Couple set
Chapter 55
The mall was a huge one and Sandra sighed.
This wasn't what she bargained for but if he wanted to spend money on her..then who the hell was she to say No.
They got down from the car and she smiled.
Mason was taking a phone call and he was very loud, cussing at the person at the other end of the phone.
"Don't you dare go back on your word, you scoundrel and..."
"Ouch." Sandra winced as if the insult had hit her.
He threw a glare and she shrugged.
"Good morning Mr. Mason." She turned to see a lady walking towards them.
Oh Please...not another one.
He ended the call, glaring at her before turning to the woman.
"Leslie! When did you arrive? I was told you live in Amsterdam now." He said, smiling.
"I've been doing fine. Yes, I traveled to Amsterdam 'cause mum wanted me to....get married."
"Ha! No wonder. I would not want to waste your time. I'll be leaving now." He said, and the latter nodded with a smile.
"Who is she?"
"She's my assistant and my girlfriend." He said, turning to Sandra and giving her a wide smile.
Sandra's eyes widened and she clenched her fist, smiling at the girl.
"Oh, she's so.... pretty," Leslie said.
Sandra said nothing, standing close to the man.
"Are you sure you want me to be your girlfriend, Sir?" She whispered to hear the man scoffed.
"Bye Leslie." He waved her off and she walked away.
"You should be happy that I'm calling you my girlfriend Sandra. Do you know how many women would die to stand at the spot you're standup right now?" He asked.
Sandra laughed.
She has never heard such nonsense before.
What was so good about being his girlfriend? Was it because of the money?
"Do you think everyone loves being the girlfriend of the rich guy? Well..if that's what you think..you better start thinking twice sir."
"Do you think I meant that? You're nothing but a secretary Kassandra Crook. You should never have any ideas. I don't do business with pleasure." He said, shaking his head as he walked away.
Sandra huffed.
She was just joking with him and he had taken it so seriously, speaking as if he...
'Just shut up and stop talking. You wanted a job so badly and now that you've been given one..you wanna throw it away.' She scolded herself.
"As if." She hissed and walked away.
The mall was spacious and Sandra could not help but wow in awe.
"I need an Italian suit and a corporate gown to match." She heard Mason tell the sales girls.
Why was he buying a couple of dresses?
Damnit! The man wanted a bashing on the head.
"Come here." He mumbled and grabbed her hand dragging her to a corner.
"What are you doing? People are watching." Sandra hissed, pulling her hand out of his grasp and he scoffed.
"We're going to see my parents today. And I would like it if you act normal. Follow my every lead, and remember that your bonus for the month depends on it." Mason said curtly, feigning a fake smile as he walked away.
Sandra huffed.
Who the heck was he telling that shit?
She was just his.
How would she act in front of his parents.. if not normal?
She was not going to woo him, was she?
Walking into the dressing room, she was quick to dress and when she was done, she took some minutes staring at herself in the mirror, she smiled at her reflection.
She was beautiful no doubt but the dress made her look more dashing.
She walked out of the dressing room, her hands by her side.
"Oh my... you're looking so beautiful, Ma'am." The sales girl commented with a smile.
Sandra knew that as well.
There was no way she was going to take off the dress.
"Sir?" She called.
She didn't know why her voice could not come out of her mouth.
Looking up at his face..she saw him run his eyes down her body and went back to his phone.
Seriously? She huffed, shaking her head, and was about to walk back when he stopped her.
"We're taking this one and the other ones. Wrap them up and put it up for TC." He said, and the girl nodded, leaving the room.
"I will go change as well, you don't have to take off the clothe..since we're leaving anyway." He said, moving past her to the male changing room.
Sandra scoffed.
Who the hell did he think he was?
He was just her Boss and nothing more..and if he thought she wanted a compliment then he was stupid.
'He didn't say a thing, Sandra.' Her mind scolded but she was quick to snap back at it.
Meanwhile, in the Changing Room, Mason had just walked into the room as he fidgeted with his tie.
He had met women..a lot of them but then, why was he acting like this?
There was no way Sandra Crook would ever look pretty or attractive in his eyes but seeing her in that body-fitting dress?
Her hips push out to give a V shape.
The slit that cut through her fair pale legs and up to her thighs...
Shaking his head, he took off his clothes and wore the ones he had gotten for them.
His parents were back from Texas.
Although they weren't his real parents, he adored them.
His mother wanted grandkids and he knew the next thing the poor woman would do was match him up with some stupid cranky woman he would not like at all.
Sandra was going to be his partner for the day and knowing Sandra..he was sure his mother would back off from his personal life.

Sandra sighed, as she folded her hands and waited for both the sales girl and her Boss.
She was suddenly getting weird thoughts about the man.
Why would the be dressing up to go see his parents?
She had watched a lot of drama and there was no way..he was trying to pull up something she didn't know about.
Watching him walk out of the dressing room, she rolled her eyes and turned around.
Mason Scott was a semi-God, if she had seen God himself then that was possibly Mikhail himself.
Damn! Man was created in the likeness of god...how could one be so handsome and evil at the same time?
But Mason?
He had a hint of the devil and a touch of an Angel.
He was Handsome..no doubt and his smiles...
'Why the hell are you thinking about that Sandra?' She scolded herself and turned around to smile at him.
"What is it?" He asked and she shrugged.
"It's nothing, I was just curious about where we're going. I mean you'll have to tell me where we're going so I'd have to inform some people about it...so in case you're trying to sell me off, they'll come to get you if I'm not seen in Twenty Four hours from now." She replied, raising her shoulders as if saying. 'The world is cruel, do not blame me for taking extra measures.'
"You talk a lot you know. For someone who's a secretary, you should have long been fired."
"Which beats me to why you're still keeping me here. Don't tell me you've fallen in love with me Mr. Mason, I'd never believe such." She said and he huffed.
"They are plenty of women out there in the streets, do not flatter yourself and take kindness for love."
"I wonder why men of today's world can not stick to one woman. Always fucking around wherever they go. My mother said these men are the ones that carry the germs around." Sandra sneered.
"It's called Disease D-I-S-E-A-S-E. That's how it's spelled, not germs." He corrected.
"You should stick to one woman Mr. Mason, this is good advice. Women carry DISEASES as you call them... around." She said, emphasizing the disease.
"Why would a man stick to a particular fish he has been trying to get and has not gotten it? When he can go for another fish that would come willingly? You'll have to work on that theory."
Sandra's eyes widened and she looked up at him.
They were waiting for the car to leave the garage.
Although his driver hdrivenenim there, he insisted that the man should leave.
Well, maybe because he was going to his parent's house and he didn't want them yelling at him?
That was an unlogical statement.
"Are you saying that the woman you want... doesn't want you, Mason?" She asked, her eyes wide open as she watched him with her hawk eyes.
He said nothing as they walked out of the lobby to the car that had driven to the front of the mall.
She hissed when he said nothing. Staring down at her dress, she smiled at the designs.
Oh, How she wished Ashley was there to see her.
She would rub it on her sister's face and leave nothing left!
