Ignorance

After taking a bath, I came out of the washroom. My eyes went to Alex, he was lost in his thoughts and smiling like an idiot. I smiled and went toward him.

"Why are you smiling like an idiot?" I teased him but he didn't reply. I tap on his shoulder.

"Alex"

"Yeah"

"Where are you lost? you also go and freshen up" I giggled. He looked at me with his breathtaking smile and stood up then he held my hand and pulled me closer. His mere touch was enough to send a shiver down my whole body.

"I love the way you react to my touch" He whispered in my ear and sucked my earlobe.

"Alex," I moaned. He distanced himself and kissed my forehead.

"I love you, Sano"

"I want to talk to you about us... about our relationship" I mumbled. His smile vanished and a line of stress formed on his head.

"Don't worry... I'm not leaving you" I said. He sighed and nodded his head. "First you take bath then we will talk"

"Okay," He muttered and took out his clothes from the wardrobe, and went to take a bath. I sighed and sat on the bed. I still couldn't believe that everything got sorted out between me and Alex.

I thought that I lost him. I lost the only person in my life.

"Maya '' I called her in the hope that she would respond but no response came. I stood up from the bed and went outside. I'm starving as I didn't eat anything last night.

I was roaming in the house in search of a kitchen. That's when my eyes went on a girl and by looking at her, I can say that I saw her somewhere but I couldn't remember when and where. I went to her.

"Hello," I mumbled. Her eyes widened after seeing me and the next thing that happened was unexpected to me she pushed me a little and ran away from the side. I was dumbstruck.

"Luna" I turned and found Max standing at a little distance. He came to me and bowed his head in respect.

"I hope you won't mind if I call you Luna," He asked in a harsh tone.

"No.. it's... it's all right" I stammered feeling scared when he was glaring at me in anger. His eyes were enough to tell me that he is pissed at me but why? What did I do?

"Do you need something, Luna?" he asked.

"I was searching for a kitchen"

"You can call any maid, she would have served you food," He said and looked at my hand. I was scratching the back of my palm with my nails because of nervousness. "come with me"

I nodded and started following him. I gathered courage and finally asked him.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked. He stopped and looked at my side.

"What are you expecting from me after the stunt you played last night?" He scoffed. I bow my eyes down in embarrassment.

"He is angry at me because I didn't come to the Luna ceremony. '' I mumbled to myself.

"Did I say that?" He frowned. I stumbled hearing his angry voice but before I could fall, he held my hand and then made me stand straight.

"Yes, I was mad at you before because you didn't come to the Luna ceremony but when I saw you crying and holding Irene, my anger flew away" I looked at him.

"Then what is the reason that you're mad at me?" I asked.

"Because you tried to take your life last night. Thanks to Irene that she came on time otherwise... I don't even want to think about it" He growled.

"What?" I widened my eyes hearing the voice of my mate and then closed my eyes in anticipation of his reaction. I don't know how but I always recognise his voice and I feel his presence around me. Alex yanked me with my arm.

"Sana" He called me Sana, which is enough indication for me that he is pissed at me. I opened my eyes and looked at him.

"What was Max saying?" He asked. I again started scratching the back of my hand because of nervousness. Alex holds my hand.

"Don't hurt yourself and answer me" He frowned.

"I… I was disturbed last night or say not in my sense." I stammered. He was glaring at me. I free my hand from his hand.

"you were not in your senses so what you did" He scrawled. I didn't reply and bowed my eyes.

"I asked what you did Sana" He yelled, making me flinch. I hide behind Max because of fear.

"Alex, calm down... you're scaring her"

"How could I?" He frowned. I hold Max's arms tightly like a little sister in fear.

"It's right to get angry at what she did but you're scaring her," Max said. Tears fell from my eyes.

"How could you think of doing something like this, Sano?" He asked and I felt his voice numb and soft like he is trying his best not to break down in front of Max.

I came out of Max and look at Alex, who was staring at me with a painful expression, indicating to me that he is hurt because of my stupid act. I went to him and was about to hold his hand but he moved back.

"Alex" he turned his face to the other side. Tears were continuously falling from my eyes.

"I don't want to talk to you anymore," He said and went in a different direction. I kept looking into him from behind, not understanding what I should do.

"I'm sorry... I was so engrossed in talking to you that I didn't realise when Alex came" Max apologised. I didn't reply to him and wiped my tears. I was about to go behind Alex but he held my hand. I turned and looked at my hand which he was holding and then glared at Max angrily.

"I'm sorry Luna" He immediately left my hand. "Alpha is not in a good mood and when the person is angry he or she will never listen to what the other person wants to say. Give him some time, ``he said. I nod and again look at the side where Alex went.

"Again we fought... Don't know why everything can't go smoothly between us. why can't we spend our time peacefully without hurting each other" I thought and a tear fell from my eyes

"You haven't eaten anything... Please have something" Max said with concern.

"I'm not hungry anymore," I said and wiped my tears. I went in the direction of Alex and my room. I was about to enter the room when I felt someone following me. I turned but there was no one. Maybe it was just a misconception. I went inside the room and closed the door.

I sat on the bed thinking about Alex, again indirectly hurting him. Sometimes I wonder if I deserve a gem like him. He gives me all happiness and here I always ended up upsetting him. I heard the sound of the door opening. I look towards the door. Alex was standing there.

"Come and have breakfast" He muttered. I stood up from the bed.

"Alex I'm sorry."

"I don't like to repeat myself, Sana," He said. Tears brimmed in my eyes but I controlled them. He moved outside the room and I followed him silently without saying anything as I don't want him to anger him.

We went to the dining area. He served for himself and then called a maid who started serving me. During this whole time, he didn't even look at me for once. The thing that he was angry at me was not painful enough, moon goddess that now I have to bear his ignorance also.

I don't want to admit it but now he has become important to me and his ignorance is killing me.
