Chapter 27

CHAPTER 27: Met Again

"What brings you here, my friend?" Jeff says and sits down in front of Taese.

"Shut up," he said. "Just bring me drinks."

He laughs. "Someone's seems problematic."

He rolled his eyes.

"Just fucking give me damn drinks!"

Jeff stands up by his shouts.

"Easy, bro!" he laughs again. "Just wait a bit. I'll be right back."

Jeff leave him alone. He went to counter and get him drink. Taese look around.

Why did he went to his friends at the first place? Nothing. He's just got bored.

Jeff came back with two bottle of drinks in his both hands. A smile curve to his lips. Seeing his friend, Taese, from counter while getting the drinks for them, he can tell that something is in his mind.

'I think I knew what it is.' He thought. "Or should I say, I know 'WHO' it is.'

Taese' frown from the look his friend giving him.

'Tsk. I think it's a bad idea coming here.' He thought.

"Here your drink, Buds." He pull towards him the bottle.

Without saying anything, he opens it and drinks little by little.

"So, what's this about?" Jeff asks.

Taese didn't response. He continues drinking.

Jeff shakes his head.

"Is it about 'HER' again?" he asks emphasizing 'her'.

Still, Taese didn't response.. His drinks is almost half already.

Jeff keeps his mouth quiet. He knows he can't get answer to his questions because his friend is too focus in drinking.

Only the loud noises of the people and sounds in the bar can hear between them.

"Tsk." Taese harshly put down the bottle. He already drunk it all. "Give me another."

Jeff calls one of the waiter.

"Yes, sir?"

"Bring another one bottle."

He nods and walks toward the counter.

"Why do I kept thinking her?" He looks down.

Jeff listens to him.

"Why the fuck she always in my mind?! She's just my one-moth secretary but fuck!"

Jeff knew all of it. Taese always text him about her. At first, he thought he's praking him. But it went again and again.

"Why don't you talk to her?"

Taese looks at him.

"Should I?"

He nods. "Of course. Maybe you're just need to talk to her."

He stares at him.

"You don't have her number?"

He shakes his head.

He sighs. "Ask your grandfather. He probably have her number."

The waiter came and put down the bottle. Taese gets it and drink.

"What if she'll assume something else?"

"Assume of what?"

"Like..." Taese utters. "... I like her."

"Do you?"

'Do I?' Taese ask himself.

He doesn't know. He don't know. He can't understand what his feeling.

"No...?" He unsure says.

"You're the only one can answer that, Buds." Jeff says. "Try to think about it. Try to ask yourself about it."

They continues drinking. They some other things that Jeff thought can give his frined peace of mind.

Taese stands up. "Bathroom," he says when Jeff looks at him.

Jeff nods.

"Jezz! Another round! Cheers!"

Ivyna is a bit drunk. While July is already drunk.

"Ivy! Come on! Let's drink one more!"

She puts a drink in Ivyna's glass. Becuase she is drunk already, the drinks pour over and get loaded from the glass.

July laughs.

"I'm sorry!" She said in her drunk voice. "Drink! Drink! Drink!"

Ivyna get the glass ang immediately drink it. July cheer at her crazily.

They drink more and more like there is no tomorrow. They look so happy together. Some guys tried tk join them but they will 'shoo' them because they want to bond together.

"Hi, ladies. Can we join?"

Three guys appeared once again.

Ivyna stare at them. They're look like some addicts because of their looks. Or is she just drunk?

"Nah!!" July waves her hand at them. "We want to enjoy this night together. Shoo! Shoo!"

But the guys didn't listen at them. They're eyes are on Ivyna.

All of them have same motives at her.

"We just gonna sit, you two can drinks like we don't exist."

"Still, no!" July almost shouted. "Go, home! We don't want you here!"

The three seems disappointed while walking away. Some people around them look at them when July shouted so they have no choice but to walk away.

They sit not far from them. They watch Ivyan and talks some dirty talks about her. Until they got the chance when Ivyan go to the bathroom.

"Juls, I will the bathroom, you want to come?" She said while standing up.

"Nah, nah, you can go. Come back quick. Don't bail me!"

"Yes, yes, I'll be right back."

She walks towards the bathroom. That's when the three guys followed her.

She entered the bathroom and released some water into her. She washed her hands and face before going back. Before she could step outside, someone pull her out of the bathroom.

"H-Hey! Who are you?! Let me go!" She tried to get off someone's hand in her hand.

"Shh! Be good girl."

"Who are you?"

They brings here in the dark side of the bar. They corner her.

"Shit! We're really lucky. This one looks like fresh," one giy said while scanning Ivyna's body.

"We really are. Look at those eyes, drunk already, baby girl?"

Before the guy could near his face at her, he block it.

"H-Hey, stop! Who are you?!"

"We're the one who will bring heaven to you." The one said and touch her legs.

The alcohol in her body suddenly gone when she feels his touch. She immediately move her hands ang tried to stop it going up.

"H-Hey! Don't!"

"Shhh! I told you to be a good girl, right? Don't fight back cause we don't want to hurt you, beautiful lady."
