Chapter 46
Part 46
Veer's pov..
I walked to Mehta Mansion and checked the time; it was already 12.I'm so late...should I ring the doorbell or not...what if they've already fallen asleep?
"Are you here?" I heard the voice and turned to see Samaira's dad...
"I came here to talk to Samaira," I said, looking at him.
"Come here and sit with me; we need to talk," he said, and I nodded, and we sat on the bench, which was placed on the lawn.
"So do you really think I did something wrong with your family?" He asked calmly, looking at me.
"I don't know your side of the story," I stated.
"Yes, it's true that I left your bua in the pavilion and ran away with Samaira's mom," he said, and I just gaped at his face.
(Bua means a brother's sister or paternal aunt.)
"You did something wrong," he cut me off.
"First, let me finish," I said, taking a deep breath to relax.
"It was your father who assisted me in fleeing," my eyes widened as I listened to him.
"Yes, he knows everything. As you know, we are best friends, and it was he who helped me run away with Urmi because he knew that I don't love your baby," he said.
"Your bua was kinda obsessed with me... she was suffering from some kind of mental illness..." I cut him off.
"Do you want to say that Bua was mad?" I literally shouted, getting up from my seat.
"Don't shout that Samaira is up," he said, glaring at me. I sat down silently.
"Just a minute," he mumbled, taking out his phone from his pocket and dialling a number.
"Hello Madhav.. yeah, Veer is with me.. what he left the house for... just tell him everything and clear his confusion," he explained.Put the phone on speaker.
"Madhav, tell him who helped me run away," he said.
"It was me who helped him. Veer, your bua was severely mentally ill, and she was obsessed with him.Pranit is my best friend, and he loves Urmi very much. At that time, Urmi was pregnant with Pranit's child, and that child was Samaira, so I helped them," Dad said over the phone, and I was too shocked to react.
"If Pranit married your ba at that time, your Samaira is an illegitimate child," father explained.
"But dad, you could've stopped Bua from committing suicide," I said.
"It happened so fast that we didn't have time to react," dad explained.
"What about the bankruptcy thing then?" I asked them.
"It's true that Pranit got the project because at the last moment, my own pa stole my data and gave it to my rival company, which was Vikram Rajput's dad... your daadi and mom think that Pranit caused all the problems, but naah he also worked hard for that project, so I was happy he got it because he was deserving," dad explained.
"OK, Madhav, I'll call you later; bye, good night," he said as he hung up the phone and looked at me.
"So do you really think I did bad with your family and your dad?" he asked, his disappointment clear and visible in his eyes as he didn't expect this from me. He always treated me as his own son.
"Dad, I am so sorry, I was just confused," I said, looking down.
He patted my back and asked, "So you left everything for Samaira?" I nodded, looking at him.
"Veer, you know that Na Samaira suffered so much in your house, and she was born with all the luxuries, and now you don't have anything to give her, and I don't want her to suffer," he stated clearly.
"I have nothing to give her...my heart has been with her for a long time, but I will earn for her very soon," I stated confidently.
How much you will earn working in the companies in the future"20,000 or 30000 or a little more, but you know right, she spent lakhs in her normal shopping only," he stated flatly, and he is not wrong.
I just looked down and couldn't think of anything to say.
"Veer, listen, I don't have any problem with you, nor am I trying to defame you; it's just that I care about my daughter, and that's why I am saying all this," he said softly, and I nodded, looking at him. He is the father of Samaira; he must be worried about her.
"I have an offer for you," I said, my eyes wide with a puzzled look on my face.
"Rishabh is in charge of Mehta Industries' London branch... you can handle the Mehta group of hotels in Mumbai here if you want," I said, smiling.I know he is doing all this for Samaira.
"Dad, thank you, but I don't need it. I want to do something on my own," I said with a smile, holding his hand.
"What about Samaira then?" "I don't want her to struggle because of you," he said like a protective dad.
"I don't want her to struggle either; I want to give her all the happiness and everything she deserves with my own will," I said, and he sighed audibly.
"She is staying here, and you will also stay here with her and find a decent job as soon as possible," he said as he stood up.
I also got up from my seat and stated, "I am not staying here."
He looked at me a bit angrily and said, "Then where will you go at this time? Come on Veer, stop being a filmy hero!" I chuckled.
"Dad, do you trust me?" I asked him.
"I trust you, but this situation is really messed up as far as I know, because your mom and dadi will definitely do something," he expressed concern.
"I'll manage, and I am not staying here; it's final," I said, and he looked at me angrily then smiled. "I just want to meet Samaira once," he said.
"She is very angry at you, Veer, so thoda bachke rehna usse," dad said, laughing, and I made a crying face.
(Stay alert from here.)
We went inside the mansion and got rewarded by a vase that was thrown in my direction. It actually fell a few inches away from my feet and broke into pieces.
"Princess" dad gasped while I was too shocked to react.
"How dare you enter my mansion, you fucking asshole!" she yelled, her eyes and nose red from crying. It hurt my heart to think that she cried for me.
"Baby, listen to..." she cut me off.
"Don't just don't baby me," she yelled angrily, hurling another flower vase at me.
I thanked God for not injuring me, warna Samaira ko baadme problem hoti kyu ki main defected hojata.
(Because Samaira might face problems later as I would become deflected.)
"Samaira, calm down," Sasumom said, holding her shoulder.
"No, mom, not today," she replied, looking at me.
"What you think of me is that I am some kind of cheap girl, huh." "I went to meet Vivian just for you, and what your family did, they fucked me out," she shouted in tears. "She is hurt, very hurt."
"Well, it's ok. I didn't hurt that much when they threw me out, but when you left me there to deal alone with all the humiliation, it hurts. It fucking hurts. "I just wanted you beside me that time, but what you did, you just ran away from the situation," she shouted, angrily wiping her tears.
"Samaira, listen, yaar." I tried to walk towards her, but she stopped me by showing my palm.
"Just stop right there, Veer Singhania," she said, glaring at me with her teary eyes.
"I am no longer Veer Singhania," my heart screamed as I stood there sticking my lips together.
"Princess, at least let him speak," her dad said to her softly.
"No, no, why will I, huh?" "He behaved like a jerk today. He left me there alone that time. I just want him beside me," she said in her crying voice.
"So, why are you here?""If you think that my dad is a murderer and destroyer of your family, then why are you here?" she shouted, and I looked down.
"You just love to hurt her! Wow, Veer, wow!" my brain slapped me.
"You hurt me so much today, Veer. I don't want to see your face, nor do I want to talk to you now. Just get out of my mansion," she said, pointing towards the gate.
"Princess, you aren't letting anyone speak," Dad said, but she showed her palm.
"I don't want to talk and I don't want to listen. Any excuses, dad? Now just tell him to leave," she said to her dad.
I didn't say anything and went out of the mansion. Dad tried to stop me, but I assured him that I'd manage.

