"Mom. She's fine. She's right next to me. She said that she couldn't do it. She wasn't ready to- yes I know she said yes but she said tha- Mom. She said she wasn't ready. Tell dad that too- you want to talk to her?" I looked around the apartment and started to bit my lip.
"Look, I'll call you back. I need to go. Mom, she doesn't want to talk to no one right now. Not even me. I have to go. Bye love you." I sighed while I looked around the living room and fell backwards onto the couch. I closed my eyes while I pinched the bridge of my nose.
I placed my phone on the side of me while my legs laid limp on the coffee table. "Where are you Jordan."
Days I've spent calling her freakin phone but I would always forget that she left it here. I spent hours and hours driving around looking for her. I'm tempted to print a picture of her and place it around everywhere.
I even cried.
Wow.
Never thought I cry about my main bîtch.
I sighed again while I got up and walked towards the kitchen. My parents left the next day saying they had a business trip to get back for. I shook them off and told them Jordan came back the next day, they've been call since then.
Two god damn weeks since she never came back. I tried calling Hector, seeing if he ever knew where she might of went to, but he would never answer me. We're on summer break for college and I thanked god for that because if we weren't then Jordan might as well find a local job. I got letters saying I passed mine, and I just need one more year for my bachelor, but Jordan's came in too, and I want to open it but I want to see her expression.
I started to brew some coffee and go to the table where I hand my lap top. I started to look through the news, looking through the shocking ones. Hoping that her name would pop up.
"Where are you B." I murmured. I walked back and poured some coffee and tried to drink it black but I ended up spitting it out and adding creamer and sugar.
"I don't know how people do that shît." I walked back and scrolled down but nothing really stood out for me to look deeper in.
There was one about a shooting in a gas station, but who fûckin shoots at a gas stations?
"Come on Jordan. Help me out here." I scrolled for hours. I felt my eyes starting to sag. I would blink very slow and I would yawn all the time.
I shut down the lap top and stared out the window. The lights from the city were lighting up the streets and the buildings would shin with each light hitting it. I sighed while I rested my forehead on top of the table and closed my eyes.
"Don't leave now Jordan. Not with out me at least."
*****
I had the TV on and had it on one channel, the freakin news. I groaned when they were showing the weather again. I looked over to the oven and saw it was 4:26 am. I sighed while I rubbed my eyes.
"Get a grip Greyson. Find your best friend."
*****
I jumped when my phone ringed. I jumped so hard that I fell off the couch. I groaned while I coughed at the same time because I choked on my saliva. I rolled on my side and pushed my self up while I searched for my phone. When I felt it I quickly snatched it back and answered it without looking at the caller ID.
"Hello?!" I coughed again and cleared my throat. "Jordan?!"
The other line was silent but then they spoke. "So, I'm assuming she's not there." I groaned while I fell backwards on the carpet.
"What do you want mom?!"
"I was calling for Jordan."
"Mom. She's went to work. She said if she calls that's its important so that's why I went crazy." I clicked it on speaker and closed my eyes while my phone rested on my chest.
"Well I'm sorry Greyson. I'm looking out for my baby girl."
"Mom. Don't say that. That's- that's just- no."
"What?! She loves it when I call her that."
"No she doesn't. A coworker calls her that. Anyway, I'll call you back. Someone's calling me."
"Ugh fine. Love you."
"Love you too. Bye." When I heard the line go dead I yelled out.
"WHERE THE FÛCK ARE YOU JORDAN!?!?"
*****
I took another nap but woke up at noon. I took a shower and got dressed. I'm going to stop by the police station and place a missing report.
I was putting on my shoes when I saw her phone on the counter. I tried to turn it on but it was dead. I groaned again and rubbed my eyes. I threw my shoe in frustration and it slammed against the front door. I had my eyes closed but then they snapped open when my shoes landed on something. It made a crumple noise and I walked slowly over there.
My converse was laying on papers. I felt my eyebrows furrow, slowly I bent down and picked up the paper. I started to read what it said and I felt my lips curl up into a smile.
"I fûckin knew it. I FÛCKIN KNEW IT JAXON!!" I laughed and quickly got my shoe and place it on, rushing out of the door, towards my car.
*****
I pulled up on the drive way and I left my car running while I quickly got out and was smiling the whole way up the drive way. I knocked three times then busted through the doors.
"You lying mother fûck-" I stopped when I saw no one. I groaned again while I kept walking in. I bit my lip while I saw the wall. You kinda saw what it meant, but the rose pedals dried up and some fell out of place. But I knew what it said and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Didn't know you were so romantic Jaxon." I took a look around but sighed while I went back out side to my car. I sat back in while the ac was blowing directly to my face.
I pulled out my phone and scrolled all the way down to 'Js'.
I clicked his name while it rang.
"Hello?"
"Jaxon? Do you have Jordan?" I started to bite my nails but I mentally slapped my hand down.
"I don't know."
"Jaxon I'm serious- wait."
"Oh sorry, I didn't pick up the phone. You were talking to yourself dumbass. You know what to do when the beep sets off."
I groaned loud while I quickly clicked on him. My head landed on the steering wheel.
Well fûckin great.
