CHAPTER 16: START OF A NEW FRIENDSHIP?
Ooh, ooh, ooh, oooh,
I’m the only one of me eh, baby, that is the fun of me.
Me, eh, eh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh,
You are the only one of you ooh
Baby that’s the fun of yooouuuu
And I promise that nobody’s gonna love you like me eh, eh
I know I tend to make it about me
I know that you never get what you see.
But I will never bore you baabyy
And there is a lot of lame guys out there.
Whoa, who knew that Romeo is actually a swiftie. Raise your hands if you didn’t. okay now I am being extra weird. I wish I could say he sounded like a frog dying or a cow giving Birth, but I can’t because he didn’t. he sounded like Justin Bieber.
I frowned. He has good looks, he is fucking loaded and now he can sing?! Life is not fair at all. Now he was actually singing and having fun. Yay!
All of us were actually enjoying our perfect mistakes, our beautiful ones. I suddenly had a weird thought. If we did this yesterday, and this mess is still here the next day, where did they eat this morning. Damn, I really had to stop with these thoughts.
I won’t be surprised if Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Morgan walks in here and says we are expelled. Nope I won’t. a beautiful and soft voice started singing and we looked up to see Hazel on a table.
When we had that fight out in the rain, you ran after me and called my name.
Aidan looked at her and grinned. He continued for her. Didn’t he say it was his secret shame? What changed?
I never wanna see you walk away. And there is a lot of lame guys out there.
Jeiel and Romeo continued. It was like we were a band and were performing at a concert.
Cos one of these things is not like the others. Living in winter, I’m your summer.
Baby doll, when it comes to a lover. I promise that you will never find another like me eh eh.
Tracy, Sian, Josie, Aidan and Hazel sang the chorus while Jeiel and Ruby danced.
After many more songs, jokes and singing, we managed to clean the whole place and there were smiles on everyone faces. I only watched them. They cheered happily like they have been friends for years. Cleaning the whole cafeteria is not a fun thing, but cleaning it with friends is pretty fast. Too bad, I don’t do friends.
I dropped my brooms, and cleaning equipment back in the original position, so did the rest.
Immediately we left the cafeteria, Tracy’s scowl was back, Sian and the other minion looked like they didn’t want to leave, but they didn’t have a choice but to follow their leader.
I was actually expecting the Greek Gods to leave but they didn’t. I am pretty sure that the twins and Jeiel were as surprised as I was, but they acted unbothered about it.
“I’m hungry.” Josie pouted.
“Me too, I haven’t eaten since this morning and it is already getting late.” Hazel mumbled.
“Maybe if you hadn’t started a food fight, we wouldn’t be in this situation.” I said frowning.
Let’s skip then” Aidan said clapping his hands as if he had discovered the cure to Corona virus.
“I don’t think that is a good idea. Jeiel said shaking her head.
“Are this people actually fucking serious? Is it just me that seems to realize the fact that we are in a boarding school, and we can’t just leave anyhow, although I am a bad girl doesn’t mean I was dumb too.”
Ruby rolled her eyes at what Jeiel said.
“Yeah me too, I agree with Jeiel. I mean it is our senior year so skipping school without permission isn’t going to look too good on our resume”. Dwight added.
My head suddenly snapped to his direction. Forget the crap I was saying earlier, did this dude actually cares about school shit?
As if he could read my mind, he answered my question.
“I don’t really give a damn about school, at all. My dad threatened to freeze my accounts and confiscate my cars if I get a low GPA this year.” He mumbled frowning.
Aww, sorry Dwight. Jeiel sympathized.
“You have been awfully quiet today huh. I thought you will be excited to skip school for the rest of the day.” Aidan whispered.
“And why does it bother you?” I asked rolling my eyes.
“I’m not bothered; it is actually very satisfying to not hear your annoying voice.” He smirked.
“What the actual fuck? The nerve of this guy.
“Why are you even following us?” I asked bluntly as Hazel elbowed me in the ribs.
I turned my head to glare at her to find her already glaring at me. What’s her problem?
Ouch. Dwight said dramatically
“What? It’s a question. You guys are always up to no good so…” I trailed with an eyebrow raised.
“You hurt me Ana, so many girls will be dying for us to just say hi to them, and you are pushing us away.” One other dude said dramatically, I have noticed him before, back at the food fight and cleaning and karaoke but I never really bothered myself.
