Chapter 31 His Mission

The view is very clear from here. While on the other building just in front of it, I can sense a person in an unused hotel room, the light is off but I can sense Xenon is talking to the person in there.

In the middle of that two buildings, below down there I can see... Lucas? He's with a middle-aged man in a suit, but there are also men following them.

My eyes are clear especially if there's a light. Lucas and the man are talking. Then, chaos happened.

Xenon and the guy in the hotel room fired while Lucas lay on his stomach on the ground and roll down to the side of a car, he gets inside the back seat and the car run away. They're good and fast.

All the men below died. I looked back at Xenon, he's putting the sniper back to the case. When he stands up and started walking towards the door, it suddenly burst open and six armed men came inside pointing their guns at him. Trapped.

Did they fail or it was a frame-up? He's trapped. Even if he's fast, a human speed can't kill them all at the same time. But, I'm not human, I considered myself not. Five men trapped him while the other one locked the door.

He's dead or wounded if he can bear 4 or more shots. They're experts. So, those are the only result for that case because even Carlo can't get away with that, without my help.

My help... Why should I help him? Because he can help you. Should I let him die? No, because you need him. What if he can't help me? What if he can? Oh, forget it.

I saw Xenon put down the case and raised his arms. A surrendering gesture. That's a way to make it last.

A guy came in front of him and punches him in the face, while falling down he took it as a chance to get his gun from his secret pocket. Everything went so fast.

He shot the man who punched him and catches the body before it falls down and used it as a shield. Guns are around the rooftop.

He shoots two men who tried to shoot him. I just watched, I wanted to know how he fights and he's good.

But the moment a bullet hit him near his lower abdomen, I felt my eyes turned dark. I really did intentionally let it happen, but I wasn't expecting my eyes to react.

He shoots but he can't handle the other three from different directions as those three motioned to pull the trigger of their guns at the same time. However, before they completely pulled the trigger, they're dead. Yes, I shoot them.

Xenon is battling with the last man standing, but he still thinks there are remaining men. When he killed it, he looked around the rooftop. Shocked, and he stumbled for a moment but suddenly he became curious. Confused. I can sense it.

He looked around the area specifically around the high places. I'm amazed he sensed me here, I am standing in a dark place and my clothes contrasted with the shadows but he looked at my place as he raised his hand which is holding a walkie-talkie.

When he started talking in it, I let myself fall from the tower. The moment his friends come here, I'm long gone. He can't see me falling as I fell at the backside of the tower.

When I'm near the ground I hold a thin metal from the tower using my hands to support my body's weight as I jumped once again and landed on the ground smoothly.

I jumped at my black Ducati and then suddenly I heard a car coming, but my black Ducati is far when the car stopped near the tower.

At this kind of hours they are outside of the school on a mission and to think that I saw them not just once but more than twice. Only the head of the school can let the students in and out if it's not Saturday or Sunday.

There are only two options I know, whether they're working for the head or they are related to the head. I smirked, time to know.

It's not my business, so why should I know? He's now a business. And why? I don't know. All I know is that something is pulling me to know him. It's pulling me into him.

No, I don't. I shouldn't. But my feet are leading me towards the administration office. So I go with it. I went to the students' files room, it was easy. I unlocked the door of the room and started searching for the files, the closet for the files is also locked, but I unlocked it in a second. I started searching for their names. It's not here... I wake up when I heard cries, I looked at it to see Cassy. She was crying... When she saw me awake, she immediately hugged me.

She pulled out and faced me "I thought you left us. I thought you got annoyed by me. I th-" she said in between her sobs but I cut her off.

"I won't go. Just promise me, avoid asking questions about me." I stated looking at her.

She nodded quickly.

"Now, I wanna go back to sleep. Stop crying." I turned my body, back facing her.

"Yes ma'am!" She beamed, smiling widely.

It's 5 am and Drena was already cooking in the kitchen.
