Chapter 8 Aspen And Angela

Aspen POV

I walk with Angela to the back part of our territory. I cannot lie; I am excited about having her to myself all night. "Have many cabins, is it and how dirty are they?" Angela asks me.

I laugh. "Well, there are eight, and the cabins were filthy the last time Alpha was there, but they are all pretty clean now except for two of them. I can help you, and we will have the rest of the night to build a fire or whatever," I say to her.

"Why does Alpha think the cabins are dirty?" I ask.

"Because the cabins were, but I have been going up there working on them for a while at night when I was bored, but he does not need to know that," I say to her.

"Well, it looks like you saved me from some hard work, Aspen," Angela says.

We arrive at the cabins." These two in the middle are the ones that need to be cleaned. We can each take one and be done in a few hours," I say to her.

"Okay, I will get to work, sir," Angela says.

She walks into the cabin and goes to work. I take the other cabin and begin cleaning it. I want to have some time with her tonight, maybe get to know more about her. There is something about her that makes me crazy.

I work quickly cleaning the cabin and getting it to Alpha's standards. The cottages have been empty for a while. Alpha only uses them when he has to house the extra auction participants, and that has not happened in a bit. If he wants these cabins clean, then something big must be about to happen here. I need to help Angela before it happens. I do not know how to get her out, but I want to help her. I finish up and go to help Angela finish her cabin. I am surprised to see her waiting for me outside the cabin. "Done already?" I ask her.

"He will not come up here, and I can promise you that. He is too busy with the vampires tonight," I say to her.

"No, I had no idea. So is her brother a hybrid and her parents?" she asks me.

"No, No, that is not how it works. Deanne is a hybrid half-fairy and half-vampire. That is what the vampires want. They want fairy hybrids. Her brother Draco is a vampire. Her mother is a vampire and her father a fairy," I answer her.

"Well, that explains a lot. They are a strange family, but I had no idea. They have always been good to me. Well, up until Deanne went missing. I was the only person that looked for her," Angela says.
