Chapter 111 Red Eyes

And now, almost hundreds were in from the curiosity that builds them... they were curious after hearing nothing from the inside. Neither signs of a battle nor the sound of a gun... it seems nothing's happening but no one from the inside has ever made it out yet.

Now I'm confused, how could the hundreds of men try to fit into that house!?

Only 5 men were left outside, two of them are wearing a white suit which, if I may conclude are their bosses. I can sense their curiosity, and they were also absolutely upset!

"No!!!" I heard a shout coming from the house and saw a man running, trying to get outside with terrifying fear. When he reaches the doorframe, I was about to shoot him but... I was shocked! He falls down on the ground, lying on his back!

"Shit!" "Fucking shit!" The two men in white suits cursed after seeing their lifeless man lying near the doorframe with... a dagger on the back of his head!

They run towards the house in fast speed and madness but when they reach the door, they suddenly halted, glued on their spot and then the next thing I saw, they were shivering in fear... they must have seen the monster.

"Oh... no..." One of their bosses said in low voice but I heard him from here because of the silent night.

"The... the... Silence-." The other boss tried to say but before he finishes his last word. A bullet passed through his forehead, making him fall down. Dead.

"Run for your lives!!" The remaining boss shouted and run, the other three followed him and this is my cue. I fired my gun two times at the guy in a white suit and at the guy wearing a black suit who tried to run towards the red car.

While the other two men also falls down. Dead, after receiving shots from... Jacob whose wearing a serious face walking towards them with a Silencer gun in his hand... his eyes... it was different from before...

The jolly and funny Jacob I knew turned the otherwise... a cold one.

Xenon's POV

I opened my eyes to see an unfamiliar place... where am I? I've never been here before. Looking around, it seems like an old mansion, I can see antiques but suddenly my attention was caught after hearing cries.

I followed the sound of cries... until my feet took me in front of a... door. I opened it and saw stairs towards the... basement?

My heartbeat started hammering fast, I think it will explode any minute. I don't know why, but I felt... intense fear.

It's too dark but thankful a ray from the moonlight passes through the window glass below that gives a little amount of light. The cries were continuous, I walked down ignoring the rapid beating of my heart and the shivers that run down my spine.

When I stepped down on the last stair... I was shocked to see a... little girl!? I felt pity for her. Her head hangs low supported by her knees, still sobbing. But, what made me more shocked is the situation she was in... she was filled with chains... I can see dried blood in her ripped white shirt. However, I can't see her face.

I felt my eyes getting blurry from the small amount of water that covers it. I wiped my cheek and looked at my hand, a tear.

"Help me..." I immediately looked at the little girl after hearing her soft murmurs, but her position is still the same, curved in a ball.

I slowly walked towards her but when I was reaching her, I heard footsteps from behind. I immediately turned my back and to my surprise, a man with a head of a shadow is holding a bloodied bat. He was walking too fast towards the little girl and...

"Noooooo!!!!" I yelled when he hit the little girl with a bat too hard! He was torturing her! The man's head slowly turned to face me, even with just the shadow I can feel him looking at me... in anger.

I gasped and looked at my surroundings to see another unfamiliar house.

Standing up "Where am I?" I whispered more to myself and started walking to... I don't know where... I'm just following where my feet take me. While walking I can see dead people... they were all lifeless, with blood flowing out from their heads... they were headshots. What happened to them??

Fear. The only word that could describe me right now... "Claire..." her name just came out of my mouth probably because of fear that I needed her right now. I need her comfort, her touch... her-

I stopped, my eyes widen from the scene in front of me... dead people around and... a person wearing a dark suit is standing in the middle! That person has surely killed them!

It was wearing a big hood with head hang low which made it all covered that I can't see anything even a glimpse of its face!

"Who are you? Why did you kill them?" I asked, my voice came out low sounding like a hoarse whisper.

But the person didn't answer me, instead, it slowly looked up facing me, and once again... I shivered, hearing my heart beating too loud that might come out anytime soon.

Out of fear, I stepped back with my face wearing an unexplainable expression! A shadow inside the hood is looking at me! And from the look in its eyes, I immediately recognized who it was... the Silencer with full of anger and revenge.

The eyes that are blazing with fire... are staring at me.

I stepped back once more not knowing that there is a dead person I stepped through which made me stumble back.

I closed my eyes waiting for the impact to happen but - "Run for your lives!!"

I opened my eyes gasping and breathing uncontrollably, panting in tiredness and fear. I sit up when I got recovered and looked at my surroundings, it was dark but with the help of the moonlight rays, I could see a little.
