CHAPTER 28: Follow
"Sir Taese..." Ivyna utters while looking at him.
Taese didn't say or do anything. He just stares at her. He can't believe that the person kept messing in his mind is standing in front of him.
"She's here!" One of them shouted to others.
The silence between them breaks when the three guys appears behind Ivyna.
Ivyna immediately moves near Taese when one of them is about to grab her. She doesn't want to be with these guys again!
"What's the problem?" Taese asks looking at the three guys.
Taese scans them. They all looks like perverts.
He takes one step forward to stand beside Ivyna.
The three eyed him.
"Who's that?" one of them asks.
"Don't know," the one answers.
"What do you want?" Taese asks again.
The man who looks like the leader of the three points his finger to Ivyna.
"Her," he says. "She's our friend. We will take her home since she's drunk."
Ivyna immediately shakes her head. She then hold to Taese polo.
"I-I don't know them..." She whispers.
Taese heard it. He didn't remove his eyes to the three.
"Who you were with?" he asks to Ivyna.
"J-July, my friend."
He nods and then put his arm around her shoulder. Ivyna is shock to his action.
"I will take her home. She's my employee." He says.
The three looks at each other.
"Damn this man!"
"What we gonna do now?!"
"Let her go. We don't want to be in jail." The leader whispers before surrender. "Okay, you can take her home. Take care of her. We'll go."
The three immediately walks and left them.
Ivyna sighs when they gone to her sight.
Taese remove his arm to her shoulder and face her.
"Who are those?"
She shakes her head. "Don't know. I went to bathroom and when I'm about to go out they pulled me and brought me to the dark corner."
Taese can see how scared she is.
"Where's your friend?"
"She's drunk already. I think she's pass out now." She says. "Thank you for saving me. I will go now. I will look to my frien—"
She was about to walk away when Taese holds his wrist and pull her to face him.
They both feel the tingle sensation when their skin touch.
Ivyna sways his hand away.
"W-Why?"
Taese place his hand to his pocket. He ignore the spakrs.
"I will come with you."
"H-Huh?!" She's shock. "I-I mean... Why? No need. I-I can go alone."
He frowns.
"And what if you meet again those guys? Do you think you can escape them this time?"
Ivyna didn't say anything. He's right. She isn't sure yet if those guys is not waiting for her.
"U-Uh..."
"Don't be hard-headed." He says and starts to walk. "Let's go."
Ivyna can't do anything but to follow him. When they are heading back to where July is, she notice how some people looks at the man in front of her.
Who wouldn't?
They reached their table. And she's right, July already passed out. Ivyna tried to wake her up but she's already asleep.
'What should I do?' She thought.
"What now?" Taese asks. He's sitting to the seat in front of them.
"S-She's drunk and sleep already."
He furrowed.
"So?"
"Uh, can we book a room?"
He stares at her.
"We'll spend our night here." she added.
Taese just stares at her. He couldn't take off his eyes to her face. She's still looking good even she's already mess.
"Uhm..." Ivyna noticed that he's just staring at her.
Taese stands up.
"Wait a minute."
He then walks towards the counter.
"Do you still have a vacant room?" he asks to the man in the counter.
"Just a minute, Sir." The man looks at the room reservation. "Yes, sir, room 50 last room is still vacant."
"I will take it." He then point out where Ivyna is. "And help her to bring her friend to the room."
The man looks at where he pointing out before nodding.
"I will, Sir."
Taese left hem. He walks towards Ivyna.
"They'll bring her to the room." He says. "Let's go."
"H-huh? Where?"
"You will come with me."
"But why...?" she asks confused. "I need to take care July because she's drunk."
"The staff will do that."
He was about to walk but Ivyna speak again.
"Where we going? Can I stay here?"
He face her. "No."
"W-Why?"
"Just fucking follow me!"
Ivyna halt to his reaction.
Taese calm himself.
"I'm sorry. Just... Let's go."
Ivyna didn't know what to do. She's in torn. Should he follow him? Or stay with July. She's going crazy!
'I'm sorry, Juls. I will see you tomorrow.' She thought before walking towards Taese.
They reached the parking lot. Taese go in and Ivyna go in to. They sat next to each other. No one tries to talk.
Taese was driving when he speaks up.
"Are you drunk?"
Ivyna shakes her head.
"N-not really."
Silence.
"We're going to my condo."
"O-Okay..."
