Cuss words
Chapter 41
Mikhail sighed.
Knowing how Ashley talked, their breakfast was not going to turn out well.
Mason laughed again when she said a word he couldn't even process.
He watched her pick a wine and immediately grab her hand and collected the glass.
"What the fuck are you doing. Let me go! I wanna drink!" She pouted and he scoffed.
"Let it go, babe, you can't even drink." He glared but she was still stubborn.
"Okay then, if I don't drink. Then you're not supposed to drink as well." She said, and he scoffed.
"Are you crazy Ashley?"
"I guess you're the crazy one here." She retorted and Mason burst into laughter again.
"I think she's not crazy at all, just look at her." He mumbled and Ashley nodded.
"You're so damn right that I feel like kissing you. Come here!" Ashley mumbled, trying to get up but was pinned back to the chair by Mikhail.
He wasn't going to take that shit from here today.
She had messed up his night last time but this was morning? How cool that she get drunk so fast?
How many damn bottles has she taken?
"Let me go kiss him, Mikhail, trust me, babe..it won't take long. Just a peck on his lips!" She tried fighting but he didn't let her.
"Wait." She half yelled, turning to Mikhail that had a frown on his face.
He would deal with her later.
"If I don't give him that kiss, how about I give you the kiss." She shrugged and he hissed.
"Who would want to kiss a girl with a mouth full of wine? Not me!"
She frowned and rested her back.
"I didn't even take much, why I'm I like this?"
"Stop drinking that Sandra. You'll get drunk and you'll spill mistakes you don't wanna spill." Ashley said again, shaking her head as Sandra was about to sip from her glass.
"I don't get drunk quickly like you Ashley and besides what secret or mistake that I wouldn't want to spill?" Sandra huffed.
"Seriously? What about the one where your new Boss is so hot and sexy?"
"Pfft!" The drink spilled out of Sandra's mouth, choking her as she began to hit her chest.
"Are you okay?" Ashley mumbled, her eyes widening as she watched Sandra.
"If it's shyness, then don't be Sandra. I'm sure he understands, after all, he's hot! But not as hot as Mikhail." Ashley mumbled again.
"Can you just shut up? It isn't this particular Boss but the one before this one." Sandra huffed, glaring at her sister.
"Wait..which one are we talking about here? You've never had a Boss before." Ashley asked, scratching her head.
"We'll talk later Mason, I forgot to tell her not to take even a sip of alcohol," Mikhail said, grabbing Ashley's hand and standing her up.
Picking up her bag, he carried her up in a bridal style and left the restaurant.. leaving the two alone at the table.
"Did you get the details from your sister Sandra?" The deep baritone resounded in her ear and Sandra cringed.
Ashley was a terrible mess, even in Highschool whenever they had a school drink night party, she was never given alcohol.
Two sips and she would begin to talk about anything that went up her head...
"I don't care what's going on in your head but please know that whatever my sister said was rubbish and she does that whenever she's drunk and stupid. You're nothing special and there's no way you're hot!" Sandra said in a go.
Silence reigned for a few minutes before a low chuckle sounded in the room.
It was low, deep, and cold.
Sandra turned to the man that was chuckling and he shook his head.
"Are you okay Miss Crook? The only thing I can recall is that I asked you if you collected information about the Casinos from your sister."
Sandra blinked.
Oh shit!
"Uhm, I knew you asked that, but uhm. you see, let's just forget I said that." She flashed a smile and he frowned.
"I would like it if nothing is misunderstood here. You're my work and there is absolutely no way I'd ever find you attractive. Look into the best hotel you can find in the area and get us booked." The last part came as a cold order that hit Sandra scrolling down her phone to get it done.
Maybe she was the one at fault.
She didn't know how and why she was still his worker
If it had been another company she was sure she would have been fired already.
She could recall his words in the board meeting the very first day she had partaken in it.
"You should be thankful to God that you're here because a certain someone insisted you work here!"
She had thought maybe it was God.
But there was no way he'd know what God wanted for her.
His company was the best she could ever dream of working at.
"I'm done." She mumbled and he nodded.
"Now get your ass ready and let's get the fuck out of here." He mumbled and she nodded like a hen that was shivering out of the cold.
She had to act like the best secretary ever. Although she hated when someone rubbed it on her face that she was poor...she was going to shove all those prides aside and focus on her job, and that would all be possible if God grants her prayers..cause the way she was viewing everything, she might as well hit him on the head to prove a point.
"Uhm I'm so sorry Sir, but the hotel called back and there are no reservations. All rooms have been booked." She mumbled as soon as they got into the car.
"What can you possibly do well?" He asked, and she lowered her head.
"Sorry sir, I'll try my best." The last part came out as a whisper as she gritted her teeth.
There was no way she'd be able to keep up with his cockiness!!
