Argue
The next day, I didn't go down for breakfast because Cedrick and Elise were still there. I don't know if Elise still has plans to go home or if she will move in here. I just hope when that happens... Cedrick doesn't kick me out or at least give me a house even if it's a very small one. I'm content with one room and the kitchen, bed, and shower are all together.
The important thing is that I can study well and I can finish. When twelve o'clock came, I just took a shower and got dressed to leave. I just wore a red tank top and tucked it into black pants. I also put on my sandals with two inch heels before going to the location Trevor and I agreed on.
I eat lunch first so I'm sure I won't be hungry later. When I got to the kitchen, someone had already cooked a dish, which turned out to be Aling Marta. I took a plate and utensils. I put rice and pickles on my plate. I also saw a salad so I ate that afterwards.
Before I left, I brushed my teeth. Next, I went back to my room to get my red wallet as well as my cellphone before I left. The script only consumed one bond paper so I just put it in my wallet because most of it was Trevor's. Also the questionnaire for the respondents.
When I came out, Cedrick and Elise stood at the Credenza. Cedrick was topless and only wearing shorts while hugging Elise's back. They were both laughing with a certain topic I no longer have information about.
I continued to go out but on the other side so they wouldn't see me. I know they will volunteer again to take me to Trevor and I's meeting place. Never mind, I'm not young anymore.
I ran out of the gate and when the line of tricycles arrived, I got on one and told the place that Trevor suggested to me. It's not too hot because it's not summer anymore. My hair was still flying while inside so I gathered it in my palm so it wouldn't fly.
I held my breath. I thought when I came down Cedrick and Elise were gone but I was wrong because they are still there. It seems that they have no intention of letting go of each other. They always seem to miss each other.
I could always see them hugging inside the mansion over and over again!
I felt that the tricycle was about to stop so I got ready. When my driver pulled his car over to the side of the road, I just got off and paid, I also gave him a tip, you change one hundred. I looked around to find Trevor and from the other side of the road... I saw him. He was standing in front of his car with his hands in his pockets and now he was also looking at me. There was a look of surprise on his face that I don't know why.
I always don't know, huh?
I crossed the road to approach him. I was noisy because a speeding motorcycle might suddenly appear and I might get bumped. I stood next to Trevor but kept a distance between us. I looked at the far road.
"Where are we?" I asked him but didn't look at him.
"You ride in a tricycle. Your 'cousin' didn't drive you?" There is an emphasis on the word cousin as if he is implying something to me.
I didn't look at him and pushed aside the bangs blocking my forehead. "You saw it, didn't you?" I asked sarcastically.
He sighed. "Are you okay? Your eye is a little swollen." I was tormented by his question to me.
I let out a heavy puff of air, letting him know I was annoyed. "What time do we start? I don't want to waste time." There was a tinge of annoyance in my voice, ignoring what he just said earlier.
"Fine. Hop in, we're leaving." He said and walked to the driver's seat so my eyes widened.
"What?!" I couldn't help but scream.
"What's leaving? Isn't this what we talked about?!"
He gave me a lazy look as if he was afraid to lose to me. "This was just our meeting place. Look at the place, we can't interview anyone here." he said while looking around.
I followed what he said, he was right and there were only a few people in the area, it was still a factory and I was sure the respondent we were looking for was not here.
I sighed and stared at him in annoyance.
"You told me where the exact location was so I could go straight to that door and not here. But fine! Where is it?" I shut my eyes closed in annoyance.
He stared at my face before answering me. "No. I won't. If I will tell you... you will surely ride a tricycle yourself." He said with finality.
"Tell me because I can go there. I don't want to go with you." My eyes were on his shoulder, deliberately our eyes would not meet.
He walked towards the passenger seat and opened its door. "Hop in." He ordered me but I remained standing and lazily looking at his car.
"I need the address, not your car." I dreamed again.
"Just get in so we can leave." Trevor.
"Just tell me where so I can get out and we can get this over with!" I said laughing.
"Hope in."
"I won't ride there." I said with finality. Nah. I won't ever ride with you!
"Sherin..." Trevor's voice sounded a warning.
"Trevor, can you?! Just tell me so we can get started! It's already alive, oh! We're going to argue about it, huh?!" I couldn't stop my voice from rising.
He was surprised by my sudden yelling so his response was... "Sherin, can you?! There are a lot of drug addicts hanging around where we are going. Don't be stubborn!"
I don't know and it seems my head got hotter with what he said.
