Episode 76

They all went to there rooms to take a nap. Simone and Ace had to share a room cause there were only three in the house.

Ace laid on the bed lost in thought. “Hey, did you apologize to Annie for not showing up when she needed you most?" Simone asked. “She told you what happened?" Ace asked. “Yeah, she did" Simone replied.

“Am sorry for putting you through these..." Ace said. “It's okay. I think you should go apologize to Annie, not me" Simone replied. “You're right. I'll go talk to her now" Ace said and stood up. He walked out of the room.

Annie was about dozing off when she heard a knock on the door. She was so pissed. Annie reluctantly stood up and walked to the door. She could sense already that it Was Ace.

“Who's there?" She asked as she reached the door. “Hey Annie, can I talk to you for a second? " Ace asked from outside. “Dang it! " Annie mumbled. “Pardon?" Ace asked. “nothing.." Annie replied.

She opened the door and urged him in. Ace walked in slowly and Took his seat. “You have five minutes, go!" Annie said and giggled. “Am so sorry for not showing up After Shaw's death.." Ace said. “It's not a big deal!" Annie said.

“No!, it's a big deal. A very big one! " Ace opposed. “I should have been there with you. I was just so preoccupied with things. First, Linda was kidnapped." Ace said. “Oh my God, is she okay?" Annie asked.

“She's fine!" Ace replied. “Okay" Annie said. “I know that's not a genuine excuse but I tried to. The choices were come over to you or choose to save my family. I would have showed up if I had the chance" Ace said.

“I know, Shaw was your friend. You wouldn't do such to his family. Right?" Annie asked. “Of course!. And I'm gonna make sure I get Josh's head. Not just because he has my family, but also for what he did to my friends. I'll make him pay!" Ace said angrily.

“Promise me you'll kill while he still stands!" Annie said. “I'd kill no matter what it takes!" Ace replied. “Do this for us and I'll forgive you completely! " Annie said. “Trust me Ann, I'll finish him!" Ace said. “Alright, goodnight! " Annie said.

“Goodnight.. " Ace said and stood up. He then left the room and went back to take a nap. Annie heaved a sigh of relief and shut her door. She went to her bed and laid down. She laid in her back staring at the ceiling. She suddenly smiled broadly. Finally she was gonna get her revenge!..

Everyone woke up the second day and As usual, Ate and prepared for he day. Ace wanted to go get his phone back at his house first. If there was a way of communicating with Josh. It was gonna be through his phone only.

“We'll head over to my friend's place. Stick around at the casino, Simone would come for you! " Annie said. “Okay. See you guys later!" Ace said. “Yeah, bye.." Annie said.

They watched as Ace walked away and soon waved down a taxi. The taxi zoomed off and soon disappeared off sight.

Ace quickly told the driver to stop when they reached his place. He paid and got off. Ace walked to his house and met the police already sealed the door and placed lines forbidding civilians from trespassing.

He kicked the door open and walked in. Ace went straight to his room and searched for his phone. He found the phone and saw some texts with few photos attached. Of course, they were from Josh.

Ace quickly dialed his line. He waited impatiently as the call was connecting. “Hey, where the hell are my family!? " Ace asked angrily. “Chill pal, they are right here with me!" Josh replied. “Let's make a deal pal?, you are gonna pay a ransom of 10million dollars in exchange for them. Okay?" Josh asked. “fuck you!. Let them go now, you have the chance to walk away!" Simone waited for Ace outside the casino. Ace was taking much time than they expected..

A taxi suddenly glided and parked. Simone brightened up when he saw Ace alight from the vehicle. He walked to him. “What took you so long!?" Simone asked.

“ sorry, it was the traffic.." Ace replied. “Alright, let's go in!" Simone said. “Wait, thought he lives somewhere around the casino or something!" Ace said. “She owns the casino! " Simone replied. “She?" Ace asked.

“What?, A lady can't own a casino!?" Simone asked. “Dude, I never said that!" Ace said. “let's go in. They are waiting for you " Simone said. Ace followed him and they both went into the casino.

They walked through the crowds and went to a door. Simone knocked on the door and it opened almost immediately. “Come on in!" Annie said to them.

Ace and Simone walked in slowly. “Hey Maria, meet my friend Ace.." Annie said to the Lady. “Holy shit!" Maria suddenly flared up. She grabbed her gun and aimed at Ace.

The news showed Ace was a wanted police officer who Is causing havoc in the city due to some mental illness and was also considered to be a dangerous man!.

“This isn't true. The man set him up!" Annie said. “And I'm supposed to believe that!? " Maria asked. Ace suddenly dipped his hands in his pocket. “Do not fucking try anything stupid!" Maria yelled.
