to be sitting on the sofas provided along the lobby of the building.
"No. You go upstairs. I'll give you time so you can finish all your business. If you need my help, just call. I'll make sure I'll catch up with you soon."
Mario nodded, then continued walking towards the apartment unit where Aurora was. As soon as he arrived at his destination, Mario immediately took out the access key that the receptionist had given him.
Without asking permission let alone knocking, he immediately opened the door. Walking a little settles, directing his feet to enter and then slowly stepped into the living room. Samar Mario heard male and female voices that he knew so well were engaged in conversation.
"How? Tastes good, doesn't it?" asked the man. "Just so you know, the cake is really the best here. It's a loss if you don't try it. I know you'll like it. That's why, eat it all. If necessary, I'll buy it again tomorrow."
"Don't overdo it."
"Oh, come on, Aurora. You don't have to sell high. You don't need to be so snappy like that. Quickly finish this cake before I take it.
There was silence for a few moments before the man spoke again.
"I know you will like it. Just look, your lips are even full of cream and butter. Do you want me to help clean it up?"
Hearing the terms of the temptation, Mario quickened his steps towards the place where the two people he knew were engaged in conversation. And the guess is right. As soon as he arrived, with his own eyes, he saw how Jacob, the cousin he had hated, seemed to be grabbing Aurora's lips. Then forced to bite the lips of his wife.
Mario of course enraged. He approached Jacob, then he pulled the man's collar from behind while throwing a fist. Inevitably, Jacob immediately fell down. The shocked Aurora even screamed.
"Mario!" Kimlra screamed in fear. Instead, Aurora was afraid that her husband would get into a fight which would even endanger his life. "Stop it, Mario!"
"You just stay there, Aurora. Let me teach this jerk a lesson!"
Mario then turned back to Jacob. Approaching his cousin, then returned to throwing punches repeatedly.
Jacob didn't fight back one bit. Just let Mario beat his stomach and face to blush. The fight between the two of them could only be separated when two other men, James and Gerald, appeared from the direction of the apartment unit door.
"Calvin, stop it! You can kill Jacob," James shouted as he separated his son and nephew. But, Mario is still dark eyes. He kept trying to fight. Even still want to beat Jacob even though he tried to be separated.
"Calvin, stop," Gerald begged. "Please hold yourself."
Mario weakened his body. He took a deep breath while staring at Jacob's face as if he wanted to skin the man.
"How dare you touch my wife! Are you tired of living, huh?"
He didn't answer. The man just smiled casually. Not the least bit provoked let alone interested in avenging what Mario did to him.
"Calvin Papa please stop."
This time, Mario threw a sharp glance at his father. It was as if he was asking for an explanation for what had happened to his wife.
"Papa said he didn't know anything about my wife's whereabouts? Then what does all this mean? Papa deliberately told Jacob to seduce Aurora?"
"Calvin Papa can explain everything. You better calm down first."
"For what? Ah... is it possible that Papa wants to trick Aurora into having a further relationship with Jacob? So that my wife and I are really separated after this?"
Mario shook his head. The anger that was so intense had filled him now.
"No, Pa. Aurora and I will never be separated again. And you need to remember too, I don't think there's anything else to explain. Everything is clear enough, right? I even confirmed directly beforehand. But, what? didn't answer my question. Then why do you suddenly want to give an explanation for all the bad things that have happened?"
"Calvin..."
"Yes, Pa," said Mario while raising his hand. Signaling for James to stop babbling. "I don't want to hear anything from Papa. From now on, just pretend that I'm not Papa's child anymore. Don't beg me, stop meddling in whatever it is that I'm dealing with. If you ever dare to disturb my little family again, I swear I will destroy Papa with my own hands!”
Mario then turned to Aurora. Grabbed his wife's wrist and quickly led him out of his father's apartment unit. That day, if possible, he wanted to bring Aurora back to their residence.

"Mario... I'm sorry. Really, I didn't mean to leave you."
All the way to the airport, Aurora was heard crying. The woman kept begging Mario to forgive what he had done.
“During my stay at the Apartment, nothing happened between me and Jacob. I could swear it, Mario. I do not do anything."
Aurora's body trembled. Fear seemed to haunt him. Hoping that the misunderstandings in the past will not be repeated and destroy their relationship.
"It's okay, Aurora. I believe in you. Whatever you're going to do, I know you had to do this. I'm the one who should be apologizing to you. I'm sorry Papa because what he has done is really too much."
Aurora nodded. Along the way, he never stopped letting go of Mario's hand. Mixed feelings were filling him right now. There was also a bad feeling because Mario had seen how Jacob was flirting with him.
Really, Aurora couldn't imagine what happened the other day that Mario saw. I don't know what would have happened if her husband had found himself almost seduced by all the touches that Jacob had given him before.
"Mario ... I'm sorry again," Aurora squeaked again. Tears kept flowing, rolling down his cheeks.
"Sssss... calm down. You don't need to keep apologizing. It's not your fault, honey. Now, you better calm down. We'll be home in a bit and after this I promise I will take care of you and won't let anyone bother you."
Aurora nodded. Do what Mario ordered him. Once they arrived at the airport, they said goodbye first to Gerald, who was on duty to return to deliver them.
After waiting for a while, finally the plane they were going to be on was getting ready to take off. Previously, Mario had contacted Tristan and Raphael that Aurora was safe with him. He also asked Alexius to be on standby to pick him up later.
Nearly two hours in the air, Mario arrived in London at exactly two o'clock in the afternoon. While taking care of the documents, he immediately contacted Alexius to get ready.
"Aurora are you okay?"
On his way out of the arrivals terminal, Mario found Aurora who suddenly remained silent. Of course Mario felt strange. Even the wife's face, which used to look normal, had now visibly turned a little pale.
"I'm fine. It's just that my stomach hurts a little."
"Do we need to go to the hospital? I'm afraid that you ---"
Before Mario could finish his sentence, Aurora's steps stopped. Seconds later the beautiful woman suddenly lost consciousness and just collapsed.
