Chapter 16 Scent

"I want to see what will happen if I take the leash out of her." He said and I sensed the smirk out of him.

I ignored them as I closed my eyes, take a deep breath, and opened it once again. I looked around and see a big black motorcycle with a helmet on top, I smirked.

I came near and jumped on it, I never drive any vehicle nor driving a motorcycle. But I'm not an idiot for not knowing how to drive it. I put the helmet on and closed my eyes as I remember what I've watched on TV on how the man started his motorcycle.

I did the same and it started, just perfect! I drive it with just proper control and balance.

When I got used to it, I went for a fast drive enjoying the breeze of fresh air.

As I passed by in a city proper with many high buildings. I suddenly came to an abrupt halt, that smell... It's very similar to the boy's scent.

I decided to ignore it but suddenly my motorcycle made a U-turn and I didn't realize myself going to where the scent is coming from.

I stopped near the entrance of a big building, it's a toy company...

I take out a circular metal from my secret pocket and looked at it. It has been years and I don't even know why I still have it in me. I put it back, then I tried sensing the smell again and according to my calculation it's coming from the top, rooftop to be exact.

I looked up and after a moment I saw a muzzle of a sniper gun, I looked clearly and I'm absolutely right.

When a limousine stopped not far from me, I decided to start my engine and run my motorcycle. Not long after, I heard a shot. I don't want to get involved in their business.

So, I decided to continue going home.

I parked my motorcycle and jumped out, I walked towards the mansion. The lights are off but I can sense their presence. I opened the door, I can't see them but I knew they're here.

I closed the door and looked for the switch when I turned on the lights, I took out my knife and get ready when I heard a sudden small explosion "Surprise!" Mom and Carlo shouted in sync.

I immediately hide my knife when I realized it's just a popper stick, they used to surprise me.

"Tch." I looked around and see that there is a banner with the words 'Welcome Home! Happy 18th Birthday!'

"Happy birthday, sweetie! Welcome home." Mom hugged me tightly but then pulled out and followed by Carlo "Happy Birthday Veny!" I pulled out of the hug because of his endearment.

"Stop calling me that," I said as I walked towards the dining area to see the prepared foods on the table.

"What? I can call you whatever I want and, I love the nickname." He said smirking, I looked at him blankly. Carlo changed a lot he earned more muscles and good looks, his eyes are hazel with a height of 6'2.

This guy is very protective and caring. He treated me as his little sister and never leaving my side on Sunday.

What's worse about him is he always brag about his girls, don't get me wrong but this guy is so annoying! All I heard from him, is his bachelor life. He's a chickboy!

"Tch." I ignored him and take my seat at the table to dig in, I didn't realize mom take a seat beside me.

"Sweetie, I miss you so much!" She caressed my hair gently. I swallowed the food "I miss you too mom." I looked at her, her eyes held longings. I sensed that Carlo takes a seat in front of me.

"I don't want to cut your lovely moment, but I'm hungry! So let's all eat!" He beamed.

"Okay, Let's eat!" Mom said and filled her plate with spaghetti, her favorite.

"You know Veny, I was so hungry but your mom won't let me eat until you're home. She's so scary." He whispered in my ear but mom heard him and earned a glare from her.

He looked down and started digging on his food. I smirked and continue eating.

Days have passed, Carlo and Mom tried every day to make me laugh, but they look like idiots. They are so annoying.

Sometimes we got out in our private places. But, I prefer staying here in the house.

I created medicines, a cream to closed up my wounds and scars. The scars in my body are not so visible, so it's effective.

I created poisons using venom out of other dangerous animals. Well, I made the most dangerous poison that can kill a person in an instant. I also created the antidote for it...

I also created antidotes that can suppress any kind of poison. I even created vaccines for any kind of viruses out of my boredom.

I made a secret room for my weapons and my experiments. My sharp weapons are very dangerous because I put poison in them.

No one knows about my experimentation.

I have a mission once a month that's why I have so much time that I keep myself doing my experiments.

It's been two months since I stayed here and now, I'm feeling unwell... My body is looking for pain, it yearned for pain.

I was immune to pain, every day. That today, my body is hysterical, yearning for it. Pain is like my drug...

I forced Carlo to fight with me, at first he was hesitant, but then after convincing him he understands and fought with me.

It happened daily, I'm training him for me to receive pain. But my body is not satisfied.

I decided to do it on my own, early morning, I went out with my big bike until it reached a forest.

I jumped out of my motorcycle and hide it then I started running, I run and run until my body surrender but it did not.

After 6 hours I heard a call, it's the phone my mom bought for me last month. I looked at the caller, Carlo, I answered it.

"Thank God, at last, you pick up your phone! Where the hell are you?" He's yelling now, frustrated maybe.

"Out for a run," I said simply.

"Will you please next time, let me know so that I'm not worried sick of you!" He sighed. Then continued "Can you come home for lunch?" He's calm now.

"Yes," I stated simply.

"Good, mom prepared food for our lunch. Come home now." He said and I ended the call.

My body is still not satisfied. I should look for the other way.
