Chapter 16 Draco's Plan
Draco POV
Tia and I look over the auction listings and find the wolf that bought my sister. Tia is amazing on the computer. She moves through the listings fast. She is able to get into the computer and penetrate the firewall. “I am in the main computer. I will have the information we need soon,” Tia says.
She is moving through everything much quicker than I ever have been able to move. She is a natural. I have basic computer skills and can get the information I want, but she is going in deep. I need her to stay and help me stop these auctions.
“Can you track the auction location and the bidders?” I ask.
She pecks away at the computer. Aspen, Angela, and I watch her work. “So, what is your plan after you get the location of the bidders and the auctions?” Angela asks me.
“Oh, you are going to love this,” I say to her.
I motion for her to move in closer. “My girl here, Tia, is going to shut down the auction temporarily. We will create a virus and then make old wolfie think he won two hybrids, you and Tia. Aspen and I will take the two of you in, unfortunately, in a breeding box, but no worries. We will have it set where you can release yourself. Once inside, the two of you will free everyone. Aspen and I will pull the van down the road and come back in through the back. Boom Boom Boom, we will kill every wolf inside,” I say.
Angela stands there looking at both Tia and me. “This is your plan? What if they kill us all or you and Aspen?” Angela asks.
“Well, it was Tia’s idea. I was going to just go in shooting, but I did not know I had a computer genius in the house. She suggested this, and I agree. It could work,” I say.
“And if it does not work?” Aspen asks.
“Well, I guess then we will go in shooting until we get our girls back,” I say.
“This is crazy, but I am willing to do anything to get Deanne back,” Angela says.
“Angela and Tia are in; how about you, Aspen? Are you in?” I ask him.
Aspen shakes his head. “This is crazy, but fuck it. Let’s do it. I think it will work,” Aspen says.
“Good, Aspen, help me bring the boxes up from the basement. Angela, go to the garage. There is an old van out there that is perfect for this job. The key is in it,” I say.
Angela leaves the kitchen through the side door to the garage. When she sees how she has to go in the box, she might change her mind, but maybe not. Tia continues to work on the computer, and I leave the kitchen with Aspen to bring up the boxes from the basement.
Aspen goes down the basement in front of me. The boxes are not heavy when empty, but they will be heavy when we put them in the van with Angela and Tia in the box. “How are just the two of us going to carry these boxes into the house to deliver, and won’t they recognize both of us?” Aspen asks.
“Remember the SOS you sent out to the vampires?” I ask him.
Aspen looks at me and scratches his head. Surely he has not already forgotten. “Yeah, but you did not explain any of that to me. I had no idea what I was sending or what was going on at the time. I only sent the message,” Aspen says.
“Well, my friend. We have a small army to help us. All vampires, so don’t get nervous, my wolf friend. They are on my side of this,” I say to him.
“Yeah, just remember I am on your side,” Aspen says.
“I know, and you are doing the right thing by helping us. Besides this seems to have brought you in contact with your mate,” I say to Aspen.
"Yeah, well, I would never want her in danger," Aspen says.
"One thing about Angela, she will find danger. She is nosey, bossy, and headstrong. She has been that way her entire life. She is smart and damn, that girl can get her mind on something and she will not let it go. Look what happened when she was looking for Deanne. She does not give up. She will make one hell of a doctor," I say to Aspen.
"She is definitely a fireball," Aspen says.
I am happy he met Angela and that they are together. I hope it all works out. As long as they do not try to have children they should live happily ever after. I believe he will be good to her.
I know it must be hard on him to turn his back on the wolves. Of course, they did turn their back on him first. After what happened to his family, I do not blame him for wanting revenge against the auctions.
Aspen and I haul the first box up the stairs and then return for the other one. The boxes are built to hold the hybrid in place and to keep the hybrid compliant. Some women have told me they were left in these boxes for weeks while they were used for breeding by vampires and, in some cases, wolves. The wolf breeding never goes well. That is why Angela is so special. She was a miracle baby. Hybrids cannot breed with wolves it almost always ends in death.
Aspen and I set the second box down. “Will they be able to tell Angela is a tribrid,” Aspen asks.
“I do not plan on giving them time to figure it out. We are going in fast. I do not want her in there no longer than she has to be,” I say to him.
“And if they do before we get in there?” Aspen asks.
“Let us just hope they do not. Someone would love to get their hands on her, trust me. I do not want to put Angela in danger. I only want to get Deanne back, but Angela knows the risks. I will not leave Angela behind, no matter what I have to do to get her out,” I say to Aspen.
“I will not leave without her, Draco. I love her, and when this is over, I am taking her far away from here to start a new life far away from this shit. Somewhere so she can finish school and be my wife if that is what she wants,” Aspen says.
“I know you will take care of her,” I say.
Angela comes through the front door. “I parked the van out front,” she says as she tosses me the keys.
“We are all set,” Tia says, coming in from the kitchen.
The front door opens, scaring Angela. A vampire walks into the house. Angela makes a run for it straight to Aspen. She hides behind him. “Good Evening,” Jeb hisses as he walks into the house. Jeb is always slightly dramatic. He thinks he is count Dracula or something.
I walk over to him. “Did you bring anyone with you?” I ask him.
“Yesss,” Jeb hisses.
Jebb is an old vampire and a badass. He will kick ass and take names later. “Is that a wolf with us?” Jeb asks.
“Yes, that is Aspen, and he is on our side. So do not eat him or kill him or whatever,” I answer him.
Jeb walks over to Aspen. He peers into his eyes. “So much pain in your mind, young wolf. For the record, I do not like the taste of wolf blood it is always bland,” he says to Aspen.
“Yes, there is a lot of pain and I am happy to know that I am not on your menu,” Aspen answers.
Jeb looks over at Angela. “Aww, you are one of us, and hmmm, well, look at you. You are a tribrid. You are a very very special girl. If you ever want to get in touch with your vampire side, come see me,” he hisses at Angela. He touches her chin and smiles at her.
“Okay, thanks, I think,” Angela answers meekly.
“You two belong together, yessss, you are mates for sure,” Jeb says to Angela and Aspen. He walks over to Tia. She is shaking in her boots.
“You, awww, a hybrid, look at you. How pretty you are, my sweet girl. So much rage and anger in you. Hmmm, you need vengeance. I can help you with that. I am sorry about your sister,” Jeb says to her.
“Thank you, sir, I think,” Tia says.
“Now, let us get you two loaded up and get this party started. We have some wolves to kill, no offense, Aspen and some people to save and we are wasting time sitting around here chatting, ” Jeb says.