"Samaira, stop crying, please." Pranit said that while it's been two hours since Veer left and Samaira is still crying,
"Did you tell him to leave?"And now he's gone, why are you crying?"Urmi asked, sitting beside her.
"I wanted him to be with me that time, but he left me alone. Why did he do this to me?" she cried harder.
"It's 2.30am, doll, please stop crying and have something; you didn't even have your dinner," Urmi said, wiping her tears.
"I don't want to have anything; I am fine," she mumbled and ran upstairs to her room.

Next morning..
"Have something, Veer Baba, it's morning," Samir Veer's friend said to him while he was busy writing something in the note book.
"I am not hungry, Samir," he said, shaking his head.
"Majnu wale harkatein naa kar... kuch nahi khane se Samaira nahi mil jaayegi tujhe," Samir said, and Veer smacked him across the back.
(Don't behave like a roadside Romeo; it's not like you will get Samaira if you stop eating.)
"Veer, did you see the news?" Samir asked, and Veer made a face.
"News is a pain in my head, dude," he replied, closing the note book.
"Veer Singhania resigned as CEO of Singhania's Heights, his father's company, and disabled all of his social media accounts; why did he make such a sudden decision?"We tried to contact his parents and manager, but no one is answering our questions," Cabi said, copying the reporter, while Veer made a face and threw a cushion on his face.
"Jokes aside, bro, tu karega kya ab yeh bol?" Samir inquired solemnly.
(Now tell me what you intend to do.)
"Tu yahan kyu laya, huh?""Why you take me here?" Veer asked.
"So, what do you think? Main tujhe raaste me chor deta comeon, Veer, stop acting like a majnu," Samir said, shaking his head.
(So what, huh? Did you expect me to leave you there on the road all alone?)

Samaira awoke with swollen red eyes and dried tears in her eyes. Sighing, she got out of bed and went to the restroom, where she looked in the mirror and saw herself as a zombie. Her face was red, her eyes were swollen, and her hair was messed up.
She brushed her teeth and entered the shower cabinet, recalling the previous morning when they were happy...and now everything is messed up.

"Good morning, doll/princess," Urmi and Pranit wished her as she descended the stairs.
"Good morning," she murmured softly as she sat on the couch.
"Your favourite filtered coffee," Arti said cheerfully, forwarding the cup.
She took it, murmuring, "Thank you."
Just then, a news item caught her eye: Pranit was watching TV.
He quickly changed the channel as he didn't want Samaira to cry or become tensed once again.
"What was that, dad?" Samaira asked..
"What what?" Pranit fumbled..
"Give me the remote," she said sternly.
"Why am I watching this, doll?" he asked.
"I said give me the remote," she shouted, snatching the remote from his hand. She switched the news channel.
Samaira's pov..
"As we know, Veer Singhania is one of the youngest CEOs in India. He achieved so many things at the age of 25, but he resigned from the post and disabled all his social media accounts. What is the reason behind this?"
To say I was surprised is an understatement. It was like someone snatched the ground underneath me. Why did he do this?
"What is this, dad?" I asked, turning towards Dad.
"He is no longer Veer Singhania; he left everything," dad said as I stared at him in disbelief.
"What are you saying?" I asked him, being confused.
"He left Singhania Mansion yesterday; he left everything just because of you," dad said.
"What the hell, dad?" And you're telling me this right now?I shouted angrily as I got up from the couch.
"You didn't let us speak at night. We were trying to talk to you, but you were so angry," dad said, and I just stomped my feet shittt.
"You should've stopped him," I said, palming my face.
"I tried, but he said he'd make it...he just wanted to meet you once, but you shouted on him, poor boy," dad said sadly, as tears welled up in my eyes.
"Woh kahan gaya hoga," I thought and cried.
What happened to him?
I took my phone and dialled a number. "Yeah, Samir."
"Don't lie, I know he is there," I said angrily over the phone call.
"Don't tell him anything; I am coming in thirty minutes," I said and hung up the phone. I grabbed my car keys and phone.
"Would you mind explaining where you're going?" dad inquired.
"I'm going to punch my impulsive husband," I said, running out of the mansion.
Pov end..
"These two will make us mad someday," Urmi said, and Pranit chuckled.
