Chino seemed like hyperventilating because of his muffled shouts while moving his body in a very awkward manner. His hand is on his mouth while stomping his feet on the floor. I just rolled my eyes at his sight.

Here comes the most difficult and arrogant guy I ever know-none other than the great Maverick Fuentebella, the infamous business tycoon and a hotel magnate.

"Girl! He will make all the famous actors today quit their careers. He will give all those models and hunk actors a run for their money. At the back of my mind, I can't help but notice all he's pointing out about the virile man who is just meters away from us. He's gracefully walking through groups of people while wearing that certain air of confidence on his shoulders. Damn, the man got undeniable charms.

He's wearing a casual jeans and black shirts underneath the black leather jacket paired with Versace sneakers. I saw him took off his jacket and casually put on the back of the high chair leaving me a view of his muscular arms. Those strong arms would surely make a perfect heat pack during cold seasons. When I first met Maverick during an auction, I thought he earned those muscles from going to the gym and working out just like most of the men here. "Nah, I'm just admiring his physique, that's all," I answered defensively.

"You are really stupid. Why did you even let that opportunity pass? You should have gripped it as tight as you can the moment it was given to you. Girl, he can take you to literal cloud nine and seventh heaven. Think about it, he’ll give you multiple orgasms plus thousands of dollars. What more can you ask for?”

"He is just like any man who offered me the same thing. In fact, Senator Velasco’s bid is higher than him. So why should I pick him over those men? Tell me Chino. What makes him different from all of them? He's just like all of them."

I gave a meaningful look at the bar area of the club where our boss is seated on the high stool while talking to a bouncer. She's signaling the start of the program.

"You know Femella, sometimes I think to myself that you don’t really belong in here. You're too intelligent for this industry. You are like a diamond in the rough. Why don’t you leave this place and find another source of income? I'm sure you can find a better job other than this."

"Why? What's wrong with being in the sex industry? Why would I leave when I know I'm good at this? Seducing billionaire men is quite of a job, Chino."

He went silent for a second.

"You’re right. If I may compare it, girls like you earn much more money when compared to other professionals.”

My gaze went back to the table. It’s as if there is a magnetic attraction that pulls me back to the direction of Maverick. My heart skipped a beat when I caught him staring at me, too. He grinned and winked at me.

I raised my glass as a form of greeting.

"But be honest with me, pretty. You are attracted to him the first time he approached you. You were just turned-off because of the way he laid down his proposal."

"Hmmmm." I shrugged my shoulders and turned my back.

"Come Chino. Help me get dressed. The queen's about to claim her throne again."
