“Let me call my driver.” Edgar said and motioned the water to pay. Edgar looked at the bill, it was amounting to Kshs 2,300. He gave the waiter Kshs 3,000 and told him, “Keep change.”

“Thank you, sir.” The waiter said as he began to clear their table.

Nancy just thought Edgar only wants to have sex with her. Just being desperate. She could see that the man was smitten.

“So, where are we going?” Nancy asked Edgar as soon as they got into the car, a white Toyota Premio assigned to him as long as he was in Mombasa.

Nancy felt her tension rise as they went towards the guest house.

“And you better keep your bet.” Nancy told Edgar. She knew she was just daring fate but was ready to see how it goes.

It was a short drive to Kisiwa guest house.

“A car, is our agreement.” Edgar told Nancy confidently as he walked towards the smiling receptionist who had gotten used to getting people who would come to have sex during the day.

“Welcome, how may I help you?” the smiling receptionist asked Edgar.

“A room please, and make sure it is a nice room.” Edgar told her.

Quickly, they got a room.

“Come with me.” The receptionist told them. They followed her. They came to their room, a nice decent room which was also very clean.

Once inside the room, Edgar held Nancy and told her, “I know you will like it.”

“What?” Nancy asked. All she cared was just to get money, “Are you sure you are going to give me a car or you are just joking?”

“I am serious.” Edgar said.