"Trevor, can you?! Stop insisting on me because I can do it on my own! You're the stubborn one here, huh! What is it to you if I get hurt? Are you afraid that your conscience will visits you?! Stop, please! Just do it! can you? ?! I'm just distancing myself like you said. Tell me where to end our mission here so you won't feel my presence by your side! I'm doing it right, right? Because the truth is you hate mine!" It's like my heart wants to explode with anger.
"What?"
"You heard everything didn't you?" I looked down and lazily turned to the side.
He sighed. "Sorry. But no matter how hard you try... I will never tell unless... We finally get there." Its condition.
I struggled a few times before deciding to lower my pride. I know we will never finish this as long as we both throw our pride higher. It was very impossible for Trevor to come down on both of us. I let out a heavy breath.
"Fine." I muttered my final decision.
I got into Trevor's car and fastened the seatbelt. My arms were crossed in front of me and I was staring evilly. I ignored Trevor until he started driving away. I was constantly breathing and I noticed that he also noticed it because he was constantly looking at me.
"Can you just please set aside your madness for now so we could do this job well done?" Trevor said that you thought that I was the reason for the two of us getting angry.
My eyes widened slightly. I taught myself. "Am I angry? Who started the madness here?Who started the fight? Shit. This is a damn hell. Please. Stop fucking talking to me!"
"And it's not allowed to say hello?" he asked and turned.
I laughed sarcastically and shook my head. He can talk and you thought it would be easy to give that to him.
"I will never do that. I might even ruin someone's future any creature in this world. It's scary, I'll be the one to blame for them shifting the course. I'll be sick for the rest of my life." I said mockingly while rolling my eyes.
"I'm serious Sherin." Trevor and I feel that he is really serious but I just can't apply that to him. I think... He no longer deserved it.
"I'm serious too Trevor." I sighed and looked out the window.
He sighed for the second time. "I'm just not used to you being so angry with me."
I couldn't stop letting out a very sarcastic laugh because of what he said. "So what do you want?! For me to be happy?! For me to laugh at this?! Smile?! Asshole. I hope you thought about that before you yelled at me then before, right?"
"Okay... Sorry..." He said it comfortably. As if he was used to this kind of situation.
I shook my head and stared at him even more. "I'm sorry too but... I can't be carried away by your sorry. You said it, didn't you? You don't like me. I don't like you either.
Let's not lock ourselves in a world that is suffocating us. It's hard to breathe, I say yours." I let out a very deep breath again because I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. "Let's not use plastic anymore." I'll add more.
He glanced at me and I saw it because of the rear view mirror in front. "That's why I apologized because... I was just carried away by my anger." His voice was full of persuasion and it almost reached my heart but I didn't really give up. I don't want to lower my pride.
He embarrassed me, no!
I turned to look at Trevor who I just did again. Our eyes met and I felt the mixed emotions in his black eyeballs. But I managed and continued talking to him harshly. "You know what I hated about men?" I asked, he raised his right eyebrow.
"Is when they were shouting at me, making me feel that they are regretful of getting closer to me. Are those who can't be able to control themselves when they were mad. And... that includes you Trevor. You are disappointing ."
"I know that." I know at this time he feels guilty.
I sighed again and leaned against the window. "I hope.... you've known that for a long time."
Just a few minutes later, Trevor and I reached the place where we were going to conduct the interview. I was surprised by the situation of the area, it was the informal settlers are and much worse compared to the scenes I usually saw on television. Trevor had almost nowhere to park his car earlier.
When we walked into the place, the men who were drinking greeted us who were in their opposite houses. We slowly walked until they got their attention. Trevor simply held my hands, making me nervous. "Good afternoon, ho! Let's just hang out," Trevor greeted the men who were drinking.
"Go ahead man!" One shouted.
"The woman is sexy, oh." I was horrified by what one of his companions whispered but Trevor and I both heard it.
"True!" Trevor turned to the man who called him by that nickname. From the reaction on his face, I knew he was surprised by this but he didn't show it. He just smiled at the man who you thought had known each other for a long time.
"What is that?" It's a comfortable question.
"Is she your girlfriend?" One asked with so much interest. I got more and more nervous. Terrified because of its scary tone.
Trevor tightened his grip on my hand. "Ah yes. We've been together for five years. Maybe next year, I'll marry her. I'm just saving up a bit." He brought me closer to him and I tried to act as if we were really in a relationship. I simply held his hand and I don't know if he can feel my trembling now but maybe... Yes... Because he looked at me and smiled and gave me a reassuring look.
