Chapter 112 Nightmare
Sighing in relief "It was just a dream." I murmured to myself but though it seems so real. I shook the thoughts out of my head, it was a nightmare.
I tapped the place beside me where she was probably lying but my heartbeat started pounding once again. "Claire," I said.
I suddenly stand up after feeling the comforter slightly cold. Knowing it wasn't used for over hours. Where could she be? I looked at the time clock on the table but it doesn't work. Brownout??
Curiosity filled me. If it's brownout then where could she go at this time of hour?
I walked to my door and opened it. "Claire?" I called softly, careful not to wake the others.
I started walking in the hallway and then I saw a silhouette of a person. I sighed in relief knowing it was Claire's posture and small figure. She was walking towards me but suddenly from the back of a wall... a small figure just falls to the side of the ground, which is straight from my position.
What was it? I can't see it clearly because of the dark.
Claire stopped right on that spot and kicked that particular thing to be hidden back behind the wall.
I was frozen on my spot from the shadows of the moonlight... I saw it clearly.
"Xenon...? You must be still tired. Let's go back inside?" Claire said softly like an angel whispering in my ears that flows through my bones and her touches on my cheek sends tingles on my body.
I nodded not knowing what to say. I was like a puppet when she grabbed my hand and dragged me softly back to my room. From the light rays of the moon, I saw her dress... the same as she used earlier.
What happened when I was sleeping?
Did I just hallucinate earlier?
She laid down on the bed and motioned me to lay with her. I did not think twice as my mind was clouded by questions, so I obeyed.
'What was it?' I asked impatiently at Ricky.
'It was... a marble.' He whispered the last words wearing an unexplainable expression but it was too clear for us to hear. I heard the others gasped but I was frozen on my spot... remembering Claire's marbles.
She immediately wrapped her arm around me and hovered closer. I can feel her warm touch... her comfort. The best place I wanted to last is the place beside her... even where life will take us... I wanted to be with her... only with her.
But... the figure of that thing she just kicked earlier behind the wall never leaves my memory, it keeps on replaying.
The figure of a... hand... that creeps the hell out of me!
I looked at her sleeping face... a face of an angel... how come she fall asleep that fast!?
I sighed "Who really... are you?" I asked barely a whisper ensuring she couldn't hear.
Did she do it? Did she kill those men on the bar?
What did she do earlier?
Why did she disappear for hours?
Curiosity keeps on building up on me... but I don't want to know the answers.
I don't want to know... however I can't help myself from knowing.
She's my first love... she completes me.
And she's my everything.
I don't want to lose her.
I closed my eyes trying to sleep but my eyes suddenly opened when the memory of my dreams popped on my head.
The Silencer... why?
Why did I dream of you?
I wrapped my arms around Claire, feeling her warmth just when darkness filled my essence.

Venice Claire's POV
I can feel it... a new feeling the builds back on me. A feeling of nervousness, I don't want him to know, I don't want him to discover... it's too early.
"Who really... are you?" I heard him whisper.
I can't help it... he is eager to know but surely he's waiting for me.
And that's one of the million reasons why I love him.
He is the only person who made this monster feeling... love.
I softly sniffed his scent, the scent that pulled us together, meeting each other for the first time.
Then darkness took over.

Blake's POV
"Woah! That was cool Jacob!" Jake cheered to Jacob as he tapped his shoulder.
But we all turned shocked when Jacob shoved his hand and walked towards the house.
"Hey! Do you want to die?" I asked following him, we are not sure if it is already safe.
"All enemies are dead. It's safe." He stated using a serious tone.
We all nodded in understanding including the two who were out of dazed.
"What happened to him?" Blue whispered to me.
"He saw it," I said emphasizing the word it. I knew they know what I mean.
"Shit!" Jake cursed.
"Asshole," Blue murmured, we told him many times not to look back, but it seems like he did.
"That's what he gets for disobeying," I said as we got closer to the door.
"The others must still be sleeping," Jake said.
"I'm sure of it. It sounds too peaceful." Blue agreed.
"Jacob, you go turn on the lights," I ordered, without any words he went towards the switch on the basement.
Not long after the lights turned on... and we all gasped.
"What... the... heck!?" Jake exclaimed.
"She is really a... monster." Blue shook his head not believing the scene he saw in front.
"This..." Is hell.
"... will gonna be a long night." Jacob continued my words walking near us with a look that can't be deciphered. This is the first time he talked after the mission.
Once again I looked at the surroundings... many numbers of dead people and a flood of blood that covered the floor it even reached the stairs.
A terrifying event has only been done... by a monster.
A monster hiding in a figure of an... angel.
