Frenemies, that's the word.
We weren't friends or enemies , sometimes it goes on and off.
He drove us to campus and the drive was super quiet.
His eyes were on the road, his ears were blocked by his airpod.
I was just staring into space , it felt like Asher was the one driving the car.
How did I end up like this again?.
My phone rang and the caller ID was unknown.
I reluctantly answered the call.
"Hi."
"Hey , please who's this?."
"Bitch , you can't even recognize my voice."
A smiled appeared on my face,"Tessa!."
I saw him give me a curious look through my side eye.
"I have missed you." I confessed.
"Oh, you aren't going to miss me anymore." She cheered.
"Huh?."
"I'm in New York."
I gasped in excitement and shock,"Shut....up..!!"
"I'm not done yet, I got off the wait list." She exclaimed.
"Oh my fucking gosh!, Congratulations, bitch , I'm so happy , I can't wait to see."
"You don't have to wait because I'm on campus , I just settled into my dorm, my roomie is nice , where are you ?."
"Ummm..I'm on my way to class, I will see you when I'm done."
"Okay , bitch."
"See ya lera." I grinned as I hung up.
I was happy for her.
Atleast, I got Tessa and Layla.

He parked the car and I got out, yeah , my coursemates were already mumbling.
He ignored them and walked into the lecture hall and left me.
I saw Jayden get out of his car.
He smiled at me, "Hey, you."
"You seem happy and you are glowing , this morning, what's the secret?." He questioned.
"Sperm."
His lips curved into a smirk,"So you guys finally had sex huh?."
"No, silly, we didn't , I'm happy because my highschool bestfriend just got in."
"Wow, I would love to meet her."
"So are you still mad at Riley?." I questioned, in an attempt to change the topic.
"Nope, I can't be mad at him , if Kim still likes him, it's her problem, I'm not the one who gonna be heartbroken." He shrugged.
"She's already heartbroken." I corrected.
"Yeah."
"You really liked her."
"Nor really , I was just starting to like her but then I can't like someone who's in love with someone else , I don't do love triangle." He stated.
"I see."
"So you slept over at his place?." He smirked.
"Something like that."
"So how did the night go?, You cuddled or?...."He inquired with an evil smile plastered on his face.
"Nothing like that happened, we just slept in separate rooms." I mentioned.
"Interesting." He said in a disbelief tone.
I rolled my eyes and pulled Jayden along into the hall.
Funny enough , Riley and Jayden actually acted as if nothing happened and went back to their broship , if that's a thing.
After lecture, I wanted to go straight to my dorm but then I remembered, my stuff was still at his place.
I rested my back on his car as I waited for him , he was obviously occupied by his girls.
He came out with a frown on his face when he saw me.
"Why are you still here?."
"I'm waiting for you."
"Why ?, We don't live together."
I rolled my eyes, " I know that , my stuff is at your place."
"Why didn't you bring it along?!."
"I can't come to class with things."
"Whatever, get in." He ordered.
"Please, hurry, Tessa's waiting for me." I told him.
"Who's Tessa?."
"My high school bestfriend."
"High school bestfriend." He gritted his teeth.
"I guess I'm the only one who's still in touch with their high school friends." I commented.
"Yeah, I would love to meet you." He smirked.
"Maybe, she has a nice personality and girlfriend potential."
"Good thing , I don't have your girlfriend potential, that would be a nightmare."
"Your nightmare is someone's else dream."
"I'm not sure that's how it's said."
He ignored me till we got to his house.
I hurriedly got out of the car to get my stuff.
"Why the rush?." He locked the door behind him.
"Apparently, you don't want me around so I'm leaving."
I reached for the door to open it but he didn't want that to happen.
"Riley, move."
"No."
"Why?!."
"Yesterday, we were alone and we didn't get the chance to do anything." He gave me a very naughty sexy look as he licked his lips.
"We got the chance but we didn't do anything." I corrected.
"So you wanted to do something." He smirked.
"No."
"What's wrong with you?, Few minutes ago, you didn't want me around and now, you don't want me to leave." I frowned.
"Who said any of that." He slowly walked towards me.
He unbuttoned his shirt and loosed his belt.
What does he want to do?.
His action made my heart race so fast.
"Riley, what do you think you are doing?."
"Taking off my clothes, this is my house, remember." He gave me the duh look.
I mouthed an "Oh."
A smirk appeared on his face,"You thought...."
"I didn't think about anything." I cut him short.
"I need to go."
"Wait."
"I will drop you off."
Gentleman like.
"Why?."
"I want to see Tessa."
I didn't know why I got pissed when he said he wanted to see Tessa.
"I need to take a shower....."
He stated as if he was waiting for me to join him.
"Okay."
I opened the door and decided to wait in the car.
He later came out dressed in a black tee and Jean.
The sun rays made him look more attractive than ever.
I should really stop staring at him, I might slip and fall in love.
I should harden my heart more because we are getting too friendly for my liking.
As soon as he got into the car, I fell in love with cologne.
Okay, this isn't good.
I called to tell Tessa that I was on my way.
"So, is Layla back or?."He queried.
"How would I know?!." I shot back.
"Woah, it was just a harmless question, what's up with you?, did you just start your period or something?." He eyed me.
"No! , Why can't you drive and leave me alone?!."
"I'm just trying to be friendly."
"Well, I don't want you to!." I barked.
"Why?."
"Isn't it obvious?!, I don't want us to be friends with you, one minute, we are enemies, then, we are frenemies then friends then I catch stupid feelings for you and you will break my heart!." I vented out without thinking.
His face held surprise, "Wow."
"So you don't want to be friends with me because you are scared that you will fall in love with me?."
"Yes, that's if I ever catch feelings for you, I won't let that happen."
"Why do you even think I would want to hurt you?."
"Because you are a player."
"Fact but I haven't you read about stories where a girl changes a player." He tried to make me happy.
I rolled my eyes,"That's not real, that's just Wattpad syndrome."
"Just forget it, I don't want to be friends with you and we can't be a thing, it's just going to be toxic." I stated.
"Fine, then." He shrugged.
My heart broke.
I didn't know what was going on but I wanted him even though he was toxic for me.
The drive to campus was silent and awkward.
We finally got there and as soon as I got out of the car, I saw my bestfriend grinning like someone who just got an award.

