Chapter 67

I leaned on the edge of the table and crossed my arms. "Where's the pictures you're talking about?"

He was standing right in front of me now with an envelope in his hand. "I don't know boss..." This answer made me frown.

I closed my eyes tightly before staring into his eyes. "What do you mean you don't know?!"

"I don't know where you put it boss." He answered with a bow.

I held my head. "What? You gave it to me? Why didn't I know that? What was I doing at that time?!"

"Um, you're busy boss."

"Busy in what!" My head is getting really hot. I don't know why I'm angry, because I found out that Mike is the Mike I know?! or am I angry because I haven't even received any updates from Jeff here?!

"Busy drawing and smiling while staring at the paper." A few seconds later we both stared at each other.

I tasted it and slowly turned away from it. I sat in my chair and opened the laptop.

I turned my eyes to the laptop that was timing out because I entered the wrong password. I sighed and stared at my drawer that was slightly open. I opened it and saw a white envelope.

"Pictures?" I raised my eyebrows.

I opened it and spread the photos on my table.

"What the f**k is this!" My blood boiled when I saw the photos. Here is the face of Elyse, Elizabeth and Mike together. there is another picture of them eating together, there is a pic of them in the park together and happy.

Why the hell is she smiling like that in front of him?! This is annoying! She's smiling like a stupid and it's making me mad!!

"Boss, you look like a familiar woman, she looks like the woman you drew--" I didn't even let him finish speaking because I immediately spoke.

"From Mr. Del Rosario." he answered before going out.

I seriously looked at the envelope, after a few seconds I slowly opened it. I found a small paper inside and two photographs.

I stared at two photos. Where Elyse and I were in the car together. I clenched my fist and rolled the small paper.

"F**king bastard!! I'll kill you with my bare hands if I see your damn face again!!!"

Elyse Marie Arcevedo's Pov.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!" I screamed and was thrown back. I catch my breath while holding my neck.

That's just a dream! Someone is strangling me, but I don't know who. I can't see his face because it's dark, but I'm sure of only one thing, it's a man. I held his hand and I know that the hands of women and men are different.

I just shook my head to get that dream out of my mind.

I looked next to me. Good thing Elizabeth didn't wake up when I screamed. I fixed his frown, he was really tossing and turning to sleep, his blanket was already at his feet. I laughed softly and kissed him on the forehead.

I looked at the time and it was almost 2 am. This is the time you really choked me, really! I got up and stood up, I was about to leave the room but I saw Mike at the door he had just entered.

I rubbed my eyes to look at his left hand, as if there was blood on his hand and in one of his hands he was holding a...b-gun? wait, what?? I guess I missed it!

I think I suddenly got nervous.

I shook my head and grabbed my head because I suddenly felt dizzy. I just went back to the bed and took my cell phone.

I raised my eyebrows when I saw that there were many missed calls from Xander. I was about to smile but I remembered that I was really angry with him.

He was so busy yesterday! He's annoying my god! I get a headache from him, then I don't know why I feel like I'm shivering from him, the way he pinches my cheek so deliciously.

It's true what I told him yesterday, Mike is kind. even though I have never seen him get angry, if Mike wasn't a bad person, he wouldn't have hit me and my son then.

"Do you want round 2?" It's a question that wakes me up.

"Tsk, I don't want to!" I gave him a hard time but I felt one of his hands crawling on my thigh and I flicked it

"You're fat! You're a bastard!!"
