Wedding Plan
Mario thought the application process in the future would run smoothly after getting both parents' blessings. That is not true. There are still many stages that he must go through. Not to mention that Quartararo's family had just had a disaster when Sophia suddenly miscarried. This, of course, made him have to wait until things calmed down a bit patiently.
Counted, one week Mario spent waiting for a moment. Finally, Tristan had time to discuss his plans to propose and marry Aurorae.
"So you're really ready to marry Aurorae?" asked Tristan probingly.
Currently, Mario was indeed in the man's study. There, Raphael was also present, who had previously discussed Aurorae's pregnancy and asked Tristan's opinion.
"I'm really ready, Mister. Besides, my parents have also given their blessing. So, our extended family is just waiting for a signal when to visit Quartararo's extended family."
Tristan nodded. He previously discussed it with his father and now knows what decision to make.
"Since both of your parents have also given their blessing, I hope that you will immediately visit the house to carry out the engagement and proposal first. But my suggestion is that this process be carried out privately, not inviting many people. Only the nuclear family is sufficient."
Raphael then sat listening, nodding along. Agree with Tristan's suggestion.
"No offense, Mario. It's nothing. Because Aurorae was already pregnant before getting married, I don't want the public to corner my daughter because of that. Yes, even though in our country it's no longer a taboo subject. In fact, there are only couples in out there who are not or have just married after having many children. I just don't want to spoil the image of each of our families because of the mistakes you made."
Mario nodded. He understood exactly what Raphael was saying. After all, it was already a risk because he was born into a prominent family where his private life was in the spotlight of many people. It was also his fault that, at that time, he was so complacent that he did something stupid, which in the end, harmed both sides of the extended family.
"I understand that. It doesn't matter if the application or wedding process will also be carried out privately. Whatever it is, I will do it so that everything runs smoothly and according to plan. What is certain, I will be responsible."
"In that case, tonight the two of us will return to talking slowly to Aurorae," Tristan said. "For the application process, I think your family can come this weekend. Later, we will talk and negotiate when the wedding procession should occur. After reaching an agreement, then everything will be prepared."
Agreeing with Tristan's decision, Mario chose to leave. However, before leaving his boss's office, he turned around again. He was staring at Raphael as if he wanted to say something.
"Before I go, I have something to ask Mr. Raphael."
The tall, tall man immediately nodded. Invite the future son-in-law to speak.
"Just say it, Mario. What do you want to ask or tell me?"
"Next week, Aurorae's schedule is to have her pregnancy checked again. I just want to ask permission to accompany her to go to the doctor at the same time."
"Good grief." Raphael shouted and then laughed shortly. "Of course you can. You don't need to ask permission again, Mario. Isn't Aurorae your future wife? It's just that I ask you to be a little careful. I don't want the two of you leaving to cause bad gossip."
Mario nodded in agreement. After making sure he got permission, he then continued his steps to go to his office.

"Aurorae, Papa and Tristan would like to speak with you for a moment."
After dinner, Raphael asked his two children to gather in the reading room. Tonight was his plan to invite Aurorae to have a serious talk about the wedding process, which had to take place soon. According to Raphael, there is no longer any reason for his daughter to refuse, especially after Aurorae was declared pregnant.
"What do you want Papa to talk to me about this time?"
"We both want to discuss your engagement this weekend. As well as discuss the wedding process that must be carried out immediately." Tristan answered questions from Aurorae.
"Oh my God. Why don't you all get tired of asking me to marry Mario?"
"Because it's the thing you have to do, honey," Raphael answered. The man was trying his best to be gentle with his daughter tonight. "Remember, you're pregnant right now. Aren't you sorry that once your baby is born, he doesn't have a father?"
Aurorae laughed dryly. It's sluggish tonight. He discussed things that he thinks are not important.
"Why should it bother you, Pa? There are lots of unmarried couples out there, but they have lots of children. There are also young women who have children without having to marry the man who got them pregnant. However, their life is fine," Aurorae explained. As usual as possible, she decided not to marry Mario.
"The problem is, we are not them, son. Our family is an honorable family. Meanwhile, your actions to get pregnant like this have tarnished Papa's pride as a parent who has worked hard to educate you to become a respectable woman."
"Okay, I'm sorry if I embarrassed Papa and our family. I admit what I did was wrong. But I beg you, can't I live with my own choices?"
Raphael shook his head.
"Papa has never forbade you to determine your future. It's just that if things go astray like now, it's mandatory for you to act. And this time, the problem won't be solved if you and Mario don't get married."
"The problem is, I don't love, Mario, Pa. How can I live with someone I don't love."
Tristan, who at that time was sitting next to Aurorae, immediately laughed, which made the beautiful woman feel strange.
"Why are you laughing? Is there something funny about what I said?"
Instead of objecting, Tristan nodded.
"You're funny and selfish at the same time, Aurorae."
"You mean?"
"Have you forgotten, you used to force me to marry you who clearly didn't have any feelings. I remember you said you didn't care. After all, you mentioned that love could grow over time. So now? Why don't you Just give it a try in this case."
Shit!
Aurorae cursed herself. Why did Tristan even bring up past events to make him cornered like now?
"But this case is different."
Tristan immediately nodded.
"Yes, it's really very different. Even the case this time is more severe and complex because you're already pregnant. That's why you like it or not, you have to get married soon."
"What Tristan said is true, Aurorae. Don't you feel sorry for your future baby? Do you have the heart to let her be born without a clear status and without having a father?" Raphael again bombarded Aurorae with so many arguments.
"Why don't you learn from what Papa did to you, Aurorae." This time, it was Tristan who returned to continue his speech. "When you were born as an orphan, Papa was willing to do anything as long as you can get your rights as a child. Do anything so you can feel the same way as other children in general. Why don't you think about that."
Aurorae fell silent. Tristan's words were so stabbing, as if skinning his heart. He suddenly felt guilty for having acted stupidly and had even intended to eliminate the innocent baby in his stomach.
"Please, Aurorae," Raphael said again. "Think carefully. At least do all of this for the sake of the innocent baby in your stomach. After all, Papa and Mario have agreed that the entire series of events will be held privately."
Aurorae tilted her head. Closed tightly, then soon the woman spoke back.
"Okay, this time I will comply with Papa and Tristan's request to marry Mario."
"Ah, thank goodness." Raphael looked relieved after hearing what his daughter had just said from the look on his face.
"But there are conditions, Papa."
"What conditions?" asked Raphael and Tristan together.
"I agree to carry out the engagement and proposal process this weekend. But please, for marriage, give me two or three months beforehand to learn about Mario's personality."
"Two or three months? Are you sure? Won't your stomach grow bigger when you hold the wedding procession later?" he hesitated.
"Don't worry, Pa. It's not like the wedding will be held in private and will only be attended by family or core relatives, right? So it doesn't matter. I won't refuse Papa's request to get married, I'm just asking for a moment to prepare myself."
Raphael glanced first at Tristan. Ask the man's opinion about Aurorae's requirements just now.
"How's Tristan?"
"It doesn't seem to be a problem, Pa. Besides, Aurorae's womb is only a few weeks old, right? It doesn't matter if she wants to get married in a few months. While preparing everything, while learning to slowly adjust to Mario."
Hearing Tristan's explanation, Raphael finally made a decision. He agreed to what his daughter had asked for before.
"All right. Papa agrees. The results of this conversation will also be conveyed to Mario later. Now, you have to get ready because next weekend, your application process will take place."
