No, seriously. What does she even do?
“T-Then, I’ll be off! Thank you for the food, but it's not going to convince me to strip naked right now or anything..!” Yuria ran off without looking back.
That wasn’t my intention in the first place…
“Sigh.”
So much for getting straight to the point. She just avoided the question and ate the rest of the food. Honestly, what the hell am I even doing?
I’m in school, so I should just finish school normally. Yeah. Let’s do that. I’ve had enough thinking for today.
Lunch break was nearing its end so I went to my next class early.
Creak..
The door made an ear-crunching sound. Clearly it hasn’t been oiled in a while. Inside the room–
Squelch..
“Mmm~”
Ms. Phaedro was inappropriately touching herself on the teacher’s desk.
Creak..
“Hold on, you can’t just leave! Now that you’ve seen me like this, you have to take responsibility!”
“Who died and let you become a teacher?! And isn’t this Mr. Cornelius’ class?!”
“Everyone needs some vacation time in their lives, so if anything he should thank me because I gave him a much needed vacation! Now stop trying to close the door.”
God… Why did the Empire teach a pervert like her to become so powerful..?
Creak.
Eventually, my own strength failed me. It was nothing compared to the Halfsword of Valin.
“No… No… NOOOO!”
Rumors began going around the school. If you hear the creaking of an old door on the second floor, accompanied by screams of the damned, it was already too late. Then, an acrid smell would permeate through one of the rooms. All you could do was pray that the spirit haunting the second floor would quietly pass by.

“Brian, make sure to kick a tooth or two out of him for me.”
“Show him we mean business!”
“Yeah! Kick his ass.”
“These underclassmen have been getting quite cocky.”
As expected, a crowd had gathered in the training grounds on this particular day.
“Today, I shall save you from that dastardly deviant! Don’t hate me too much for winning.”
Cig looked completely unphased by the crowd’s unpleasant remarks.
Looking around in the crowd, I couldn’t see Jack anywhere. Hm..
He must be so confident in my victory that he didn’t even bother showing up. Yeah, that must be it. I’m not at all salty that he isn’t here. Not at all.
…
“And begin!” Lev Yatan’s declaration of the battle didn’t seem to register in my mind.
What if he really forgot?
Clang! Cling!
“Guh.. You’re pretty good!”
What if he didn’t believe that I was going to win?
Clack!
“Take this!”
What if he…
Clang.! Clang!
“Hah! Take that!”
What if..
“Hooh!”
“Would you please shut up for a moment?”
Clack.
One of the two wooden swords that Cig held was suddenly knocked away into the sky.
“I’m trying to think, so I’d appreciate it if you could keep it down.”
While the crowd was baffled at the highspeed-disarming, Cig casually took out another wooden sword from nowhere.
I just have to maim him to win, right? Simple enough.
“Hooh..”
I take a deep breath and draw out the slightest bit of my inner sword ki. The invisible energy wrapped around my sword, reinforcing it to absurd levels. Finally, I take a forward leaning stance. Otherworldly Sword God, Fourth Form.
“Glimmer.”
The world seemed to slow down as I carefully cut Cig twelve times in quick succession.
Shh…-Click.
And sheathed my sword… Wait, I don't have a sheath.
“Agh!”
Nevertheless, I could hear his groan of pain through the smoke. Finally, some peace and quiet.
Should I tell him…? Is he ready? Will he feel betrayed that I lied to him? I know I can never show the world, but at least maybe he can…
Shing!
“Hey, I thought we agreed to not use our special techniques!”
What? Cig’s still standing?
As the smoke cleared, something strange happened. I’m sure that I hit him in that time frame, but he looks unharmed. Suddenly, a spherical, transparent aura of some sort completely enveloped him.
“You leave me no choice. I’ll do whatever I can to get you away from Jack!”
~~~~
Fire, wind, earth, and water. As an avid fan of the hit game…! What was the name of the game again? Whatever, either way, there were four main types of magic you could start out with on your playthrough. They each had their strengths and weaknesses that all helped or made it more difficult to romance the heroines.
Of course, I paid to win because I’m not broke. There was a DLC pack. And I got the ancient technique, Magitech!
As a computer science major who made hundreds of thousands of won, I thought it was only fitting that I bought it.
Suddenly, one day… my life had changed. I was transmigrated into the world of the game as the main character and tasked to–
[Reach the true ending with all the heroines!]
[0/5]
Thankfully, my family wasn’t exactly too poor. They weren’t rich either, but it was just enough to get into the academy along with my childhood friend Yuria. Who also happens to be a heroine.
It was sudden, but my new life as an 18 year old computer science major isn’t over yet! Nay, it’s merely continuing into the next chapter of my life!
Cig signing out.
~~~~
Cig signing back in.
It seemed a bit too early in the game to reveal my trump card, but I had no choice. Aston Brian was resisting me quite fiercely. As a long time player of… the game… I knew she was reshaping her skeletal structure and wearing chest bindings to appear male. So even if I had to reveal my magic, I’d do anything to get her away from Jack!
Swing. Crackle. Swing. Crackle.
The sphere of magical energy gradually changed shape. It went from a sphere, to a cube, then lastly to a pentagonal prism. Currently, I can only maintain a shape with 7 faces, but that is more than enough to deal with Brian in the early game.
“Hng..!” As if noticing the transformation, she quickly began hacking away at the shield before it could fully form.
But it was too late. I would simply rotate the shield to another face while the broken parts began regenerating.
“Is defending all you can do?!”
“So you finally acknowledge my existence.”
