In the past, when he was still a teenager and had to be separated from Aurora, Mario had great determination and ambition. He vowed in his heart that someday he must be able to meet again, have a relationship, and keep his promise to marry Aurora, who is his first love.
Mario did all kinds of power and effort. From losing weight. Improving appearance, studying hard to achieve so much. And most importantly, he convinced himself to lock his heart to one woman, namely Aurora.
There are many obstacles that Mario must go through. In fact, when God finally answered his prayers and reunited him with a idol, he could not immediately enter into a relationship. Mario even felt heartbroken because when they met after a long time, Aurora didn't even recognize him. Even more tragic, he finds out that the woman is infatuated with another man who is the head of the company where Mario and Aurora work.
Mario had wanted to give up. However, if he remembers the promise and the amount of love he had, his enthusiasm returns. Evidently, after a long time of being patient, again God answered his prayer. Even though they have to unite in an unexpected way, Mario is still grateful.
If only that night he had not escorted Aurora, who was heavily drunk, back to her apartment, maybe he would not have married her. Once again, Mario was grateful because that night Aurora forced him to sleep with her.
Indeed, even though after marriage the woman did not immediately realize and fell in love with him, Mario remained patient. Until finally, the truth was revealed. He and Aurora could be together. Once again, even though there were small pebbles and even a storm that had blocked him, he was determined not to leave her side. Especially now that God has given them the best gift and maybe they will receive it in a matter of hours.
"Mario... what's the matter? Why did Aurora suddenly become unconscious?" asked Raphael when he arrived at the hospital. As soon as he was given the news that the princess had fainted, he rushed to follow her, feeling frantic and also worried.
"It's time for Aurora to give birth, Pa. She's unconscious because she can't stand the sudden wave of contractions."
"Oh my god..." Raphael cried again. The worry never left his handsome face. "Then, how is his condition now?"
"Don't worry. Papa doesn't need to worry. Aurora has regained consciousness. Currently waiting for the delivery process."
"Can Papa come and see him?"
Mario nodded and motioned for Raphael to enter the delivery room. Letting his mother-in-law enjoy time alone to let go of missing her daughter after days of not seeing her.
"Aurora..." Raphael called. Slowly approached, then burst into hugs and kisses towards Aurora who was lying down. "Dad misses you, son."
Aurora nodded with teary eyes. Even though he is often involved in debates or arguments, he admits that there is no one who is as sincere, as dear, and who worries the most about him besides his father.
"Sorry Aurora, Pa. Sorry for the stupidity that Aurora has done."
"Don't do that again, dear. For God's sake, Papa is almost going crazy looking for you. Every night, Papa has trouble sleeping because he thinks about the condition of you and your future baby."
"Once again I'm sorry, Papa."
Raphael hugged again. Forgetting all the worry, fear, longing, joy, happiness, that he is currently feeling.
"But... you're fine, right? Did the doctor say anything?"
Aurora shook her head. Reviewing a smile while holding his father's wrist.
"I'm fine, Pa. Just pray that my delivery process goes smoothly after this. In the near future, Papa will become a Grandpa."
This time Raphael nodded. Also happy and can't wait for Aurora's future baby to be among their family.
"Papa never stops praying for you, honey. Papa can't even wait to meet his grandson later. I hope your delivery after this goes smoothly without any problems and we can all go back and gather at home as before. And please, after this, don't think stupidly on purpose Away from home."
Aurora smiled and nodded.
"I won't do it again, Pa. I promise."
"All right, then Papa will go out first so you can concentrate. If anything happens, let me know immediately."
Raphael then left the room. Changed with Mario who now accompanies Aurora for a while.
Meanwhile, outside the delivery room, Raphael appears alone waiting. Until not how long, came Sophia who then immediately reprimanded him.
"Papa," Sophia scolded. Making Raphael's focus immediately shift to him.
"Sophia, honey. Must be Alexius who told you about Aurora?"
Sophia nodded, confirming what her mother-in-law said.
"It was Alexius who notified me. That's why I immediately rushed here."
"Yes, honey. Aurora was looking for you. Now she's alone with Mario inside. Wait for Mario to come out, you can take turns visiting Aurora."
Sophia nodded. Waiting for a while, Mario really looks out of the delivery room. Approaching Sophia, asking the woman to immediately go in to see Aurora.
"Come in, Sophia. Aurora doesn't want to start labor before seeing you and talking to you. I don't know what she has to say."
Sophia rushed to obey Mario's orders. Leaving Mikayla for a moment, she chose to enter the delivery room. Inside there, there was Aurora who was lying down enduring the pain of the contractions that came every time.
"Aurora....Jesus Christ. Why aren't you in labor yet?" Sophia asked confused when her position was next to Aurora.
"I was waiting for you," Aurora said weakly. "I have something to talk to you about, Sophia."
