Episode 14

It was a beautiful morning. “Wake up you lazy bone” Ace said and spanked Shaw who was lying in the floor. “you slept on the couch and woke up on the floor isn't that fantastic ” Ace said and laughed.

Shaw smiled awkwardly, “morning” He said to Ace who was sitting in the other couch.“What are we gonna do today?” he asked Ace “we have a lot to do, first you are going to buy me a hoodie and a small hand towel with the rest of the money. the we'll go on a hunting spree!” Ace said.

“Hunting what” Shaw asked baffled at Ace's statement. “Just go get me the stuffs and come back quickly ” Ace said disdainfully.

He gave Shaw some money and handed him the car keys,Shaw took them and went outside, he got in the truck and drove off.

Ace stood up and went into the secret underground to get some hunting guns,he cleaned them and droped them near his bed and slept off.

Shaw soon returned and met him sleeping, he woke him and handed him the hoodie.“ok let's go hunting!!” Ace yelled. He gave Shaw a gun and they both went out of the house.

They headed for the woods. After walking for a long time, Shaw was getting weary. “Am getting tired,shouldn't we go back” Shaw said scornfully.

“do you wanna eat today or starve yourself to death! ” Ace said to him, Shaw didn't complain any more,they kept on walking for some while until Ace suddenly stoped him.

“Did you hear that” Ace asked, “I didn't hear anything, if you heard something, trust me it was my stomach ” Shaw said. “take cover fool,something is coming” Ace said to him.

They quickly hid behind a bush, An antelope soon showed up. “oh..oh,I see it” Shaw wisphered, “shhh” Ace wisphered back.

Ace cocked his gun and aimed at the antelope who hadn't notice anything, “Are you sure this is legal” Shaw interrupted him.

“one more word from you And I'll blow your head off” Ace said to him as quite as he could. Shaw backed down,Ace aimed and fired at the antelope.

The sound echoed trough the trees,causing many birds to flee. “yeah baby” Shaw jumped up and approached the dying antelope, Ace and him picked it up and carried it all the way back home.

They got home and prepared a fire which they used to roast it,they finished eating to their satisfaction and still had some left overs.

they went back in to rest, “Hey give me your phone, I need to remind Andrew about the keys” Ace said to Shaw.

Shaw handed him his phone,Ace took out the paper Andrew have him and dialed the number written on it,“Hey this is Ace,Am i speaking to Andrew” he asked.

“Oh Ace, I have been expecting your call,I have the key already you can come get it now,ok?” Andrew said.

“ok,thanks I'll stop by to get it” Ace said And droped the call, “He has it already, how did he get it so quickly” Ace asked no one particularly.

He checked the time and saw it was only Eleven AM, he was confused but glad anyways, “suit up dude we are gonna go get my key ” Ace said to Shaw.

Ace wore the hoodie and used the small towel to cover up half of his face,they went out and got in the car,They drove to Phil's place.

They reached there and this time,Ace parked a little closer to Andrew's place. Ace went alone to Andrew's door step.He knocked and opened the door, Andrew was watching TV.

“welcome boy, here's your key” Andrew said and threw the key at him, “If I may ask how did you get it so easily? ” Ace said.

“Had to lie to boss that I want to check some things out in the house” Andrew said,“you should return the keys as soon as you are done,so I would return it before he suspect anything” he added.

“ok I will return it when am done ” Ace said and left.He walked back to his car and drove to the house,he got there and he and Shaw went to the iron gate which was locked with several locks.

He opened them and went to the door step,he opened the final door and went in,His heart sank as he saw everywhere looking very rough, he went in and walked around.

He picked up his wife's photo and his pistol which he used to hide under his bed and went out back, he locked the doors and went back to the truck.

“something is suspicious about Andrew,he couldn't have gotten the keys so easily, I think he's up to something ” Ace said.“Maybe you shouldn't return the key to him yet and wait for his reaction ” Shaw said.

“yeah sure that was what I was thinking too” Ace said. They drove away from the scene and went back home.They got home and went in,Shaw received a call from Jane,“Ace,she says she wanna talk to you ” Shaw said and handed the phone to Ace.

Ace took it,“What do you want?” he said,“Hi,I am tired of staying with my Dad, am old enough to live my life the way I want it but he doesn't wanna agree on that” Jane said.

“so..?” Ace asked, “i want to come stay with you for a while till I get an apartment far from here” Jane said,“you want to come and stay with me, after all you've..” Ace paused and looked at Shaw who was staring at him.

“you wanna come stay with me with all these am going through ” Ace said,“Any thing wrong with that?” Jane asked, “no but how do you plan on living your house without been spotted?” Ace asked.

“Am not gonna sneak out,you are gonna come pick me” Jane said, “Excuse me come pick you up! Are crazy,stupid, or both! ” Ace yelled.

“No please listen, you are gonna come pretending to be my boyfriend, am gonna tell him we are going on a date,and then we'll drive away ” Jane.

“Why the fuck are you talking like a kid,how is all these possible” Ace asked.“Please you gotta help me..oh someone's coming,I'll call you later” Jane said and droped the call.

“Such a stupid girl, how does she expect me to risk my plan just to get her out of her dad's place ” Ace said and returned the phone to Shaw.

“what does she want” Shaw asked,“she wants me to pick her up from her dad's house, she said I should pretend we are going on a date! ,isn't that stupid” Ace said.

“That's damn stupid ” Shaw said.“fuck,this girl is a big distraction,how am I supposed to focus on my plan when she keeps on pestering me,first she..” Ace paused when he remembered he was about to let the cat out of the bag.

“Why do you keep on pausing whenever you are about to say she did something, what did she do,you can tell me,Am good at keeping secrets ” Shaw said.

“it's nothing dude,she's just a big distraction” Ace said and stood up to leave the room.“but you could just ignore her and focus entirely on your problem,or you have..”,Shaw stopped and looked at his face.

“Have what” Ace asked him, “Never mind” Shaw said and went outside. “is he crazy,was he gonna say have feelings. do this people think am here to play around when I have important things to do” Ace thought to himself.

“I better prove them wrong and stay focused ” He said and went to the bedroom.it was already 4pm in the evening, Shaw went to wake Ace up,“Wake up lets eat up the rest of the meat before it gets rotten ” Shaw said to him.

They both went to the main room and sat,They shared the rest of the meat into two parts and began eating it, “so do you plan on helping Jane out or not” Shaw asked.

“I'll do it, but first I have to confirm if Andrew is on my side or not” Ace said. “good,let's do it” Shaw said.