Before I showed my Magictech, I wasn’t even a threat in her eyes? How harsh. Magic was pretty easy, so I tried learning swordsmanship instead.
The battle is still in my favor though. Knowledge is an important part of winning, and Brian knows next to nothing about Magitech. I, on the other hand, know everything about her. The fact that she has absolutely no magical energy inside of her body is due to her unique constitution. She was shunned even in her own family all because they valued magic talent over everything. She even had to act and talk like a brute to keep up the facade… In an act of disobedience, Brian turned to the sword and found immense talent in it.
“Even still…”
Crack! Swing.. Crack!
“You’re too damn fast!”
Rather than slowing down upon seeing my shields, she’s starting to speed up even more. The rate at which I regenerate my shields is starting to drop. I need to disrupt her momentum!
“H-Hey, I thought this was supposed to be a friendly duel.”
“Brian, I think you’ve shown him enough business…”
Their reaction wasn’t exactly uncalled for. Especially since we’ve both completely abandoned the wooden swords.
Snap.
“Huh… You’re not half bad! Keep making it worth my repair fees!”
Brian suddenly stops his barrage on her own and… snaps the blade off of its hilt? I don’t remember her doing this in the game…? She reloaded her sword?!
~~~~
I’m burnin’ up… I didn’t think I’d get this heated at a duel.
Cig…
This is all your fault, so take responsibility.
“I’m about to drop something big on ya’. Don’t let it kill ya’ now and spoil the fun!”
My body automatically dropped to a lunge with my “sword” left. It was a familiar feeling. As if I had just resonated with another version of myself in another world. This was… Otherworldly Sword God. For some reason, I already knew what the name of this technique was even though it was my first time using it.
Tanglecleaver.
Crack-ck-ck-Crack!
Every remaining shield had collapsed under the immense pressure. It was a complete and total extermination.
“Huff.. Huff..”
~~~~
That would’ve been bad, had I not implemented my super, ancient, Mesopotamian Magictech crop cycle rotation!
“Ugh… Now, we can finally fight seriously!”
Back in my past life, I was a successful computer science major. I’ll make sure to keep that success going in this life!
“Take this!”
“Ughh!!”
~~~~
I never asked to be born. I never wanted to live like this. How was it my fault that I wasn’t born without magical energy…? Also, this is how I normally talk.
This world… and all the things in it… I’ll burn it all down. Starting with you, Cig!
Otherworldly–!
~~~~
Oh.. My days as a computer science major now feel like a fleeting dream. The money and wealth that I once had… I’ll make sure to–
“Sumerian codex of Hammurabi!”
~~~~
Otherworldly–!
~~~~
“Greek super tornado!”
~~~~
“Otherworldy!!”
~~~~
“Alright, alright! That’s enough. Can’t you see that our precious friend is suffering? Shame on both of you.”
Luckily, Ms. Phaedro stopped the duel before it got any worse. Actually wait… aren’t you late? They’ve already destroyed the entire arena.
Just as I finished that thought, both fighters dropped like logs.
“Nothing to see here! Get back to class.”
I walked forward to pick up Aston and bring him to the infirmary. Sorry I didn’t notice it until now… You’re actually pretty light for a dude. I’ll just make a mental note to prepare him some food as well.
“Heek! Cig!”
“Is he alright?”
Soon, Pae Prex and Lev Yatan appeared as well.
We had an awkward walk to the infirmary together.
“Sigh… How do more and more of you keep appearing? I mean, I don’t mind. I get paid by the injury, but still.”
“You have some serious moral issues for a nurse.”
She simply shrugged off my careless remark.
Another strange day had passed… Yesterday, I confronted Yuria about her behavior only for her to avoid the topic completely. Today, some strange duel took place. Who even won in the end?
I couldn’t tell you even if you asked. Either way, who knows how many times I’ll have to visit this infirmary in the future…
Tug.
“Hm?”
I felt something tug at my shirt as I got up to leave.
“D-Don’t go…”
Poor Aston… He must be feeling hungry. I’ll make something nice for you when you’re feeling better.
“I understand completely. Then, take care.”
~~~~
Noooo… Don’t go!!
Jack, there’s this weird person in my head trying to talk to me..!
“Oi, you just called yourself weird. I’m literally you, y’know?”
There’s no way! No way in hell I would look like that in the future!
“Like it or not, you’re gonna keep up the act until you get old. Also I’m the one teaching you the Otherworldly Sword God form if you even care.” The tomboyish looking version of me sat cross legged in the dark space I found myself in.
“This is your inner realm. I’ve been trying to get in contact with you, but you just weren’t at that level yet… Until you suddenly shot up a couple levels in an extremely short time frame.
Oh, you must be talking about that duel. It all just kinda happened.
“Whatever the case… Great! Now I can show you the next stage of Otherworldly Sword God.”
Don’t you mean Otherworldy Sword God?
“S’what I said.”
Sure…
So what do I call you? Master?
“Sounds fitting. Let’s go with that.”
Eventually, I reformed my body into how it usually is, without the skeletal restructuring.
Snap!
“Phew.. I feel like I can breathe now.”
Snap!!
“Haah, you’re right. I almost forgot I could do that too.”
I guess even me from the future dislikes chest bindings.
“Alright, your body is still recovering so the first thing we gotta do–”
“Agh!.. This power! It’s overflowing!!”
A sudden surge of power coursed through my veins.
“Master, what do I do? Where did this power come from?”
I awaited a response.
…
“I don’t know. That’s scary…”
What the hell do you even do?!
When you finally get a Sukuna in you but she don't know what she's doing either
