Chapter 25
CHAPTER 25: BACK
IVYNA didn’t sleep well last night because of what happened. She helped him to fix himself that is why she slept late and woke up late, too.
Taese woke up like nothing happened last night. He didn’t remember what happen. He’s only wearing his boxer. He removed his clothes because he felt stinky and it smells bad. He went outside and saw Ivyna sleeping peacefully in the couch. She’s hugging herself and her face is covering her face.
‘Did she help me last night?’ He thought.
He shrugs and walked towards the kitchen to make his breakfast. He was frying an egg when Ivyna woke up.
She woke up when he dreamt what happened last night between her and his boss. She was catching her breathe when her gaze averted to where Tease is.
Taese furrowed his brows when Ivyna is looking at him weirdly.
“What?” he asks.
Ivyna immediately stand up. “W-what are you doing?”
“Breakfast.” He then continues what he is doing.
Ivyna didn’t remover her gaze at him.
‘Eh?’ she thought. ‘What happen to him?’
Minutes had passed when Taese finished cooking. He then gets two plates and places it to the table.
Ivyna just watch him.
Taese look at her when she do nothing, she is just looking at him like she is amaze or something.
“What?” he snorted. “Do you want to stare at me the whole day or do you want to eat?”
She startles and moves herself. She walks towards the bathroom and wash herself before sitting in front of him. She can’t stop herself but to wonder what gotten to him and he made breakfast for them?
“Later afternoon, our flight back home.” He says.
“What time?”
“3.”
She nodded.
They are quietly eating. Ivyna couldn’t look at him straight because the pictures of what happened last night is appearing to her mind when she’s looking at him.
Minutes had passed again. They are already finished eating. Ivyna is hesitating if she will wash the dish or not. She wanted to ask him if she can do it now because he looks done eating too. But she can’t ask.
She sighs. “U-uh… are you done?”
Taese look at her then nodded.
Ivyna stand up. “A-ah let me clean your plates.”
He extends his plates.
She was about to walk towards the sink when he suddenly speak up.
“Did something happened last night---“
“NOTHING!” She immediately answers. “I-I mean… nothing. I-I just help you walk to your room. That’s it! Nothing e-else!”
He looks at her like he is scanning her.
Ivyna gulps as he stares at her wearing those eyes like yesterday night.
She turned her back at him. “Gonna wash the plates!” She ran away.
Tease watches her walking away. He then shakes his head and smile a bit as he finds her cute when he noticed that she blush a little.
Ivyna’s heart beats fast as she put down the plates in the sink.
‘Did he remember what happened last night?’
She secretly looks at where he is. He’s now busy on his phone.
She looks to the plates and sigh.
‘I think he didn’t remember anything.’
Time flew past. It’s already two in the afternoon and they are in their way to the airport. They sit next to each other. Ivyna is looking outside so she can avoid his gaze. She can’t handle it. It’s like she’s melting by his stares.
Taese noticed that Ivyna is not comfortable to him but he ignored it.
They reached the airport. Some guards guide them to the plane. Ivyna covered her face when some reporters approach them. They immediately went inside the plan.
Iviza sighs when the door closed.
They seat in front and next to each other.
A girl attendant approaches them and says things to Tease that she ignored because she feels sleepy. She lean herself to the seat and make herself comfortable to the position before she closed her eyes.
Taese saw how Ivyna sleep like she didn’t get enough sleep. He can’t understand what the girl attendant was saying to him because his attention was focus to Ivyna who is now sleeping.
The girl left them then his gaze averted to Ivyna.
‘I think something happened last night that’s why she is sleepy.’ He thought while looking at her.