I knew her type of girls, they are good at denying their feelings and hardening their heart so they won't fall but I couldn't judge her, she must have a bad record in the love department.
Maybe, Cupid made a mistake by shooting her wrong arrow to a dumb fuck.
I didn't really care, she was right after all.
I can't imagine being in a relationship with her.

I decided to drive her back to her dorm because I didn't want her around, anymore.
Considering the fact that she ruined my night, I decided to see her friend, maybe she would be the next to fall for my charms since it wasn't working on poisoned Ivy.
Tessa was a brunette, she had freckles which were cute.
She was attractive although she didn't have grey eyes like Ivy.
Her whole face lit up when she saw me.
She accessed me from head to toe, she gave me a freaky look which was....
Her presence made me forget that Ivy was around.
I noticed her facial expression, it held a deadly look.
I stifled a laugh as I smirked, she didn't have to make it so obvious that I had an eye on her friend.
"You never told me you got back with Asher?."Tessa whispered to Ivy but I could hear her.
Who's Asher?.
"You know better than that, I won't and he's not Asher, he just looks like him." She responded.

Tessa bit her lips at me, "Nice."
We got into Tessa's dorm and her roommate wasn't around.
I decided to spite her, make her jealous to see if she likes me.
"Ivy, you never told me that she was cute and sexy at the same time." I licked my lips.
"Don't get ahead of yourself, she's bisexual."
As if that's a problem.
"You know I like girls who like girls." I smirked.
"He's hot...why haven't you made him yours yet?." she whispered asked Ivy.
"Ewww... I don't want him to be mine plus I don't want another Asher in my life." I heard her say.
She must really hate that dude.
"I'm not him." I stated.

"This might be another chance for Asher to treat you right in what's your name again?." She asked.

"Wow, nice name, your name is the perfect match for the ship name, Rilvy!."

I laughed, she really hates the idea of us being a thing.
"Relax, it takes two to play a game, I don't want any Rilvy so there won't be." I assured her.

"Ivy!, be nice to him."

"We know you are only being rude to him because anytime you see him, you remember Asher."

"You know it isn't easy, seeing him and having flashbacks."She cried.

" He does not even help matters sometimes because he can be so arrogant and annoying."
I did not want to say a word, I just kept quiet as I watched her.
" You know it's unfair when you pass aggression to someone else right?. "Tessa questioned.
" I know that, Riley, please just leave."
"I'm sorry."
"I'm used to it already, bye, Tessa." I smiled at her and she waved me goodbye while Ivy had hatred in her eyes for me.
I got home and met Trisha.
"Welcome."
"Welcome back as well." I smiled at her.
"You seem to be in a happy mood." She hopped on the couch and sat next to me.
"Not really, someone's action made me laugh."
"Who?."
"Ivy."
"Oh, the same who can make you angry and happy at the same time."

"She acted childish that's why."
She mouthed an "OH" and I nodded.
"Are you hungry?, I can bring your food if you want." She stated.
"Yeah but I'm hungry for something else." I licked my lips and my eyes went to her boobs.
Her brain clicked once and she took off her bralette to reveal her breast.
I smirked, something to relieve my stress.
