"And why's that?" I asked and she growled darkly.

"It's your fault!" She spat.

"My fault?!" I snarled and the girl glared and bared her fangs at me.

"Yes! He loved you and he rejected me--" she started.

"Because you're a slut!" I howled, "I had nothing to do with it! I didn't know he was your mate! He rejected you because of your actions!" I spat and my voice rose.

"You messed with me for so long because of him! You fucked my mate because of that?!" I growled and she snarled softly.

"I hate you." She spat.

"Then do something about it bitch." I retorted and she rushed at me.

I growled as she rammed into me and I snarled as her nails raked my arm. My hand clamped on her wrist and I twisted it until she yelped in pain. My other hand balled into a fist and I punched her gut. I snarled as she slapped me and I threw her into the wall. She whimpered and I smirked.

"You forget I was born of Alpha blood. I was made to be an alpha. Never again will mutts like you call me an Omega. You underestimate my power. You underestimate everything. You are nothing to me, but an obstacle in my way. And nothing get's in the way of an alpha, especially not you." I growled in a powerful voice and grabbed her neck and wrenched her up.

I slammed her head against the wall and she fought back, but to no avail. She wouldn't beat me, that was clear.

I grabbed her leg and dragged her through the house before bringing her outside.

I tossed her aside and watched as she shifted into her ugly gray wolf. I shifted as well and my wolf snarled at her smaller one. She gave pitiful growl and I launched myself on her.

My teeth clamped on her right ear and I heard the satisfying tear as I ripped it away. She howled in pain and I slashed my paw across her snout, she toppled to the ground because of the blow and I stood over her.

She whined as my teeth dug into her flank and she yowled in agony.

"Have mercy." She whimpered and I backed up a bit licking the blood from my chops.

"Mercy? Mercy?! Ha, why would I show a thing like you mercy?" I snapped and her eyes shown with dread.

"Why should I?!" I barked and she flinched and squeezed her eyes shut.

I dug my fangs into her scruff and flung her around before digging my claws in her back and slashing into her.

"He's my mate! Mine! Not yours! Never ever touch him again! He's mine!" I snarled and bit into her flank. She let out a bloodcurdling yowl.

"So I'll ask you again: why the hell should I show you mercy?!" I snarled in her face.

"Because it takes a true leader to know when the battle is won." A voice said and I glanced over to see a pure white she-wolf sitting beside a night black wolf. I bowed my head and felt slightly shameful at the fact that Firestorm and Convel, Katlyn and Clayton, had been watching.

I shot Amy, Felen, a look and backed away. The former Luna was right... I'd already won this battle.

Felen stood shakingly to her feet and bowed her head to me.

"I'll leave... I won't come back... thank you for sparing me." She whimpered.

I laid my head on top of hers and growled, "You got lucky. Don't ever come back... If I even think you've contacted my mate again, I'll hunt you down and gut you like the swine you are." I took a step back and held my head high. Her ears laid back in nervous fear.

Be afraid.

"Y-yes Luna Amelia." She said and managed to bow down in submission before turning and hobbling away.

I almost felt bad as I watched her go.

"Nice work Amelia. You'll make a wonderful Luna." Katlyn said and I dipped my head to her.

"Thank you ma'am." I yipped and she nodded.

"If only our asshole son can straighten up." Convel growled. The former Luna nudged him hard and he almost fell over.

"Dammit woman." Clayton barked.

"Hush talking about the boy. He'll get better." Katlyn huffed and the former Alpha stood and shook his pelt.

I tilted my head and asked, "Where is Kaden?"

"In his room sulking like his m--" Convel began but Firestorm barreled him over and soon the two were wrestling about.

"Like his mother!" Convel managed to get out and Firestorm scoffed and leaped on top of him.

"I never sulked!" She growled.

"Lies." The black wolf said and the white wolf snorted.

"If anyone sulked it was you. That's where he gets it from." Firestorm said and I huffed with laughter.

"Me sulk? Preposterous!" Convel howled and the pure white wolf knocked him over and they whirled about.

"Idiot." Firestorm huffed with laughter in her growl. I shook my head as they went back and forth.

I turned and made my way back towards the house and didn't hesitate in shifting in a bathroom and changing.

I was making my way down the hallway when I ran into Nancy. The girl looked up at me with wide eyes.

"Amelia!" She cried and jumped into my arms and I hugged her before putting her down.

"Hey little Princess." I smiled and ruffled her hair. She laughed before her face became serious.

"I have to tell you something." She said and I frowned softly.

"What's wrong?" I asked and she leaned closer...