Sophia got closer and closer. Grabbing one of Aurora's cold wrists and holding it. While his free hand, help rub the woman's back to feel comfortable and not moaning in pain.
"What did you want to talk to me about? Say it quickly, Aurora. Your husband and Doctor Hansel are waiting for you out there."
Aurora's breath was heavy. With a face full of sweat, the woman endured the pain for a moment to speak to Sophia again.
"You know Sophia, since yesterday, I'm afraid that my labor will fail."
"Fail?" wonder Sophia. "Failed how do you mean?"
"I don't know. But some time ago, when Mario and I were separated, I had a dream that I had to lose my life because I gave birth to a baby in my stomach."
"Oh Lord." Sophia exclaimed. Shaking her head, the woman tried to calm her down. "It was just a dream. No need to dramatize. You and your baby will be fine. I'm sure of that."
Ignoring Sophia's words, Aurora shook her head. Grasping his hand, he whispered softly.
"If later the birth process that I'm going through fails like in a dream, I beg you, help Mario to take care of my baby. There's no one else I can trust besides you, Sophia."
"Where are you going? To the point of asking me to take care of your baby?"
"It's just an illustration, Sophia," Aurora said. "I'm really afraid that something bad will happen to me. That's why, in anticipation, I'm giving you this message."
"Ssstss..." Sophia immediately hissed. Shake his head. Asking Aurora to finish her sentence. "There's no need to continue. I'm sure you're fine. So, just hang on. Do what's best for you and your baby. I'm busy, Aurora. You know that I only have twins. So, I suggest you have to live on so you can take care of yourself." your own baby."
"You're annoying!" squeaked Aurora. Then shortly stretched his arms, asking Sophia to hug him. "In that case, pray for me a lot so that the birth process can run smoothly."
"Of course. I never get tired of praying for you. Now, stop thinking nonsense. Just focus on all the instructions that the doctor will order for you. After all, are you willing to die in vain. Then leave your handsome husband? I'm sure he will be the target of many women if you really leave him."
"I won't let it!"
Seeing Aurora's fiery face, Sophia immediately laughed. A few seconds later, it was seen that doctor Hansel entered followed by several nurses and also Mario there. Indicates the birth process must be done immediately.
Olivir himself immediately said goodbye. As soon as he left the room, he found Tristan who had probably just arrived at the hospital after finishing his work.
"Have you seen Aurora?" asked Tristan as soon as Sophia approached him.
"Yes, dear. Earlier, Aurora insisted on meeting me."
"Is there anything important?" asked Tristan curiously. Just curious, what Aurora wanted to say to his wife to the point of delaying the delivery for a moment.
"I don't think it really matters," Sophia said honestly. "Just a chat filled with fear."
"What do you mean? God I don't know what you mean, Sophia."
Sophia sighed lazily. It is difficult to explain everything to her husband.
"It's long if I tell you from the beginning, one thing for sure, Aurora was afraid that her delivery would fail which would actually take her life."
"Geez." Tristan immediately exclaimed. "Aurora thought that far?"
Sophia nodded.
"I think that's very humane. Aurora is afraid of having to leave the baby and her husband. That's why, Aurora said, when she does leave, she asks me to take care of the baby."
"And you agreed to Aurora's strange request?"
After nodding earlier, it was Sophia's turn to shake her head.
"Of course not. I will continue to pray to God so that Aurora will survive her birth process this time. I hope that she herself will take care of the baby. Not me, let alone anyone else."
"Good." Tristan chimed in while thrusting his thumb towards Sophia. "Regardless, he must live. There are still many big tenders from clients that the woman has not completed."
Sophia immediately glared at Tristan. Clucking and muttering a little. From time to time her husband thought about work in an emergency situation like this. Like there's no other time.
After talking for quite a while, Tristan invited Sophia to sit and wait on the available chairs at the front of the room. While talking to Raphael, every now and then one of them would look towards the door of the room. Hoping that a medical team will come out and give news about the birth process in there, whether it was successful or what.
Until finally, after more than an hour of waiting, Doctor Hansel came out of the room. Giving news to Raphael and the others that a baby girl has been born safely from Aurora's womb. The mother herself is in very good and stable condition.
In the end the worries that had whack just evaporated. Replaced by a sense of happiness where their family now has a new member.
"Congratulations Aurora, we are all happy to see you and your baby safe," said Sophia full of emotion when Aurora was in the treatment room.
"Thank you Sophia, this is all thanks to your prayers and others."
"Your baby is beautiful," said Tristan when he took a closer look at Aurora's baby, who was now being carried by Mario.
"Of course. She's as pretty as me, right?"
"Yes, I admit that," said Tristan and immediately the whole room laughed.
While everyone seemed happy to welcome the new members, Aurora and Mario, who were chatting, were suddenly taken aback. Some time ago, uninvited, he was present in the room of the person who had separated the two of them.
