Chapter 122 Sudden Event
Everyone was busying themselves with packing their belongings in preparation for their departure from the property. Ares had been waiting for Kianna for almost to a quarter of an hour at this point, at which time she was still in the restroom.
"Hon, are you okay? Are you in need of some assistance?" Ares questioned with a troubled expression.
She responded with "No..." to her question. "However, are you aware of what? If I may say so myself... Right now, I do not have a good feeling about myself. It seems as though my head is getting heavier, and the temperature in my body has dropped significantly. In addition to that, I can feel my heart racing..." explains Kia.
After using the restroom, Kianna returns, and the first thing that Ares notices about her is how pale her face looks.
"Are you okay?" Ares inquired about this with concern. He snagged a chair and helped her settle into it before continuing his conversation.
"I'm sorry, I can't tell you... I — I feel… I feel like… I had the sudden need to puke up but I managed to hold it in—"
*Blurgh*
Kianna was left with no other option than to throw up because she is no longer able to exert any control over it. Ares appeared to be at a loss for what to do as he stared at her in disbelief, and it appeared as if he did not know what to do.
“Hon! What could possibly go wrong?? Please hold on while I get my mother on the phone to ask for assistance! Ares instructed everyone to get going immediately so they could find her mother. After that, he returned to the scene immediately with his mother, but Kianna had already been laid out on the ground. Everyone was really taken aback to see her in such a precarious position.
Kianna had no awareness of her surroundings. Even though her hair was partially covering her pure face, her beauty could still be seen through the veil of innocence that it cast. Ares's gaze was filled with concern as it traveled over to Kianna. He is concerned, but at the same time, he is at a loss for what to do next.
"Don't waste any time; dial the number of the exclusive physician straight immediately!" Kianna was the recipient of Madam Buenavista's shouting before she approached her.
"Son, now is the time to call all of the maids and instruct them to prepare a room for Kianna," the father instructed his son.
"Yes, mama." Ares bolted out of the room and quickly disappeared through a concealed door. When he first walked in, there were two doors directly in front of him to choose from. After that, he knocked, and one of the maids opened the door for him. "I am giving each and every one of you the command to exit this room immediately and get started on preparing the master bedroom!" Ares uttered those words just before he dashed off to find his mother.
Both Jillian and Kyle appeared to be in a state of disbelief when they first entered the room.
"Mom, what did you tell me about what happened to her?" While Jill was attempting to rouse up Kianna, she posed the question.
"We do not have that information. Son, help me move Kianna over to that sofa over there," she said, pointing to the couch. Ares didn't waste any time and went straight over to Kianna's side, where he proceeded to carefully lower her down the sofa.
One of the maids addressed the proprietress by saying, "Madam, the room is ready..."
"What do you think about going to the doctor? "On what planet does she reside?"
She said, "She is on her way, madam..." before she left the room. "She will be there shortly."
Ares quickly carried Kianna all the way to the master bedroom of the villa, where he then carefully set her down on the bed. As soon as they entered the room, they saw that there were maids standing beside the bed.
"Son, I think we should take a break from here for a little bit. They need to get your wife dressed in something else." The statement was made by Madam Buenavista, who then dragged his kid out of the room. Even though it was something that he really wanted to handle on his own, he is going to have to give in and let the maid to complete the task.
The servants were stripping Kianna of her clothing while they worked. On the table, there was a basin with hot water, and it was in the basin. It was originally used on Kianna by the housekeeper so that she could get her cleaned up. Even though she was not wearing any clothes, the maids continued to carry on as if nothing had changed and pretended as though they were not surprised by anything that was taking place. They dressed her in a comfortable white nightgown and a set of all-white undergarments before putting her to bed. They additionally checked to see if her hair was completely dried. After they have finished changing Kianna's clothes and cleaning her, they will proceed to the next step. They hurriedly exited the room as soon as possible.
"Are you done?" Ares questioned before he walked straight inside the room.
"Yes, Young Master..." was the response from everyone of them in unison.
Jill and the doctor came into the room at the same time as soon as the maid had left the space. "Mom, Ms. Torres has arrived," the student informed the teacher.
Ares turned around to gaze at their individual physician. "Could you please go and check on her..."
"She has such a sickly aspect about her. Young Master, are you able to shed some light on what took place with her?" Ms. Torres questioned the subject as she proceeded toward Kianna in the same sentence.
"When I asked how she was feeling, she claimed she wasn't feeling well and that her heart was palpitating. Then, just a few moments later, she suddenly hurled up, and then she passed out... Is there a significant implication? Mom! Why don't we hurry and get her to the hospital right away? Ares remarked with concern.
"Son, I just wanted to let you know that Doctor Torres was already here. Don't get stressed over it. It's nothing to worry about; she'll be OK..." Ares' dad is trying to console him by telling him what his mother had told him.
“Hmm. Let me see…" Kia's temperature is being taken by Ms. Torres, so she places her finger on the top of her head. She is running a temperature that is considered to be mild. She remarked this as she quickly extracted a thermometer from her pocket and wrapped it around one of her fingers.
Jill interrupted the conversation to say that she had never seen a thermometer like that before.
"Oh, what is this? The manufacturers of medical equipment have recently come out with this innovative new product. It is significantly more practical because it does not need to be cleaned after each usage.
Jill reacted positively when she heard that and said, "That's fantastic."
Ms. Torres said, "Yes, it is," as she took the thermometer out of its case and looked at the reading on it. "99.8 is a good number; it's not too high." The next step in the process involves taking the patient's blood pressure. "There is nothing to worry about with regard to her blood pressure." Following that, she gives her throat a quick check. "Her throat appears to have a bit of a scratchy appearance. Not good."
What exactly do you mean, Mister? Are questions being asked.
"Did she start shaking and sweating when she realized what was happening?"
The preceding part of the sentence begins, "She shuddered..." Ares has provided a response.
Ms. Torres indicated by her head that everything was in order and then said, "Okay. Malaria doesn't appear to be affecting her too much at all. I believe it would be beneficial for her to get her blood checked. There is absolutely nothing to be concerned about here. In the vast majority of instances, the results of the test come back negative. The only reason for this is out of an abundance of caution, as there has been an uptick in the number of confirmed cases of malaria over the past month or two. She then moves on to the next step of the process, which is writing the prescription: "I'm prescribing three medications and a syrup. The number of dots that are located in front of each one indicates the number of times during the day that she is required to take that particular medication. For instance, the presence of two dots in this area indicates that the medication should be consumed twice daily, once in the morning and again in the evening.
"Is that all there is to it?" Are questions being asked.
“Yes. Are there any additional questions that I can answer for you? While Ms. Torres was putting her things away, she questioned something.
"No, doc. Thank you."
While Ares was unable to be away from his wife, Madam Buenavista conferred medical advice with the attending physician. As they exited the room, everyone made sure to let him have their moment in the spotlight first before leaving just the two of them alone.
