Chapter 74 Lost in Fear

Xenon's POV

I miss her... I looked at my phone and saw her destination at the field. Strange... they should be on the rooftop by now.

I walked towards the field and when I'm near, I heard two girls gossips.

"We should be more careful these days." One of the girls said.

"Those three girls earlier are very unfortunate. How did those kidnappers get inside this school?" When I heard those words I stiffened. Three girls.

I run faster towards the destination of her phone on the field but then I saw nothing. I did not see her. My heart started pounding so fast. Oh, shi*!

I searched for her phone and found it inside the bushes. "Damn it!" I tightened my hold on her phone and run faster towards the mansion while calling Adrian.

"Dude! What's up?" Adrian asked coolly.

"Where the hell are you!?" I yelled in anger while running.

"Getting rid of Simon. He's difficult! Why? What happened!?" He said but suddenly turned panicked from the urgency in my voice.

"Where's Drena?" I asked but I'm hella scared!

"I don't know. She's with the other girls I think." Worry laced on his voice and I sensed him running as well.

"Three girls got kidnapped earlier and I saw Claire's phone in the bushes! Damn it! Call the others. Let's see each other in the mansion." And I ended the call.

"Claire!!" I called the moment I opened the door of the mansion. I'm frustratingly in panic!

"She's not here," Zoey said calmly as she got out of their room.

"Xen! Adrian told me what happened. Have you seen them?" Coby barged in, fear is evident on his face.

"No, I haven't. Where's Lucas?" I hurriedly asked.

"He's on his way." He said holding his temple.

I called Lucas "Xen, what's the update?" Worry laced on his voice the moment he answered the phone.

"Find those witnesses who saw the kidnapping earlier. Gather the information." I said.

"Wait! Claire got kidnapped!?!?" Zoey exclaimed partly angry. She must also be worried about her cousin.

"I hope not but I can't reach Cassandra and they weren't on the rooftop," Coby stated in sadness and fear.

My heart is pounding faster and I think it will explode anytime soon. Thinking of her in Baron's hand, just... agh! It's making me furious! I throw the vase near me. I can't control the anger coming out on me.

"Oh my gosh! Why did they go on an adventure without me!?!?!" Zoey exclaimed crying as she runs towards her room. "I hate her!!"

Getting kidnap is an adventure for her? And worse she wanted to join them!? She's crazy!

We are slowly killing Baron's men without him noticing but I think he knows, he just doesn't care because his focus was turned into something. However, he must have avenged it through the girls. We tried gathering information from those men but they are difficult, they never give up so we killed them.

"Claire... hang on," I said to no one, mad at myself. I did not take good care enough of her... "It won't happen if not for my stupidity!" I exclaimed punching the wall.

"Xen, what now? I looked anywhere but found no single clues of their whereabouts..." Adrian said in sadness and fear the moment he got inside. He's also freaking worried for them especially for Drena.

"Go to the gate. Look for anyone if ever they've seen the kidnappers got out." I said using my cold voice.

He nodded and run outside. "Coby, try searching possible places he can hide the girls." He nodded and walked away.

He wants war, I'll give him war. Now, I don't care if he held Adrian's sister, he should not touch my girl... and I walked outside.

Venice Claire's POV

The guy named Al let go of my collar stepping back while shivering in fear. "Y-y-you M-monster!!" He stumbled and fall down. Lost in fear.

I smirked. It's your monster.

I looked at the men, this time not deadly but my eyes are dark and cold. "Oh shi*!" Don fired his gun and followed by the others but with just swift motion, I pinned Don on the wall choking him and with just a snap. I let him fall down. Dead.

"Agh!" I heard Cassy exclaimed in fear, I looked at the girls. Their eyes held fear... Cassy is covering her mouth scared from the scene she just witnessed. Drena on the other hand is utterly speechless but fear is written in her eyes.

My friends are scared of me because... I'm a monster.

I looked at the men and saw them speechless, glued at their spot. "Who-who are you?" Manny asked.

"Die bitch!" The second man who came earlier tried to stab me from behind. I don't want to see Xenon cry again so I dodged and swiftly punched him in the stomach. But he tried to hold a part of my upper shirt before he was totally thrown on the wall and vomited blood until he laid down on the ground. Dead.

My upper checkered uniform was ripped and a part of my fitted sleeveless is visible including the... symbol of Tarre on my upper chest.

The girls gasped once again. "Cl-Claire.." I heard Drena whispered and I can sense tears falling from her eyes while Cassy is totally speechless but I can sense them shivering in fear including all the men in here.

I'm sorry. It seems like I will lose friends today.

"What the fuck!" The men fired their guns except that Manny who was glued on his spot, speechless.

I run and jumped twisting the head of the other man and throws a dagger at the other. Headshot. Two tried to run in fear when they recognized who I am.

I jumped back tumbling on the air and blocked the door "Where are you going?" I asked coldly. But, they aren't nice because they tried to stab me using their knives.
