Episode 13

Jane went to her room and closed the door firecely, she went to her bed and picked up her phone,she saw a missed call and some texts,she opened her phone and saw it was Natasha.

she checked the text and it was Natasha saying she went to John's place to have some fun,Jane understood her and dropped the phone,she thought of what happened between her and Ace again.

“that was some deep shit!” she said to herself,she suddenly heard a knock on the door,she didn't say anything, “Hey Jane it's me,I came to apologize for yelling at you,you know I'll only do what's best for you” Her dad said.

Jane instantly covered her ears with a pillow, she didn't want to hear him say anything else about it.she stood up few moments later and couldn't hear him anymore, she went to her door and opened it slightly, she peeped out and couldn't see anyone there,she closed the door and went back in.

she laid on her bed and slept for about 2 hours,she later woke up feeling hungry.she went to her bathroom and showered, she wore something and went downstairs, she went to the dinning room and met her step mother and Linda eating,“Dad has gone somewhere he said he'll be back” Linda said.

Jane looked at her but didn't say a word, she took her own share of the food and went upstairs,she entered her room and ate.“i can't believe dad's treating me this way,I am twenty and can choose for my self,I don't needs anyone's help” she said to her self.

“i think am gonna look for a way to leave this house and never return soon” she thought and laid on her bed to sleep.

.......back at Ace's place...

“so you work for her dad” Ace asked Shaw,“yes” Shaw replied, “So how did you loose your job” Ace asked.

“thr only duty assigned to me is to to follow her everywhere she goes but I failed to do so which made her Dad fire me” Shaw said.

“yeah she was ..” Ace was about to say when he quickly stoped himself from saying it.“what were you about to say, was she here the whole time ” Shaw asked.

“No of course not” Ace said laughing awkwardly. “ok” Shaw replied. ”so what do you plan on doing” are you just gonna stay here for ever” Ace asked.

“No,I plan on returning home as soon as she returns ” Shaw said,“And you, why do you stay here all alone” he asked.

“it's a long story ” Ace said,“Then make it short” Shaw said.“No am not sure you'll be able to handle my story, it ain't for kids” Ace said,“Try me,and by the way am twenty One,am not a kid” Shaw insisted.

“ok,I had a wife and son here,used to work a man named Greg, I don't know if you've heard of him,to cut the story short,he killed my wife and son” Ace said and his mood changed.

“I just returned from exile and am planning on getting my revenge, but I don't really know where to start from, I need all the help I can get" Ace said.

“Am so sorry ” Shaw said,Ace nodded.“you know what, I might change plans and stay to help you with some things before going back ,that's only if you agree to that..” Shaw said.

“sure I could use all the help I can get” Ace said. “good” Shaw said and smiled. “Have you used a gun before” Ace asked,“of course ” Shaw replied.

“good follow me” Ace said and stood up,Shaw followed him and they both went to the underground,they got to the room where the weapons were and Ace switched on the light, Shaw gasped when he saw the weapons.

“How did you get so many weapons” Shaw asked him,“They are not mine, they belong to man named phil” Ace said,“oh, Phil I know him” Shaw said.

“really Ace asked,Shaw nodded,“ok lets wait till it gets late we'll go over to my former house and check somethings out” Ace said.

They left the underground and went back to the main room,“oh I should call Jane first and tell her about what I plan on doing ” Shaw said,“ok go ahead” Ace said.

Shaw took his phone and dialled her number,She picked it,“Hey miss Jane how did it go with your dad” Shaw asked her.

“Bad, really bad,he said he wouldn't let me go out anymore without two bodyguards! ” Jane said,“Oh sorry about that, I just called to let you know I'll be staying with Ace till he finish what he came here to do” Shaw said.

“oh he told you already ” Jane asked. “Yes” Shaw answered, “ok,bye then I'll let you know when I find a way to get out” Jane said and droped the call.

“ok so,We just have to wait till its dark till we go to your house” Shaw said after dropping his phone.

“Yep,wake me up at 7pm” Ace said as he adjusted to sleep on the couch,“ok” Shaw said and went outside.

Shaw looked around and strolled for some while,he soon got tired and went back in,he met Ace sleeping already, he sat and rested his back on the couch,he slept off too.

Shaw woke up hours later,he checked the time and it was already half past 7 pm. He quickly got up and woke Ace.

“Hey, it's already half past seven” he said as he patted Ace continuously, Ace opened his eyes and And stood up. “ughh,let's go” Ace said and went out,Shaw followed him.

They got in the truck and drove to Ace's house,They got there and found out its being locked with padlocks and chains.

“This is surely Greg's doing" Ace said,he looked around for a stone to hit the lock,“Hey..you can't let them know someone was here” Shaw said and stoped him from hitting the lock.

“you're right ” Ace said as he droped the stone,“What are gonna do?” Shaw asked him. “Emm..I think we'll need to go over to my friend, Andrew,Maybe he can help us get the key” Ace said.

They went back to the truck and drove to Andrew's house,They got there and Ace went to his door step and knocked,leaving Shaw in the car. The door opened.

“Ace?,What are you doing here” Andrew asked looking surprised,“I have come back to get Greg” Ace said,“Come in” Andrew said.

Ace went in and sat in his Andrew's luxurious chair,“Do you want me to get you something? ” Andrew asked,“No thanks ” Ace said.

“Am sorry for what happened to your wife and son ” Andrew said, “thanks” Ace said.“so why are you here” Andrew asked. “i need you to help me get the keys to my apartment, I need to get some important stuffs in there ” Ace said.

“just that,consider it done ” Andrew said,“call my number tomorrow noon to come get it” he added.“Thanks” Ace said,Andrew handed him a piece of paper with a telephone number written on it,Ace took it and went out,he got in his truck and drove off.

“where did he get the truck and how did he come back so easily” Andrew thought as he peeked through is window and saw Ace drive off.

“hmmm,I think I know what to do in this scenario ” Andrew said to himself. Ace drove for some minutes and soon reached a Eatery, “go in there and go get us something to eat” He said to Shaw,Shaw went in and came out with some foods.

They drove home and ate,“You can sleep here,I'll go sleep in the room” Ace said to Shaw after they finished eating,“ok” Shaw replied and laid on the couch.

Ace left him there and went to the bedroom to sleep.
